Carpet Star

I got an appointment within a few days of calling. Bradley and Justin arrived right on time. They even called first to let me know they were on their way. They explained the equipment to be used and the process. Bradley inspected the carpets then got to work. The living room berber carpet was looking very worn from being crushed down by foot-traffic and was quite dark in spots. Bradley and Justin went over the trouble spots with extra care and my carpet looks like new! They spent extra attention on the pet-accident area and it does not even smell any more. The rooms were all dried out by the following day.

Carpet Star was great! I thought the appt was for Tuesday, but they had me down for Monday. I really needed the carpeting done before Wednesday because I had new furniture that was being delivered. They were able to come on Tuesday after finishing another job even though it was 8:00 pm.

I can't say enough about Brad. He fit me in on a day when he was booked solid, and came over and did an excellent job on my carpet. I would hire him again in a second

Bradley and his employee did an excellent job on all the rugs. I was not sure that some of the bad spot would come out, but they all did. I was very pleased with their work. Both were very polite and pleasant. I will use Carpet Star in the future.

Excellent ! Brad is very professional and has a great personality. He did a wonderful job. He removed nail polish which I didn't think could be done.

Brad explained the process, the ingredients he used for each phase, as he cleaned each piece. He also took off ugly stuff from my hardwood floor and told me what to use to finish the restoration. He also cleaned a small rug on which the cushions had rested. The final steps were to Scotch Gard the cushions and spray a deodorizer on the entire couch Today my couch is just like new again. I am very pleased with the work and the manners of this hardworking and caring young man. He is an A+ worker doing an A+ job and I highly recommend him.

I have had rugs cleaned for the past 35 years. Bradley and Jason from Carpet Star did the best job in cleaning, stretching and being professional than I have ever experienced. Their price was so reasonable as well. I will definitely be using them for all my carpet cleaning needs going forward.

They were two hours late for the appointment and showed absolutely no respect for our home. The tracked snow into the house on their boots and hoses even though the driveway and walkway were bare concrete. Fortunately, we had put down heavy brown paper to protect our floors but when the water was soaking through the paper and I expressed concern (as I was trying to mop it up with towels), I was told "It's just snow" "It won't hurt anything". I had expressly informed Bradley that we had new hardwood floors. Then, the equipment didn't work. They hooked up a hose to our kitchen sink to use our hot water to try to thaw the pump. At one point, Bradley was actually trying to physically blow the ice out of the hose into our kitchen sink. He told us that we were lucky that they came given the weather. Yes, it was cold -- around 30 degrees. It had snowed overnight (less than 2 inches) but it was not snowing that day. Can you imagine taking time off work, moving all of your furniture out of the rooms only to have the carpet cleaner cancel due to weather? This is WNY! I had no idea carpet cleaning was a seasonal business. They never did get the machine to work and they were going to leave to go to a mechanic -- after already pre-treating our carpets with no idea of when or even if they would be back. Only after my husband disagreed with that plan, did Bradley call someone else to come with another truck. After the carpets were cleaned (and not very well I might add), Bradley told us we could move furniture back in the rooms in 2 hours. Those carpets were very wet after 2 hours and actually didn't dry until almost a full 24 hours later. I would not recommend Carpet Star at all unless you are looking for someone who is unprofessional, unreliable and disrespectful.

The carpet looks fantastic. It looks better than it ever did. The carpet stretcher, I think his name was Sammy, did a very thorough and professional job. He took his time and did the job right. Afterwards, the owner (I believe) cleaned the carpet, very thoroughly as well. He even showed me how the pressure cleaning works. I would recommend this company.

Brad and Sammy did a great job my carpet. I had several raised areas for quite a while, but they were able to flatten them and when cleaned, the carpet looked brand new. They also cleaned the throw rugs in my hallway and they look great, too! I've already recommended them to family and friends.

Bradley and Sam were exceptional. According to my mother, they arrived early and spent time with our rescue dog (Brad I understand is a fan of dogs). They also took their time with our carpet, we only have the one room, however it's an old rug that has seen it's share of abuse. Between kids, and pets it was in pretty sorry shape. Now it looks almost new, old stains and spots are completely gone. It has a color now as it's been said that dirty is not a color. The house smells a 1000 times better and the room looks brighter, cleaner. The service was provided with professionalize and with good old fashioned Buffalo flare, Mom said it was like having 2 long lost relatives in the house they were so friendly. They really took the time to get to know her and made her feel comfortable while they did their work. They even went as far as to fix my mother sofa (again gotta love them pets). She is very please with service they provided. I would highly recommend them for your household or professional carpet service. We are proud to support our local small businesses and have over the last couple found amazing companies like this one through Angies List. Thank you Bradley and Sam....the carpet looks awesome!!

Carpet Star returned my initial call quickly and scheduled a service date immediately. Bradly arrived on time and repaired the carpet to near perfection. Following the repair he did an excellent job cleaning 3 rooms and removing several stains. I highly recommend Carpet Star

Brad did a great job. He pre-treated some spots on the carpet and did a thorough cleaning. Carpet looks like new!

I believed Brad was knowledgeable and gave good advice. He did call, but he showed up more than 1hr later than scheduled time. The carpets looked clean and freshened. This result was tainted by the fact that the carpeting cleaning solution was all over my walls, doors and wood work. It required me to wash everything down. Finally, my end tables and small pieces of furniture were placed directly on my bedspread with asking for my approval. Brad left with the furniture still on my bed. I will take responsibility for not going back upstairs to check on this, but I was surprised that my home was not left the way Brad found it.

They were supposed to repair my carpet. It looked nice until it had dried and then i noticed the burn marks again.One tear(separation) appeared worse. Cleaning was fine.

Amazing!!! Fast, very friendly, professional, would differently recommend Brad to my family and friends. Called him at 11:00am he has at the house at 1:30pm. Now that's fast!!!!

Brad is professional, personable and reasonable. The rug was stained when tea was spilled on it and it looked bad. He explained everything as he worked. Would positively use him again.

We had a rough start with Brad being very late to give me an estimate as another appt he had ran late, so I was unable to meet with him after waiting. However he made up for it the next day by working around my schedule to meet with me. His price was very fair, he did 2 large bedrooms, a hallway, stairs and living room/dining room for that price. He was honest about what he could fix, and he did a great job-carpets looked like new once he was done. I have recommended him to friends and would use his services again.

Carpet Star arrived on time ( even a little early). Cleaned the carpets and baseboard with a truck mounted cleaning machine, Brad showed the suction power of his equipment and explained the advantages to the truck mount system. I have used many different carpet cleaning contractors in the past, who as I have watched skim the carpet once and move on. The impressive part of Carpet Star was he stayed with an area on the carpet and worked it until it was clean before he moved on. The carpets look great and days later the dirty spots never reappeared. .

Brad was very personable, spent the time needed. He did a great job cleaning and re-stretching the carpet. I thought the carpet had to be replaced but it looked new when he was finished.

Brad is a super-hard worker and takes pride in his work. He answers his phone personally without fail and tries to fit everyone into his schedule. Subsequently, he overbooks himself and runs late. He was a couple hours late for our scheduled time (which he called me to inform me), and, although I had hoped to have a sectional, a couch and a loveseat cleaned, it was clear that he wouldn't have time. But this speaks to the quality of his work - he won't do a slip-shod job. He also seems to have a hard time keeping reliable help, and as a result, needed me to help him (I have never had a carpet cleaner ask me for assistance before). I had to stand on the corner of the rugs so they weren't sucked up by the vacuum. He also asked me to help him move furniture in the bedroom (although, he mostly managed that himself). But the rugs looked pristine when he was finished, and the carpet looked great too (considering that it was older cream berber that hadn't been cleaned in three years)!
