+ -1 moreThey were not that excellent but they were okay. In a score of 1 -10, I will give them a 6. They charged me more than I thought they would even though I have this special. They had to do things backwards and he had to come and fix it. If they come to your home to fix something, they will come to do other appliances as well. They came back to do the dryer because he put the handle backwards. I paid way over than I thought I would have to pay. He did something with the dishwasher to clean it out and with the oven door. He over charged me. The price was very high as it turned out.
Description of Work: I used the big deal of Zulk Appliance Repair. They fixed the dryer and something with the dishwasher.

+ -1 morePretty well. He came in and looked at the refrigerator and noted a leak that we hadn't noticed that was related to the non-functioning valves. He also did some more troubleshooting. Unfortunately, they didn't have one of the parts readily available so it had to be ordered. It was available about 1 week later and he came back, did the repair in about 45 minutes, tested that it was working, had me test it, as well, and then left. No problems since.
Description of Work: Replaced multiple valves in our Bosch refrigerator that were broken and weren't allowing us to use the ice maker.

The technician was able to diagnose the problem, replace the broken part and complete the repair, as well as clean out all the dirty parts inside the dishwasher that could only be cleaned after taking it apart. I'm happy with the job they did and will use them again for appliance repairs or installation.

+ -1 moreI had previously performed the service on my machine myself when the dry cycle began to take longer than normal. The process is somewhat burdensome to remove the lint trap in the back of the machine, so I decided to hire a "professional" to do the routine service, instead. The technician attempted to vacuum the lint trap, but did not physically remove it to ensure it was properly cleaned. Upon trying to do a very small load in the machine the following day, my clothes were still not drying. This morning I physically removed the lint trap and found about a baseball size amount of lint in the machine which has been affecting the dry cycle. I have pictures of the lint I recovered, unfortunately, it appears I cannot add them to this review. I would not recommend Zulk for your appliance maintenance.

+ -1 moreIt turned out very well. He wound up fixing another appliance. I had an oven that broke a long time ago. I thought I wasn't going to be able to fix it. The actual mechanism where you program the oven to go on and what time and how much temperature, it fell into the actual frame of my oven and it had melted off. We needed a new piece. I had ordered it. At the same time, my washing machine stopped working. So, I got him for the oven but I realized I could have done that myself. He came and he did it within five seconds. So I was like, "You know what? Can you take a look at my washing machine?"It took a little longer. They would up charging me for the washing machine. So I got charged a lot extra just because I did it out of Angie's deal. He just added on. I'm glad they did the job. I really needed it. I think I paid an extra $140 to $160 beyond the big deal price. They were very high priced. It was very small piece. They did a good job.

Also gave me some great preventative maintenance tips about other appliances (refrigerator and washer/dryer) which was really nice, especially since it means I hopefully won't need them to come repair those appliances!

+ -1 moreI.ZULK repairman MIKE arrived within the agreed upon window and immediately began to diagnose the problem I had been having with my dryer which was NO HEAT. Quickly he tested circuits and told me I needed a HEATING ELEMENT and that would cost $170.00. . I agreed and he proceeded. He went back to his truck and came back with the part. He dismantled my WHIRLPOOL DRYER in 10 minutes and removed the heating element. He showed me the good one versus the bad one and I could distinguish why the OLD one was bad. 5 minutes later he was done and he cranked it up. Ooooo nice; it ignited. Oh wait....the gas didn't ignite. He paused for a second. Asked me if my gas was on and I said yes. He got back to work. He took his tester back out and checked something. "Here it is"' he said. "I got to go to the truck." He went to the truck and came back with 2 other mechanisms. He started to remove the defective items and I said, "Now how much is this gonna' be? AND HE SAID....."NOTHING. The original price I quoted is the price." He finished up. Turned my dryer on and it lit up and heated up just like he expected. There were 2 things wrong and he didn't change the price. He made out my bill for $170.00 and told me that because of the $100 coupon that I had previously bought for $50.00 through Angie's list, he said I only owed $70.00. GREAT JOB. They are officially my appliance people.
