CertaPro Painters® of WNY

We hired CertaPro to do a full paint job of our house before we moved in and couldn't be happier; they did trim/walls/ceiling in every room. They filled in every nail hole and ding in the walls, sanding the drywall to make everything look smooth. It looks great and we would hire them again.

I moved into a home with very dated finishes. Certapro painted the walls, woodwork and windows. I couldn't have been happier with results and they cleaned up spotlessly.

Very pleasant experience- from estimate appt. to job completion. Ceiling looks great, and Ken was professional and thorough.

Brandon was the lead on our project. We had our exterior vinyl home painted. CertaPro could not have been more professional . They showed up first thing the morning they started. They went over every detail with me. Anytime something came up, they brought it to my attention so I could approve. They finished my 2000 sq ft house in 2.5 days, did a final walk through and left paint for touch up. Brandon and his team went above and beyond. The final result was beautiful. It looks like a new house. I will absolutely use them for future projects and would highly recommend.

The CertaPro Team from Sales (Stephen Zasucha) office (Emily Blackwell) and the on-site work crew were nothing but SENSATIONAL!!!!! Everyone was helpful....no pressure sales...Stephen worked very hard in getting the Sherwin Williams rep to get the paint color to match a building that we saw.....Emily did everything she could to get us on the schedule before the street crews were about to install water lines on our road!!! She kept me up to date as to exactly when the crew was coming, which actually turned out earlier than planned....Your onsite crew was incredible, courteous, and did a great job on the painting. They truly take pride in their work and cleaned up after the work was done. My wife and I are entirely pleased with the new color of our house!!! I highly recommend CertaPro of WNY to anyone that asks for this type work. Also, please let Stephen and Emily know that if they ever need a reference, to please call my cell anytime!!!! Everything went well. The painters were conscientious and protected our new patio and walkway. The job was done in less time than was anticipated.

Even though the reviews were dated, they were positive so I gave them a call and could not have been happier with the whole process. I received a call right back and made an appointment for an estimate. They showed up on time and gave me a competitive prices. The guys doing the painting showed exactly at the time I expected and their work was solid. At any point in the process, I could call and get updates and answers from the office. I had such a great experience from this company.

They did the work, a decent job and even put on extra paint where the wood shingles were very worn on the house. They had missed a couple of places on the pressure washing, but when pointed out they corrected the problem. All in all, they did a good job and we would use them again.

Pleasant workers. Covered everything. I had to remind them of some of the items that were to be painted such as interior of closets and baseboard heaters. Some paint on trim.

One side of the (small) house was more weathered then the others - they should have put more effort into that side. Unfortunately, it soon became obvious to me that they had scraped as little as possible and spray-painted as fast as possible. Disappointing. I've had their touch up crew out twice to redo areas that the first crew either missed completely or did not scrape before painting. (Trust me - I'm not being overly picky - I could easily remove the paint from spots they failed to scrape before spraying by just using my finger.) This weekend, I had to paint a second coat over some areas the touch up crew came back and worked on. (Their first coat had not yet dried when they left - so the second coat was up to me.) I am concerned that some areas will not hold up over even one winter. They have a 2 year warranty and I hope to heaven they will honor it.

They were not that responsive, and was not here when he was supposed to be. The weather was not that great in February though here in New York. With professionalism he was very good. The one thing is why would they come up with a different quote after the initial price they gave me.

GREAT SERVICE. EVERYTHING WENT EXACTLY AS PLANNED

After nearly two months of wasted time, one visit and many phone and email conversations, we were told that our job could not go forward. This is enormously frustrating. We could have been informed at the outset that our physical presence was required at the time of service. We disclosed this from the beginning.

No issues or concerns. Area was protected against paint splattering, dripping.

The whole job was unsatisfactory. Had to take several days off of work to ensure that the job was completed. There were drips everywhere. Areas that were painted not covered thoroughly-old color showing through. Chunks of dry paint on the trim. This was a brand new door and trim that needed to be painted. A child could have been done better. The company owner said that he wished he had known that we wanted a "perfect" job-he would have charged more. The whole point of hiring a professional is to get a "professional" job-otherwise I would have done it myself!

I got what I wanted. I worked with the crew to make sure the colors went on where they were supposed to, and the job started and ended when they said. They also worked with me to schedule work to follow after my roofers, and that helped a lot. Nice group of guys too, Very satisfied. This is my 2nd experience with CertaPro, both good experiences.

They were very professional through the entire process. They even provided a color consultant and paint samples. They employ several painters so the job was completed quickly and they cleaned up when they finished. I love how my house looks.

Did a good job with stain which was done at there site, some paint on trim work after they painted walls. Did not do the baseboard heat as requested and had to have them complete that before they left. They were already cleaning up when I had to tell them to finish the registers cleaned up in basement and I just happened to go down to show one of them where to put the paint and another worker was in some of our personal stuff. He quickly got out when he saw me. Friendly and clean overall. Did not give me the old paint I gave for matching which I had requested. Have to make several calls and stay on top of the job.

Very happy with the end result. The workers did a great job and kept the work site very clean.

CertaPro removed popcorn from my master bedroom and painted ceiling, master bedroom and bathroom. They did a great job. The guys were courteous, neat and professional. They did a job for me a couple of years ago and I was so happy with their work I immediately called them when I had another job to do. I highly recommend them and I will definitely call them again when I need painting done at my home.

We were satisfied with the job they did. The guys who came out were really good. The one guy was better than the other guy. They were lower than everybody else on pricing. They did a good job. I had to point out some spots that needed to be done over or whatever. But overall, they did a good job.

We have an English tutor so we didn't want to go with the traditional brown and white and so we went with the green crest and brown and it looks really great.

A good experience. Very professional. When a couple of small issues developed these were promptly addressed and resolved to our complete satisfaction. Since there is always room for improvement, here are a couple of suggestions. First, the very complete contract was printed in blue typeand was very hard for me to read. I assume they are trying to make it hard to copy the contract, but it also makes it hard for the customer to see what the contract says. Black print would be a lot more customer friendly. There was a difference between what was agreed with the estimator and what the contract said. It was a small detail and this was resolved to our satisfaction.

Overall the company was a pleasure to work with. The salesman dealt with my wife and was very professional and completed the quote on site. The turn around from the completion of the quote to the start of the job was about a week which was nice because we wanted it done ASAP. The painters arrived on time and were polite, they completed the entire job in 2 days and did great work. Their were a few minor errors (i.e. a few brush marks on the trim, 2 missed spots in tight areas, and light splatter marks on the tub) but we called the company to let them know and the person we spoke with was polite and receptive to our complaints. They had someone out the next day to correct all of the problems, no arguments or issues. I would certainly recommend them for paint jobs.
