Angelo, the owner, came on time for the estimate. He's pleasant and easy to talk to. His estimate was half what a Manhattan company had given me. The Manhattan company would charge extra to put up plastic sheets: Angelo had no charge. They would not move furniture: he would. Their estimate without these extras was still double his. I picked the date. Before the scheduled date, I called several times with questions. He was always patient and responsive. He said his assistant has been with him five years and he personally would be on the job. They were here right on time. They spent two-and-a-half days, with a second assistant one day. They divided the floor areas in half, moving furniture to one side as each step was done, then doing the other side. That way the furniture did not have to be moved to the basement and there was less chance of it being damaged. They applied the sealer and poly the same way. I stayed home and was able to go in and out except for a few hours each day but I boarded my cat: something I strongly recommend if you have pets as the dust is tremendous, the power tools noisy, and the smell is strong at first. They were going to take two days but Angelo saw that some repair work was needed in one area so they came back for the third half-day. He seemed very thorough. He repaired areas where the wood tiles were broken. They finished by vacuuming walls and furniture. They put everything back to my satisfaction. He charged exactly what he estimated. But be aware: even though they vacuumed fairly thoroughly, there will still be dust on the walls and in nooks and crannies. it turns one's life upside down for days but it was a pleasant, satisfying experience. The floors look new.The only imperfect aspect is in the front room, a strip down the middle shows the two steps and is darker than the rest of the floor but I'm not calling him back, as that's where the floor gets the most wear, so it will work itself out. He also reconnected my TV/cable!

Everything went smoothly. They were on time and finished the project within the time frame provided and at a very reasonable price. The only reason I would not use them again is that the sanding was not perfect. Everything in the end was smooth but there were some spots where you could still see the marks the sander made. If you want your floors to look absolutely perfect I would suggest someone else. If you want them to look good and not pay too much Xtreme is the company for you.

One person came and looked at the job to be performed. He was five minutes early He gave us a written estimate. We were pleasingly surprised. We were called the next week with a start date which fit into our schedule. It took two and a half days to complete the job as they had estimated from 12/21 to 12/23. Needless to say we think they were great.

After a no-show, we needed a floor finisher pronto to keep our contractor on schedule, maintaining work flow. Xtreme responded to a late day call, sending a rep the next day to discuss specs and estimate cost. An agreement was reached and workers arrived the following day. The work was done efficiently and well, with one or two consults as it progressed. We were satisfied with the results as well as with their approach to customers. They were clear and businesslike. They did what they said they were going to do, at the designated time. At the same time, they were sensitive to our concerns.

we have a single family 1925 rowhouse that has parquet flooring throughout. The floors on the upstairs were badly damaged. The stairs had 2 layers of carpet on it. We were having other work done and had postpone on them twice, they were very professional about this. they eventually came and sanded all the floors and stairs, and polyurethaned witha light shine. They repaired some small damaged areas and new filler flooring looked seamless. Angelo did a great job.

I called the company for an estimate. The estimate was given. We set up a day to do the work. They arrived at scheduled date and time. The floor was sanded, water sealed ,and 1st coat of polyurethane was put down. The following day, they arrived as planned, and on time, and put second coat on floor. Job complete.
