Ok roof looks good but wrong color. Deck looks nice but left opening on side .when asked to close area inform they did not figureit into price asked to complete it , but never completed.

Two men showed up as promised and both went to work on our roof cleaning the gutters. They did a very neat and professional job and even left me a tube of caulking for future use to seal up gutters seams as needed. This $75 job was an Angie promo which I was very happy to use. I do hope that it will be repeated again later this season.

Called the gentleman was very polite. However I was told that he would not be able to clean the gutters for three months due to other commitments. They really should remove their gutter cleaning special add, as it was a waste of time doing the research.

The work was fine. He didn't get to me in a while but the service was fine. I can't see anything stood out negatively, it took him a while to get there, we emailed a couple of times but it was fine. It was very adequate.

Service was done on schedule and the cost was what was agreed to beforehand. No mess was left behind. You could not tell a repair was done - the window looked exactly like it did before. Although the price was higher than I would have expected for a job of this type, I was willing to pay for quality work, which I received.

Excellent job done. Would definitely hire again!

The cleanout went fine. They removed a lot of debris from the gutters and inspected the roof. However, I'm nearly certain the downspout flush didn't get done. I subsequently discovered one of my downspouts is rotted through, and come winter I've had no improvement in drainage through the downspouts which would've lessened the amount of ice buildup in the gutter system.

He said he doesn't come to my area even though we are only about 20 minutes apart. He also said he couldn't come out because of the weather even though I purchased it way before the weather got bad.

When they came out, it turned out that I have gutter guards, so I did not need the service. They did not come until December. The two guys that came out were fine. It is the company that I have not heard from. The price was fine. I did not have anything done. They were polite. I do not know if I would use them again.

He will not come back to this area - too far from his home base. They arrived on time, but I don't believe they flushed the downspouts or checked the roof - as was part of the deal. It was a break in the weather, very cold.

Went great!!! The owner arrived at 9am for the estimate and the work was done by 11am

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. They were very timely as far as getting back to me and scheduling the job. They did an excellent job and they told me there was a little something else I needed to get done so I did. It was not too expensive so I am very happy with them.

Cleaned gutters and roof inspection. They pointed out a couple things that need to be corrected that were done during a recent roof/gutter replacement. The guys were on time and friendly. I would consider hiring again and calling home handyman services if the work needing to be done is not covered by the company that did my roof/gutters in the fall.

They were excellent! He worked in the middle of a rainstorm. He was very courteous and prompt and was in and out quickly.

After filling out their required forms, Angie's List told me I would be reimbursed for the $75 they took up front from my credit card, but I'm still waiting for them to reimburse me. I won't respond to any more of Angie's List special offers until I get this matter cleared up.

I bought this service from Angie's List on August 2 (order # 797918). I received no contact from the service provider. I called him in Sept and he said he was waiting for more gutter cleaning jobs in my area. I have complained to Angie's list several time--online, by telephone, in emails. I have not received any response from Angie's list. The first big snow fell today, Nov 27. The gutters still have not been cleaned.

I called HHS on a Thursday afternoon to tell him that a contractor at my home had discovered - and showed me - that the trim on the front of my Dutch colonial (the second story) was hanging on by a thread and could come crashing down at any moment. Louis from HHS came out within a few hours to check on the situation. He got a crew out to my home on Sunday (because my house was scheduled to be painted on Monday) and spent the morning/afternoon fixing the dangerous problem and taklng care of some nagging problems I had been putting off. Gutter cleaning (a real pain on Dutch colonials because of the two sets of eaves), and the chimney because the guys who had replaced the roof two years ago never flashed, etc. the chimney (I didn't use Angie's list back then :( ). Okay - now for my conclusion. This is the second time I've worked with HHS and they just keep getting better. Can you imagine a guy coming out on Sunday so that I could keep the timetable with my house painting? Incredible. Call HHS.

I rec'd a very prompt e-mail from the provider after I bought the voucher. I gave them 2 days that were good for me. They said they wanted to get me done that week and asked for my phone number so they could call me to set up a date. I gave my number and waited. 2 days later my husband calls me at work and asks whats going on, there are men on the roof! They did not call me. They did not knock on the door when they got here. They did not leave any paperwork about what they did. They did tell my husband that there were some loose bricks in the chimney that need to be fixed. If my husband wasn't home I would never have know that they were here! Was it a good price? yes. Was the job done? I'm pretty sure. Would I hire them again? Probably not. October 2014. I had this service done last fall. Well, now I'm trying to sell my house and they buyers are saying that the roof has problems. I called Home Handyman Services, who had previously said my roof was in good condition, to do another inspection. Not only did they do it at the same price as last fall, but they were very easy to deal with. They sent someone out and did the inspection and left me paperwork for my real estate agent. I was much happier this time around and am glad I was able to use them again.

They did a good job and had to come twice. It was a tricky fix so they had to come back and were able to fix it.

I am unable to climb ladders so I am unable to check the work. HOWEVER, on the most recent heavy rain the water was pouring over the top of the gutter on the front of the house above the picture window. On a previous heavy rain, the water was pouring out at the top of the southeast downspout. I have very recent pictures taken during a heavy rain and they show the front gutter overflowing! If there is any way that I could attach these pictures I would gladly do so. I hope that somebody can check the work since I can't climb a ladder. And I hope that the service is not recommended to anyone else with someone checking my gutters.

I purchased a Big Deal for gutter cleaning with this provider. He apologized for the delay with setting my appointment. He came out and done the work.

The provider was prompt and courteous but the B grade is for the disappointment that this was advertised as a promotion for the Alden area which wasn't the case. The fault may not have been the provider's.

I called the owner Joe and explained to him that I needed an estimate. I let him know that I had dealt with several companies and that I had someone that I had given the job to but he never produced a work order on his letter head which was need by the bank. Joe came out two days later and wrote everything up. Prior to Joe coming I had joined Angie's List and called the Better Business Bureau to check out this company ( this company has an A+ rating). Joe's crew came out after everything was finalized and began to work on the day and time he said they would. It took two complete days and each evening they left you would never know that they had been working on my home. Everyone was professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

It turned out quite good actually. They did something extra because I asked them to do. They are very professional. They cleaned up well and I would use them again.
