First Paul came for the estimate; I was impressed that he responded to my e-mail through your site. Excellent and prompt. Workers Don and Jim arrived promptly, worked through the day; explained what they were doing and did an excellent job - I was very impressed. Would definitely recommend this company and employees I encountered to anyone.

Paul came out for the initial quote, and he was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. We had a small issue with my paperwork getting lost, but once I received the quote, the process to schedule the appointment was easy. Don, who did the work, was friendly and professional. He installed the generator switch first, and even created an adapter for my generator to make sure it would work correctly. He explained how it worked as well. He had to come back to finish the new outlets, but it was very quick and easy to set up another service call, and he was punctual and even made sure I was aware of the coupon on Angie's list when he was writing out my final bill. I would definitely recommend Mr. Sparky.

They came to house, gave estimate, agreed to do work; and I never saw them again. Made numerous calls, a different fello came out to the house... Never got back to us with the estimate. Too much time spent for naught.

It went extremely well! We would use these guys again in a heart beat. What I really appreciated was that when I called the electrical inspector, he was there the next day. There was literally nothing "we" had to do except pay- no getting away with that, DARN! Lol!! All joking aside they were great and as a very vulnerable housewife, they were terrific. Oh yeah, big points for Master Electric, they were wonderful with my "furry" kids- AKA dogs and cats. I don't think Herbie, our Beta fish was really phased.

Paul came to the house and explained the work required and gave an estimate but asked why I was doing it. I explained the inspector's demand. He looked over all the lighting and switches in the room & felt the pot lights were not a requirement. He said he would do them if I felt I wanted them, but that he was going to talk to the town electrical inspector as to the requirement. Paul spoke to the town electrical inspector and found that the code did not require the pot lights or sconces. He provided the information to me and saved me $1,000 I really could not afford. I have used their company before and was very pleased with the work they did but this was above & beyond anything I could expect. They are always courteous, professional and, as this demonstrates, thoroughly honest. I would highly recommend them.

I called Mr. Sparky first thing in the morning and Paul came right over at scheduled time. He troubleshot and repaired the immediate problem and also showed what caused it to occur. Problem was fixed on the spot and an estimated cost to replace my electrical service panel was provided via email later in the day. Saving up the money for that repair, hopefully before winter.

Simply put, the electricians showed up on time, were courteous and attentive and their work was outstanding. I had gotten several estimates from other licensed electricians and Master Electric was in the middle of the pack. Overall I would rate my experience with Master Electric as A+++ and I would recommend them to anyone.

It wasn't a simple job, he spent over an hour here. He was very good and very nice. I wouldn't hestitate to recommend him.

Excellent troubleshooting and quick repair. I called in the morning to get estimate, by 1 o'clock he was there and went right to work. Found the problem and had the parts in his van to complete the job. I thought the rate was very reasonable considering he had to install a new junction box, wires and outlets from the attic. Don was very knowledgable and helpful. No complaints, I would highly recommend and would use again if need be. I also received my Angie's list discount even though I failed to have the coupon printed!

They did an excellent job. They went out of their way to explain to me why I needed a new panel and all the details surrounding that. They cleaned up everything in the bathroom when that work was complete. They showed up when they said they would and finished the job up when they told me they would. I would definately use them again. They are my go-to electrician now.

Paul arrived on time and assessed the electrical panel that needed to be replaced. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything that needed to be done and was very kind. The quote was very good for all the work that had to be done. I would definitely recommend and hire Mister Sparky, I did not however end up purchasing the property so I was unable to hire him.

Excellent. Don arrived on time, was very pleasant and professional. Did an excellent job. Could have replaced an outlet myself, of course, but definitely would not have done as professional a job. Am glad I used this company instead of doing it myself.

He took a long time with the wiring then had to go to the store for the fire alarms. Since I had specifically stated what I needed when I booked the job, including the number of alarms needed, I was upset at paying for travel to & from the store when he should have brought them with him. I had asked for the alarms that respond to both smoke & heat but he installed only basic models of the cheapest kind. I will have to replace them all again. I was not satisfied. He brushed off my comments then took almost a full half hour to write the receipt, charging me for that time too. He itemized every nail n& screw! Totally unnecessary!

Called this company for 3 Jobs. They came when they said they would each time. The first time they installed an under-cabinet light in the kitchen. Second time , they installed a switch for the cellar laundry room upstairs. The third time the under- cabinet light was flickering and they determined that the problem was with the light and not the installation. The electrician called the store and talked to the salesperson and got a new light. There was no chrage for the phone call. My husband was able to install the new light parts. I would definitely callthem again.

I called and scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for a light switch in my kitchen where I currently do not have one. (My house is almost 100 years old.) I received a phone call the day before my appointment and the gentleman on the phone pitched a solution to me. I had to ask what company he was from and was surprised by his lack of professionalism. I will not be using this contractor since I was given an estimate without the contractor seeing the home.

The owner came over twice. I had 5 estimates scheduled due to the amount of work that I needed done ( house was build in 1957) Paul came right on time and spend an hour with me answering all my questions and and educating me. He had a very easy way to reroute the 150 ampe as compared to the other 4 estimates and he was reasonable. Then I did nothing for 3 months but purchased 3 books on the subject of wiring and educated myself somemore. Then I had Paul over again and asked addtional questions. We set up the work day 2 weeks later. 2 workers came right on time and they spent from 8:30 to 6:00 at my house. Then they came back the next day for 4 hours. Both men were knowlegable and worked good togather. Everything works fine and I am very happy with the company.

Overall project went well. Electricians were professional and knowledgeable. We were originally going to install a track light in kitchen but on inspection the electrician was able to install a recessed light instead which is what we originally wanted. Kitchen and bathrooms are much brighter, we are very pleased with the result.

We started experiencing gremlin-like electrical activity, from lights blinking off and on to washing machine powering up on it's own, on a Friday night. Well into the weekend we became aware that it all probably had to do with the 220 line and/or the air conditioner. Since we've never used an electrician before, and couldn't get any references, we joined Angie's List, checked them all out and picked Masters. We called them first thing Monday morning (they open early), they said they'd send someone out between 9:00 and 9:30 that day, and Don and Doug showed up at 9:15. Within 15 minutes they zeroed in on the ancient meter box that, when they opened it, was actually smoking. Since they qualified this as an emergency, they got right to work replacing it, and then doing a few other things necessary to get the house up to code (like install a hard-wired detector in the basement). They were pulling out of the driveway by 1:15 - wow! Then we got a call later on in the day to make sure everything was OK. This company did everything right - immediate response, expert knowledge, wonderful customer service. Will most definitely keep their number on file in case we ever need them again. By the way - it appears the computer in the washing machine got fried with all the power surges. Had no idea that these newer machines should be plugged into surge protectors or unplugged when not in use - bummer.

Had company rewire gutted bathroom and add exhaust fan. Technician and apprentice showed up. Apprentice seemed more on the ball and concerned about doing things correctly than tech. If I wasn't there to constantly ask questions this guy would have cut corners at every chance. To top it off he put the boxes to deep in wall. Could not put covers on electrical boxes. Called company to have someone come look and set up appointment. Owner would not even take call saying it was somehow my fault and they would look but charge me a service call. Poor secretary had to listen to complaints until they sent there top guy out who admitted it was company fault and apologized for treatment. Inspector failed job because outlets were not tamper proof. He called company to fix and they still have not replaced. For $1000.00 job very poor customer service . Good salesman bad after sale.

Technicians arrived on time to upgrade service from 60 to 100 amps and replace 3 old panels with one new panel. They completed all the work in one day, including several fixture and outlet replacements. Very personable and efficient. The owner is also a very pleasant person to deal with and came over afterward to make sure everything was perfect.

Arrived early. Completed the job with minimal inconvenience to us. Our retired electrician friend saw the work and pronounced it flawless.
