At this time, I imagine that you have found someone to do the work but if you can please message me or call me at your convenience, to give me some info on when you called, I would love to try to find a way to find out what went wrong and to see if there is a way we can make it up to you. With the beginning of summer ramping up at that time, I admittedly could have had some calls slip through the cracks. Thanks again for any more time you may put into this matter.

Description of Work: Provider did a great job on a small bathroom repair and I hired him to clean my gutters in the fall. My neighbor complained about the gutter in her driveway and I requested the handyman to return and we set up a date and time, however he did not show up. I ended up hiring The Gutter King to fix the problem.

Description of Work: Returned initial call promptly. Came to inspect roof leak. Deferred to another staff member to inspect. Staff member arrived days later. Quoted $150 to patch leak. Inspected other problem areas. Referred back to owner for quote. Quote never received. Two phone calls never returned. Disappeared. Doesn't bode well for service after the fact. Sad

Customer was notified of booked up schedule. Was told that an estimate would come if we were able to do the work. Unfortunately, our scheduling did not permit us to take on new work at the time. If there were calls made to check on status that went unreturned, I sincerely apologize as we had some family concerns over the past month. Although this work is something we cannot take on until Spring, we would love to be considered for the work although I understand your hesitancy in this situation. This mistake was definitely due to a lack of communication on my part during a very stressful time. Full apologies.- Louis Gott owner

Description of Work: My tenant called me and said that my his closet was leaking. I was away on military duty so I looked on Angie's list and found Louis Gott. Mr Gott sent his guys over first thing in the morning to inspect the roof. He basically said my roof was shot and had to be replaced. He did the best temporary repair he could of done. The roof no longer leaks but his professional opinion was that at least the right side of the roof had to be replaced before the winter or he was worried there would be more damage. So I told him to whip up some numbers to do the whole roof. I liked the number and soon I'll be leaving him a review for the entire roof job.

Description of Work: The cleaned the gutters as well as checking them to make sure they were firmly attached to the house -- as a couple of the gutters on the back of the house were almost completely detached. They also did a quick review of the roof on our extension, and made a few suggestions. All in all, they did do a good job.

Description of Work: Windows by Sonic Blinds installed vertical blinds in our living room and great room. We previously (for many years) had 84" x 120" drapes with a large valance in our living room and great room. We thought it would take some time to get used to the verticals, but it was love at first sight. We give Sonic Blind an "A" across the board.

Description of Work: I went with them due to the deal they were running here on Angie's a List . Once I purchased the service they emailed me to confirm the job and called when they were at my house . It was late in the season and were in the neighborhood I would have preferred to know exactly when they were coming but overall was pleased with the work.

Very professional, excellent quality of work. The large team got started early, and cleaned up well at the end of each day. The work was very well done down to the smallest detail, and it looks great.

When I purchased my new home, I knew the roof needed some real work. The 40-year-old asphalt shingles were laid over the original slate, and were visibly deteriorating. Both realtors collected estimates, and Joe's was the best by far. When I finally moved in nearly 3 months later and called Joe, he didn't hassle me about the age of the estimate and immediately got me on his calendar, even apologizing that he was backed up and it would be a few weeks before he could do the work. The next thing I knew, Joe called and said he would be ready to start in a week and he wanted to come by to meet me and discuss my needs. He walked me around the neighborhood to show me different styles and pointed out quality marks. He also re-checked my house and even gave me some free advice about a potential problem with my porch! Perhaps the best news was that when I said I was interested in re-roofing my Florida room, he encouraged me not to, saying that the roof had plenty of life left in it. He also contacted all my neighbors to be sure they knew about the work and were ok with equipment being on their property as houses are very close together in my neighborhood. When the day arrived, Joe showed up with a whole crew of guys and introduced me to the site manager. The work was done in 2 days - I couldn't believe it! They cleaned up everything and my roof - and new gutters - look great, and nothing was damaged. Joe even threw in a new roof on my bay window for free. I have a few indoor tasks that need to be taken care of, and I will certainly be calling Joe come winter.

1) Very accurate estimate for time/materials/scheduling 2) All aspects of the project were well explained and carried out as expected 3) On-site company owner (Joe) and foreman (Danny) very professional each day - and at end of day everything was ship-shape (no dumpsters, no junk, no problems) 4) Materials used were all first-rate (copper, galvanized steel, 50 year shingles, grade A cedar). 5) When project was completed, I was completely thrilled with the entire experience. I sure do like having quality work done at reasonable prices.
Description of Work: Complete tear-off of 100 year old roof (original cedar plus three layers). Entire roof needed to be decked, then shingled with 50 year architecturals... Chimney repointed, new galvanized downspout, new cedar on all four dormers, plus some copper flashing on entranceway.

Excellent job - very professional and truly talented. They totally recreated denta wood trim so as to match the original where it was needed.
Description of Work: Compete tear off and new roof. Additional work was needed - carpentry on the facia, including totally rebuilding parts of the eaves, etc.
