I looked them up on the Internet. They carried the brand of generator that I had that I replaced. I used them to come out and check out the old one and decided to go with them to install a new one instead. As far as I can tell, the price was very good. It was competitive pricing. Their responsiveness and punctuality were excellent. Their professionalism was excellent as well.

We could not be happier with the entire experience. Earl, the salesman, was punctual, professional, and very, very helpful. He not only sells furnaces, but really understands the dynamics of heating and cooling a home. He was able to (and happy to) answer all our questions, and his dedication to doing the very best job for his customers came shining through. He did not try to upsell us on equipment we didn't need or skimp on quality just to get the price down. The two men who installed the new furnace were exactly on time, very neat (left absolutely no mess or debris of any kind) extremely courteous and professional and did a terrific installation job well within the predicted time frame. The furnace is working just as promised, and after getting rid of our very old clunker, we are more comfortable than we have ever been before in our home during winter time. We feel we got a great price, a quality product and the kind of service that you rarely find any more. I recommend Zenner and Ritter to anyone for any heating or cooling job without hesitation.

My furnace wasn't working so I called Zenner & Ritter based on the excellent rating. I thought the thermocouple needed to be replaced. When the service repairman arrived, he said it wasn't the thermocouple. The universal pipes needed to be replaced and the estimate was $1,300 however, he couldn't guarantee that it would be compatible with my furnace so he suggested I replace the furnace for $2,000 since my furnace was really old. Before I spent $2,000 on a new furnace, I wanted a second opinion. I called another company and they came out to assess the problem. I mentioned that I thought it was the thermocouple but didn't mention I had another company provide me with an estimate. They fixed the thermocouple and my furnace is working. I'm so glad I got a second opinion before spending the money.

Our experience was really pretty good. Everything got installed correctly. There was one problem, which I had kind of caused, and they didn't even charge me for it. I think that we had a little initial problem but they were through it without any difficulty and we didn't have to hound them to come out and look at it or anything. Everything has been working well since. They were really cheaper than anybody else. They let out a lot of the Freon from our old unit into the atmosphere. I recommended them to my mother and she had a furnace put in at her house, and everything went real smooth with that.

They do a wonderful service. As far as the pricing they come out and do the air conditioner and then do the furnace at the same time so it is one price. They do our daughters' as well. We will continue to use them in the future.

The service person, Ron who came out from Zenner & Ritter Inc. Company was very courteous. He was very helpful. He seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He also did some repair on the unit. Their pricing was higher than what we used to pay to our previous provider; it is $30 higher. The previous provider is out of business so it does not really matter. We had a gas leak once and Zenner & Ritter Inc. Company was not able to send someone out immediately. We had to wait for like a week. Their punctuality was fine.

The job went very well. They did the job quickly and neatly. The quality of the work was excellent.

As stated above, the work was not performed. The representative was on time, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL, and not high pressure at all. He also made several suggestions in other areas that I requested. It was a very positive call. The rep was Bob Fraser and he was just great.

They were very professional and explained what they had to do, including explaining the rebates that were available. The installation involved quite a bit of work and took all day. They did a very good job and I will use them again in the future.

Their price didn’t initially include upsizing the duct work which added another $1000. The other guys that came out quoted me on upgrading the duct work and, once I added that it, they were in the same ballpark. I didn’t like that I had to call up and question the upgrading of the duct work and that was the main reason that I didn’t use them. They came out pretty quickly and they were on time.

Really great and easy to work with . The phone person in the office was a bit abrupt on the phone. Used too much HVAC jargon, which made the problem description difficult. The technicians were much nicer; listened and explained things.

They did a great job. Overall, the job went very good. They were excellent. They were very professional too. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

Went very well. The old furnace had failed and they quoted, sourced and installed the new unit within 2 days. All work was on time, and as budgeted.

It is just a typical service. They show up when they say they would. They are professional people. I don’t need to track them.

Excellent service -- made emergency call on a Sunday morning the day before Labor Day. Had a response from the technician on call within 30 minutes and had a technician at the house within 2 hours. Technician was professional, efficient, and fully fixed the problem.

Zenner and Ritter provided estimate of work. Final cost was as promised. Workers arrived on time and completed job efficiently.

I was pleased with the service 10 years ago, during the interim whenever I have needed service I have called this company, and today was no different.

taking everything into account....average. The installer on 25th told me they just started doing plumber. They've been a heating and cooling company since 1930.

They did a good job. I?m happy with them. I would use them in the future.

The sales person mislead me with regards to the tax savings I would be receiving. Although he claimed the $10,000 A/C unit qualified, it didn't. A fact I found out AFTER the install was complete. I received a refurbished condenser and was charged full price. The wrong size unit was estimated for one of my rooms. I went through 4 follow-up visits including one with the manufacturer's rep in order to finally have it replaced. The sales person tried to force me to buy the unit that was the wrong size by claiming I intended to use it in a new area. Since the replacement unit was installed, I have had a perpetual problem with another unit making an awful rattle. The service team and manager has come out a minimum of 4 times, but can not figure out what is causing it. I also believe the outside units are now the wrong size for the amount the inside units are generating. According to teh manufacturer's manual, I need a larger unit, but I was assured everything is fine. After the awful summer long install experience I wrote the owner a certified letter explaining my experience. To date, I have never received a response. I would like to say that the service team is EXCELLENT!! They are professional and courteous and, from the comments, they seem to be left out to dry a lot with sales lies and poor customer service. FInally, as I have had MANY service calls in the past 2 year, I am also disappointed in their scheduling process. They can not guarantee when someone will arrive. If they end up with a delay in a call and the team can not make it to your house the day you scheduled an appointment, no one calls to give you a head's up. I have had days waiting for service and the answer is "others have it worse than you. At least you have heat .. or at least you have a/c"

I was very nervous about the hideous noises my furnace had been making. I called Zenner & Ritter at 3:35pm, the woman on the phone told me I'd be scheduled as an after 5.. and the tech had one other call before me. The tech called me at 7 to inform me he was minutes away. He came in my home, kind and courteous, I followed him downstairs, he sat down on the floor, as did I beside him and he explained the situation and put my mind at ease. He was very honest, which I like. I had been told last year by a different outfit that something was cracked and I would need a new furnace and A/C unit..for a ridiculous amount of money. This man gave me many options. I will be calling them in a couple months to install a new furnace! I would recommend them to family and friends!! Great Service. I have no doubt the next service call will be just as good!

Not only did they have the best price, but the salesman explained all of the available options. They showed up on time, completed the work as scheduled, and left the basement cleaner than the way they found it. A few weeks later I called about an apparent problem with the thermostat and they arrived that afternoon and resolved the problem.

I experienced a couple scary moments when my furnance stop working. I went down to the basement and noticed that a red light was flashing in the unit. I decided to take the cover off and the furnace poped back on . After happening a couple times I decided to call a professional in before it was to late. I decided to go to Angie's list and find a company that I can call. I decided to call Zenner & Ritter. I called at 7:30 in the morning and they were at my house by 8am the same day. The service came in and found that it was a small fix ( apart needed cleaning), and in no time the furnance was good to go. The company was very prompt, and the price was reasonable.
