Description of Work: We have always had a good experience with Stanley Steemer.

Description of Work: Thorough cleaning of carpets and upholstery in our rental apartment. Did an excellent job cleaning old, existing stains and discolorations using products that were safe for people with asthma and pets. Wonderful job.

Description of Work: We have used Stanley Steamer about 3 times in the past and always used a their Value Pak coupon to clean the same 3 rugs and furniture items. This time, they wanted to charge an extra $140 for the same 11 by 14 foot area rug they always did in the past for $25 or included it as a room. They said area rugs were extra this time and would not include it as a room for less money. The coupon said nothing about area rugs being extra nor not being considered a room. I was always happy with them in the past. They did a great job again as far as cleaning, professionalism, etc. My issue was with the pricing change and the misleading coupon. I doubt I will use them again due to this. The coupon was misleading and I feel that we overpaid this time for the area rug (which was not wool). The area rug was actually a remnant that cost less than the $140 they charged to clean it....Will try new company with less misleading coupons and up FRONT PRICING next time...

Description of Work: I had contacted Stanley Steemer to come in to check out the moldy basement walls that I had. Jesse the technician made an appt to come in Thursday morning. They were there promptly at the time the appt was for. Jesse came downstairs to look at the mold issue and gave me some good news that it wasn't that bad a mold issue. It wasn't in the drywall, just surface mold. He stated they could come in and clear the area of it contents, and do the cleanup. He suggested that we contact our insurance company to put in a claim for it. He said that he would provide me a estimate possibly by Saturday. Well that did not happen. I contacted them the following weekend with the business card info that Jesse had given me with his email address and phone number to call. I sent him a email and left a voicemail. No reply from either one.

Description of Work: This is an outstanding company. We had a very soiled, large sofa and a wing back chair that we wanted cleaned. They showed up on time, explained, in advance, what they could and could not do and proceeded to do a first class job. They offered certain additional services but did not high-pressure us into purchasing anything beyond what we originally wanted. When we need additional servis such as carpet cleaning Stanley Steemer will be our vendor of choice.
