They are a very established company and have been around for quite a while. They have a great history with a good reputation and that was very important to me. They were very professional and went above and beyond! They had one person initially come and scope the job out and then they sent a crew out to complete the work. They even gave you quite a variety of glass block to choose from the texture to the insulation. They were very neat and clean. They completed the job in one day and cleaned up very well after the work was complete. They arrived and finished the job on time. Everything turned out exceptional!

We hired them for the work after finding them on Angie’s List. We received an estimate from one other company. Buffalo Glass Block Company came in at a lower cost and was able to start the job sooner. He did a wonderful job and was very professional. Initially, one of the windows he had brought had been made the wrong size. He had already torn out the old ones and made sure they had a window that fit that same day. They did a great job with the work!

I have used their services before in the past and everything turned out fine. Their price is competitive to others. They completed the job in day and cleaned up well.

Called 3 weeks ago to make an appointment for a specific day. Woman who answered was porky and had attitude that my business was not needed. So they got what they wanted...I went elsewhere!

When i called the first time a guy answered and gave me a ballpark price on my 3 windows, but my second call a day later a woman picked up and was callous and borderline rude.

We were satisfied with the job they did. They were punctual. The estimate was exactly what the job cost. They were there when they said. They came out and gave the estimate the way they said they would. Everything was fine. The price was reasonable with all the other prices in the area. It was what we thought it would be. They did what they said when they said.

The estimator arrived on time and was very courteous. I identified the windows I wanted replaced and because of their unique design he immediately investigated further to ensure determine the options. He clearly explained the challenges and provided me his opinion on the best solution. After measuring the windows, he provided me a full estimate on the spot. I took a few days to consider my options, and scheduled a time to perform the work. The installer, Mike, arrived a little later than I was told to expect him but he apologized and told me it was because he noticed midway over something was forgotten back at the shop. Since they were only a few miles down the road it was not all that big of a deal. He started pulling out the old windows right away. I asked to assist him, and he showed me the best and quickest way to remove them without damaging the frames. As I cleaned up around the windows, he began laying out the glass block next to the window openings, and it was soon noticed that they had missed one window during the estimation. Mike called it in, and they said they would have it ready the same day. We the checked the dimensions of each window to the frames to ensure they were correct and discovered two of the windows were smaller than the frames. It was determined that the estimator must have assumed removing the lower frames on these two windows for some reason. Fortunately I had a reciprocating saw to remove the lower frame to allow the glass block to fit. I left him alone to install the windows. I checked up on the progress later in the day and he was just getting to the last few remaining. He mentioned that because of the cool humid weather and the wide joints, doing the joint work was much more difficult and took longer than normal. Because of that and the missing window that showed up at the end of the day he would have to return another day to finish the work. We agreed on a date and he returned to finish up the job. I was very happy with the professionalism and quality of the work performed. I am very pleased with the end result.

Being a new homeowner, my boyfriend and I attended the Buffalo Home Show and talked about replacing the old fashioned basement windows with glass block, which were not only more efficient, but much more secure. The estimator was able to come when I returned home from work, and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. After seeing the actual windows and taking some measurements, he recommended what size block would work best in the space, and I received a discount for visiting them at the Home Show. It took until the following year (and tax refund!) to finally schedule the installation. Prior to the date, I received a message that the installer was in the area on another job, and may stop by to have a look before the actual installation in order to get a handle on the job. On the date of installation, my boyfriend was home and he reported that they arrived about 20-30 minutes early, and were done within about a hour and a half, or less. The old windows and debris were removed, and other than some minor interior clean-up, the only evidence of their presence was my new windows, which look awesome!

Salesman came to the house and measured windows. He arrived on time (actually, a little early). I usually get about three estimates, but with BGB's excellent ratings on Angie's list and the price seemed within range, I decided to purchase. The installers came out in a few days (on time) and did a very nice job. They went about their work and didn't pester me. I like the job and so does everyone who has seen it.

An estimate was given and work was scheduled. Two installers showed up on the scheduled date and time. They promptly began work to replace 6 basement windows. They were very professional and completed the work in about 1 1/2 hours. They cleaned up and took away the old windows. The windows bring more light into the basement and I now feel very secure in my house. The price was very fair. I got other estimates and Buffalo Glass Block was lower. I am extremely pleased with my windows and would recommend Buffalo Glass Block to anyone. Thank you so much!!

It was less than a week from the time of the estimate to the time of installment. The gentlemen was neat and quick. He took the old windows with him. It took less than 1 1/2 hours. Thank you Buffalo Glass Block!

The man came and explianed the process to me. Measured all windows and had provided a pamphlet showing styles of glass block and paperwork necessary to do job. Manwas very knowledgable. Decided to go with another company as this companies price was a little bit higher, approximately $100 more.

They were efficient in doing the work. They were late, but the windows do look nice.

Over all, the project went well and I am pleased with the results.

they did a good job with 4 of the windows. the guy installing the windows said he would need a needed something special for the dryer outlet window. it took a few phone calls and 2 months before the last window was put in. however, we were happy with the results. the windows are of good quality. i would use them again.

They removed all my wooden basement windows and installed new glass blocks for better insulation and security. They have a nice showroom. We picked out our choice of glass block. They were very helpful in that. The person came on time for the installation and did what he was supposed to do. We had no trouble with it.

I researched the appropriate glass block companies on Angie's list and chose Buffalo Glass Block due to their high ratings. I was not disappointed. The company rep came on time and within a couple of days of my calling. He presented all the details and made suggestions. I scheduled installation and was able to do so at my convenience and within 10 days. The installer called and said he was running late but was only 20 mins. late. He worked quickly was done in about an hour. He was polite and courteous. He cleaned up all the old windows. The only thing, and it is small, was he did leave concrete pieces in two of the 4 work areas with I swept up in a matter on minutes. I would recommend this company.

Estimator was prompt and efficient. Price was competitive. Installation was scheduled about 3 weeks after signing the contract. This is a reasonable wait since the windows are custom-made at the shop. After our initial estimate, we decided to add an additional window to our order. The estimator came out quickly to measure and add the window to our order. On the day of installation, the scheduler called in the morning to say that the installer's truck had broken down and they would like to reschedule for 2 days later. This was not a problem for us. Our installer, Phil, was prompt, efficient, quiet, and did a beautiful job. He removed the old windows, hauled them away, and cleaned up thoroughly. All in all, it was a positive experience.

I made an appointment, paid a deposit, and they came a week or two later to install the windows. They only took a few hours to install the windows. They cleaned up after themselves. The windows don't leak so they did a good job.

They were prompt, both salesman and installers, and professional. The installation was completed at a rate of about 18 minutes per window. They came around 9:30 and were done at 12:30. The site was cleaned up and We were very satisfied.

Nice craftsmanship, courteous worker. Cleaned up after himself - thank you! Overall experience was good but the Buffalo Glass Block cost 20% more per window. However, since this was a finished basement, it was good to have the extra precision and cleanliness.

Excellent work, they had to make some difficult adjustments, and did a good clean-up. I was very satisfied.
