Carpet Star

The carpets look brand new. Two of them were a very light color so the stains and grime were very significantly noticeable, With persistence these carpets came out to look so good. Both workers were knowledgeable and diligent in their work. For a small company they performed outstanding service!! The owner was one of those workers and he took great pride in his work. They were able to accommodate my job of doing the upholstery also that was not on the schedule. The clean smell of the projects still remain after two days.

I was very pleased with the carpet cleaning. Brad and Justin worked hard and did a thorough job. I wasn't sure they would be able to get my basement steps clean but they did! They were very friendly and polite - even swept my kitchen floor. They made every effort to be sure I was happy with their work.

Bradley (owner) and Justin, his associate, were very thorough and professional. Bradley came and gave us the estimate which was extremely fair. The job was scheduled and they arrived on time. They are extremely hard workers and take pride in their work. They were at the house from 10 am to about 8:15 pm, working almost non-stop. They did 7 rooms (5 plus one double sized room, 7 total). The carpet is about 12 years old and the original installation was shoddy and not done properly. Every room had many ripples, some severe. Bradley indicated that he could fix it and make it look almost like new. He kept his word. The carpet now looks great, even though it is 12 years old. It is now flat and smooth. We had some large bumps in the carpet where it stretched and he removed a lot of excess carpet. His cleaning process is very effective. We recently had carpeting cleaned at another house by a different company. Bradley's work was far superior to the work of the other company. Our carpets look great. I should note that at one time we had three cats. We had some pet stains which were old. Most came out, a couple are greatly improved and not at all noticeable. In short, I would recommend Carpet Star without reservation to anyone. They don't work miracles, but they come close. They try to please the customer and they are pleasant, professional and extremely hard working. We were so pleased with the job, we paid them extra!

I was very disappointed with this company. We hired them because of the reviews on Angie's List. I spoke to him numerous times before service was performed. Had to describe what I wanted done over the phone.First estimate was much lower than actual amount billed. I explained we would be away and a relative would be letting him in. I texted him 2 different phone numbers to contact the relative the day he was coming. Then that morning while on vacation, I received a text that he was coming. I had to text back to say we were away and he had the numbers for the correct person to contact. Then after he was done and had already been paid for services, which again was more than he had quoted, he called back to say he had forgotten to charge us for cleaning the furniture!? So a few days later we returned home from our trip to find 10-15 nicks in the paint on our trim throughout the house! Trim we had paid someone to do! One spot was at least 8 inches long, and another about 6"! So now we have to pay someone to come back and redo what was already done and paid for once. I would not recommend hiring this company!

Great job! Very professional. Took pride in their work. I'm sure my carpets have never been cleaned as thoroughly. No one has ever taken the time these guys did. I'm very pleased.

Bradley was professional and knowledgeable. He was late, but kept me informed about his expected arrival time. He is customer-oriented and worked hard to ensure that the whole process was done to my satisfaction.

Bradley came with Justin. Very pleasant, courteous and professional. Took great care and pride in their work. Would not leave until they were sure I was satisfied. Going forward, I wouldn't call anyone else for these services !

Bradley was the most friendly and outgoing young man that I have ever met. He was so helpful and working till all hours to help me get what I needed to dry out my basement and get the carpet reinstalled as well as offering suggestions on options and he was not interested in taking any money till everything was done to my satisfaction. Need more men like this in the business world. Everything was dried out and put back to normal in a matter of days. I couldn't have been happier, I will call him again for any carpet or flooring installations and won't look any further.

The owner, Bradley, returned my call within a short period of time and said he actually had time later that same day. He gave me a time that he could be there and was actually able to get to my home almost an hour sooner than expected. The gentlemen that works with Brad was a smoker and walked in my door smelling of smoke. When they were done with the carpet the stains appeared to have been gotten out, but once dried, they were still there. (I've had this issue before and my regular carpet cleaner has always been able to get the stain out.). They cleaned a chair for me and came out pretty well. My biggest compliment and why I would never hire this company again is because of the owners total lack of professionalism. From the moment he walked in the door he talked about his workers and they problems he's had with them; one of them apparently did some work at his house and now thinks he's rich because of how he lives, about how much his equipment, truck, etc costs him; and this type of conversation went on for the entire time he was here. His comments are totally out of place and show a total lack of immaturity for a business owner.

Bradley called as promised 1 hour before expected arrival time. He explained the process and he and his worker did a very thorough job. They even cleaned inside of closets and moved furniture. Bradley even glued down some vinyl flooring for me at no extra charge. He prides himself in his customer service and it shows. i would definitely recommend this company.

The cleaning itself was very good. However my outdoor faucet was broken, and I had to call my plumber to fix it. They charged me only $100 as a result.

Brad Gurecki owner of Carpet Star cleaned our family room, living room, stairs, hallway, 3 couches, and 2 area rugs for $335 total. Our carpets and couches look beautiful!!!! Brad and his assistant spent 3 hours cleaning our rugs, while pre-treating every room that had juice and food stains, mud, grease, and ground in dust and dirt. They were very respectful, hard working young men, and we intend to use his service from now on. We also took his business cards to give them to family, neighbors and coworkers, which I would never do unless I was completely satisfied with the quality of the work.

They were late and when I called they gave me one story for their lateness, when they called me back they gave me another story, and upon arrival gave me a third story. The one guy did all the work, while the other tried to chat with me for the whole time. They also charged me more than they quoted and tried to tell me they could give me that discount if I paid in cash.

Brad and his employee did a great job! Worked hard to get my carpet clean....got out a few stains and did not try to sell me extra services. It was amazing how much better my carpet looked when they were done. They had a little problem that day and were running late, but called and kept me informed when they would arrive. Very courteous and hard workers. I would hire again.

In this ever-increasing cynical and sarcastic world, where "good enough" seems to be more the rule than exception, I found Brad and Carpet Star to not only be professional, punctual and personable, their work exceeded my expectations. Moved furniture I found impossible to move, stayed focused on the job, even let my dog out when I left for two hours. Brad is a young man you can trust. I was so happy w his work that I requested a bunch of his business cards not only to help him, but help my friends and family when they need their own carpets cleaned. A job well done!

Brad with Carpet Star is A++! He's professional, extremely courteous, and really cared about making sure the job was done right. My area rugs and chair looked brand new. I'll definitely hire Carpet Star again. I highly recommend Brad and his team!

This was by far the best rug cleaning service I have ever used. Others are not exaggerating when they say he makes your rugs look like new. Brad is meticulous, polite, and very proud of his work. I will never again use any other company.

Brad and his helper were great! They cleaned our carpets after suffering with construction dust, they also cleaned a couple of our large rugs and our upholstered couches. All look beautiful and they couldn't have been more nicer. They actually cleaned a couple of throw rugs that I hadn't even requested, super PR! Thoroughly enjoyed having them in my home. Yes, I will defintiely hire these guys again.

It went great. The guys showed up, assessed the situation and went right to work. I couldn't believe how much better the carpet looked after only a short amount of time. I would definitely use Carpet Star again and would highly recommend them!

They arrived on time, spent extra time installing a new transition strip I had from the cleaned carpet to the Pergo flooring in the next room, which wasn't even in the original deal. He didn't charge me any extra for that. After they steam cleaned the carpet I was absolutely amazed! The carpet looked like it had just been installed new. The cats stains (and smell) were completely gone! I ABSOLUTELY plan on calling Brad in the future to clean and fix bubbles on some more carpets, and I may even be hiring him to install another hardwood floor in the future. I chose his service because of all the positive reviews he has, and I was not disappointed.
