He was excellent. It was very good. I paid an upfront charge to Angie's List of $75 and then he came up with a hundred and something dollars so it was quite expensive as far as I was concerned. I was misled I think when she said that the offer of plumber service is for $75, I did realize that it didn't include the extra hours to what he had to put in. I don't know what I was thinking. To me, it was a little bit pricey but he did a very good job. I can't afford plumber. They're very outrageous.

T-Mark I paid $660 for plumbing tasks. All but one was satisfactory, thus a ?D? grade and not ?F.? One item was to repair a tight and noisy swiveling faucet arm. When I did the final walkthrough with the plumber, I told the plumber that the swivel was still tight. Plumber said he did his best, and that it would get very complicated to change the faucet on this service call since we would have to make decisions as to what make, model, etc. It was a bit looser and not noisy at the time, so I did not vehemently insist. A few hours later, it tightened up again and now makes a horrible noise. I.e., it was worse. I took a video with audio, which I sent to the owner. The noise is at an 83 decibel level (?possible hearing loss in 8 hr. exposure?-I have a decibel meter one for other purposes.) I advised the company immediately. I suggested I pay for a new faucet, with a spray attachment, and would cover: ? The honest amount for installation labor, ? Honest parts. I asked the company waive any new service call charges (if any) and subtract what I already paid for other repairs on that faucet (new ceramic insert and aerator) which I believe is either $210 or $175, as I would not need the faucet anymore. This is fair, and my guess is that the company would still make money. I made several inquiries (via snail mail, direct email, Angies List message and company web mail) and a phone call. Although I did receive one voice mail (with no substance) the response was passive aggressive with no offer to remedy or honor the 1 year warranty. The owner never responded to my callback or any email messages, nor did even confirm he received the email. Work was done March 27 2015, and I have heard nothing to date. (It is April 20.)

They are 100% an awesome local business. We got a better deal through another local agency, but their professionalism is still awesome. If I had plumbing problems I would call them for sure. They checked the boiler, and he actually went through and inspected some other stuff that wasn't part of the deal. He flushed the boiler, rinsed the water out, inspected for safety and gave me some tips on how to have it operate efficiently. I had some questions about some other plumbing stuff. We're pretty new to this house, and the previous home-owner was a do-it-yourself kind of guy. I was worried that he might have cut some corners on some things, so he checked that for me. It was complicated, because we were considering getting a tankless water heater. They're super expensive (like $3500.00). The old fashioned ones are not quite as efficient. After we had three estimates done, we decided to replace the traditional one because the cost was so expensive. Their price was pretty comparable, though.
Description of Work: I had an emergency (I was replacing a faucet on the bathtub and I did it the wrong way.) and I had them come out and give me an estimate for a water heater, too.

They came as planned, were very professional. They were not sure that they had successfully cleared the pipes and explained that to us. The work took several hours. Luckily the force of the pump cleared out the remaining dirt. So far we have not needed to recall them. Steve was our man and he knows his stuff. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with another staff member, recently, for another sump pump issue . However we then asked for Steve, who came over and explained to us, that we could do that job ourselves. Therefore they had to come out twice for the free estimate.
Description of Work: Cabled out plugged clay pipes in our backyard. The intervention worked well and we now have a satisfactory run-off for the sump pump.

Arranged for next day service and Steve from T-Mark showed up when expected, I was even called and offered an earlier time which I had to refuse. Steve worked quickly and efficiently and opened up the drain line the best he could. He was correct in diagnosing an issue with a part of my drain line that was not replaced. I was aware of this problem and he provided an estimate to replace that section of drain line. He gladly applied the Angles list coupon against the price of the service and explained there was a six month warranty on the service and the amount I paid would be applied against the replacement if I decided to have the work done. I would recommend T-Mark for this type of service and feel they would provide the same level of service regardless of the task.

I called about replacing a gas wall heater for my tenant. Ryan (I believe) setup an appointment with him for the next day but failed to show up or call. I called back and spoke to the receptionist and she said she would investigate what happened. Ryan called me later that day and didnt seem to interested in coming out and taking a look. He asked what if any estimates I had and how much they where. I told him I only had one for $1900 and he said he couldnt touch it for under $2200. I ended up getting it replaced for $1350 and the plumber I used was absolutely awesome.

We really apologize for your experience. We have since changed our services offered to no longer include wall furnaces. These units are generally un reliable, create a mess in the home when retrofitting a replacement and provide poor comfort to the customer. We use high quality equipment to try to alleviate these issues and warranty work. This often priced us above the competitive price we try to achieve, and I believe you were caught in the middle of this transition. I apologize, and I hope you give us another chance to service, tune up or install your traditional forced air furnace, hot water boiler or steam boiler.

I can't speak highly enough about Ryan and T-Mark. Every time I call they are so helpful and polite - our boiler was running at a high pressure, and I was worried because we were going out of town the next day and I didn't want anything to happen while we were gone. I called up T-Mark and they were able to stop over within an hour! Ryan knew exactly what to do, he cleaned out a coil, cranked the heat up, and came back in 20 minutes to make sure the pressure was staying low enough. He is so thorough and polite and knowledgeable, and always answers all of my questions (and being a new home owner I tend to ask a lot of questions!) Since he had serviced our boiler and radiators earlier in the season, he didn't charge for stopping over to make this quick fix. This company is great, I trust them and would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone looking for help with their boilers and radiators!

The guy who showed up was kind of a slob. Not very professional. Didn't act like he wanted to do the job. He said he couldn't be sure if he got all the tree roots out. He said we needed a new sewer line installed. When we asked if he could give us an estimate on what that would cost, he just said "about $10,000.00". He said he would have his boss come back and do a video inspection of our sewer line. No one ever showed up.

I purchased the certificate months in advance of the service. I called on a Monday and they could have been over on Tuesday Morning. My schedule was filled so we made the appointment for 9am on Wednesday. The office called about 0830 to let me know that Kevin would be over on time. The plumber arrived on time and introduced himself. I showed him where the cleanout access was and he brought his equipment down the basement. In about 45 minutes he was done with minimal mess. He had snaked out some roots which I expected since I had noticed some slowing of the drain flow. This is a service I routinely do every other year because of a history of root problems. It was very nice to receive good professional service while saving money with Angie's List

Everything went great. Jeff came out the day after Thanksgiving and did a wonderful job. He and another worker showed up right on time and everything went smoothly. We had a break in our main sewer line going from the house to the main sewer connection. They did all the work and the price that had been quoted was the price that was paid. Jeff and the other worker were very kind and courteous and left our yard in the best possible condition following the work. Would definitely hire again and recommend.

This was a service call for a hot water tank that the customer told us he had already had two other plumbers look at. He bought the tank from Home depot, and was expecting an outside plumber to perform any repair for free under a warranty he had with home depot; that home depot already denied for a warranty claim. When he called in upset; we proceeded to go there and service the unit for free. We were unable to fix the heater, as it needed parts that he was unwilling to pay for and home depot was not warrantying because the tank was clearly submerged in water. Customer was a little confused how a home depot warranty works, and I think upset with home depot. Not sure how we did wrong by him.

Arrangements were made months in advance, but the technician showed up on time and was very informative about my furnaces. He was a little unsure of something and didn't have the equipment to test for it so he called for backup. Due to illness, backup took a couple of days but service was scheduled. The new technician was awesome...Made me feel right at ease. Thanks....

I thought they did a great job, and I'd definitely call them again. We had just purchased our house, and the first time we turned on our heat, it was noisy and half of the radiators were leaking! I didn't know what to do! T-Mark sent someone out the next business day, and he was very patient and answered all of my questions/concerns. He fixed a bunch of leaks the first time he came out, and the second time he came out, he was with another guy and they fixed a few more leaks I had noticed in addition to replacing all of my steam valves. Then they stuck around while the heat ran to make sure everything was working properly. Not only did the techs seem very knowledgeable, they were also very good looking... Just saying... It certainly doesn't hurt to have handsome heating techs! :)

What we thought was a simple drain leak from the bathroom sink was actually the result of the original galvanized pipes deteriorating in the walls. Kevin from T-Mark originally guesstimated that he would need to go through the bathroom wall as well as the garage wall below the bathroom in order to gain access to the pipes to the basement, as well as move furnace ductwork. He would arrange for the HVAC guys to be on hand if needed. (I was trying to determine how much internal organs were going for on the black market by this time, in order to pay for the work.) Instead, arriving promptly at 8:00 AM on the scheduled day, he and his team figured out a way to run new plumbing from the basement to the bathroom without disturbing either the duct work or the garage wall, mainly due to the age of the house and the wacky layout of the original plumbing. They were done within one day. The inspector gave the finished job his official okay, and they cleaned everything up, returning the bathroom to working order, covering the open part of the shower wall with plastic (and we have new faucets!) so that it could be used. So instead of two open walls, we were left with only the partial bathroom wall to close in and re-tile. Kevin also explained how the new shower faucet was connected, so they could be properly removed and replaced once the wall is done. This is the third time we've used T-Mark, and our largest job, and we are very happy with their work. (And I still have all my internal organs.)

These men have been to my house a few times now and have performed various plumbing services for me, i.e. garbage disposal installation and bathroom repairs. Always on time. Always perform work very well. This last time, Steven came to my house to install the sump pump, and I was going out of town for the weekend. I totally trusted him to be there while I was gone. They indicated that the coil was leaking and that it needed to be replaced at a cost of approximately $1500. When we explained that it was under warranty, they could replace it for $1000. We did not have them perform the replacement. We then called another provider, who came out and said that the coil could be repaired under warranty and the refrigerant refilled for a cost of a service call - $65. The A/C has been fine since the second provider repaired the coil.

We spent a great deal of time addressing all of your concerns and performed a comprehensive analysis of your A/C System, We found a leak, and as we are not a dealer of the warrantied equipment we could not get any labor reimbursement. According to our invoice, we informed you that it would be best to contact the installing company as their warranty would still apply to make any repairs/replacement more affordable. For the price you are stating, companies often inject a leak sealing fluid into newer A/C systems that form leaks. Any equipment manufacturer insists not do this as it does not mix well with refrigerants; causing early equipment failure. I apologize for your experience, but we hope the repair works well for you!
