We'd had a small electrical fire when water got in the feeder, it shorted to the foundation, and the electric co. came and shut off our power. When I called Master Electric Co. (AKA Mr. Sparky), the receptionist (Joan) was very professional and got right to work finding a tech to come give us an estimate. The tech (Paul) came straight from a doctor's appointment to make sure someone got to us before the end of the day. Then they rearranged their job schedule to make sure they could get our work done the next day and get our power back on. They said they would arrive at 8:00 AM and they were on time to the second. The techs didn't even stop for lunch and the work was done by that afternoon. They even took what money we had up front and billed us the rest. I'm a customer for life.

I joined Angie's List after I remembered a commercial I had seen on TV. In under five minutes I was talking to an electrician who analyzed the problem, told me what would have to be done and set up an appointment for the following day. To my amazement, he also told me of the after hours rates before he went any further so there would be no surprises! The next day, sure enough they arrived on time (actually a bit earlier than expected...which is always a good thing) and proceeded to complete the job in the exact time quoted. Their technician was extremely professional and courteous and did a wonderful job of telling me exactly what I needed to do when the work was finished (inspection, having NYSEG come out to do their part and doing the final step of their work). All during this process, the company had to keep myself, my partner and my renters up to date on how the job was progressing. Considering we were all calling out of concern constantly, the patience he showed us was amazing! Not only did he field all of our calls but he remained professional and courteous the entire day. I highly recommend this company for honest, professional and on time electrical work and should any type of problem occur on my house again, I would not at all hesitate to call them for help! I highly recommend this company for any electrical work and the guarantee that all work will be completed quickly and correctly. I can honestly say that is a rarity in home improvement/repair companies that I have dealt with in the past! THANKS MASTER ELECTRIC...YOU ALL ROCK!!!

This was the second company I called. They first made an appointment that he did not keep, causing me a great deal of inconvenience. The professional I talked to over the telephone made some good suggestions to help save me money. Chris, the electrician who did our work, was running late and called to alert us to that fact. He was extremely professional and courteous while he was here. He accidentally broke a bulb and deducted money from our bill to cover that expense.

I called another electrical company first with the same problem as described above a job that should have cost somewhere in the neighborhood of 1000.00 this other company began telling me I needed all this other work done which had nothing to do with my problem they told me the cost would be 10,000 dollars. I refused to have them do the work. Master electric did the job for 950.00, very honest and very professional.

They were very good. I need to follow up with them because I didn't get a rebate of a couple hundred dollars and I was supposed to call them and didn't. I would hire them again.

I think they gave me a very reasonable price and did a great job for me. They were helpful and answered all my questions. I was glad they came when they said they would and were finished quickly.

They owners came out the night before the work was scheduled to be done and explained to me everything that was going to be done in great detail. They did the work very quickly and we haven't had any problems.

I was very satisfied with ECC Electrical Construction. They did an excellent job on my fixtures. They arrived on time and stuck to the timeframe. I was pleasantly surprised that they even cleaned my ceiling, so it would be free of fingerprints.
