Description of Work: We needed new openers installed. We emailed A1 and Rick called back within 5 minutes. He gave us an appointment within a few days. He was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. He had the openers built and installed in 2 hours, plus keypads. He was also very reasonable. We had a great experience with Rick and would recommend him. We're not friends with him, like David M. suggested in his review, and we're giving an honest review.

Description of Work: Utilized an Angie's List Member "Big Deal":Tune-up for one garage door=$80.00 value for $39.00. Rick Larkin, owner, was on-time;competent & has more than 10 years experience. He adjusted the Large spring and lubricated all the moving parts of the garage door. Also, he explained what he was doing and why and gave recommendations on preventative maintenance in the future. I would definitely use his services again and recommend him & his company.

 + -1 moreContacted them, left a message and it was returned within hours. An appointment was made for the same day (06.23.15). He arrived on time (in fact early) got right to work, pointed out that my opener chain was slack that there was a missing clip to my release mechanism and that one of my rollers had totally come apart. With the exception of the replacement roller, everything was part of the tune up. He was finished in less than 1/2 hour. I would recommend him highly.

He performed safety checks, lubricated tracks, suggested routine maintenance that we could perform to keep the door working smoothly. He demonstrated how well the door worked after lubrication. We would use A-1 Garage Door service again.

Description of Work: He put in a support 8 foot strut as the door had a crack at the top. Leveled the door as it was not coming down level and made adjustment so The door would remain open if you put it up manually. Oiled all the parts.
