Dave and his team did a beautiful job in our apartment! It is my husband and my first apartment, and Dave gave us great help along the process and really made sure we are happy with the result, from taking us shopping to pick out exactly which materials we want, to suggesting measurements/position for installing the TV or wall moulding. What really impressed me is how responsible Dave and his team were. After the work was performed, I noticed there were very small imperfections (e.g. some switches were scratched) and told Dave abut them. Without further questions, he told me to make a punch list and that his team will take care of it. Another great thing is that Dave is SO responsive. He always answered right away when I called him (I have no idea how he does that). I am really happy we found Dave and his team. If I need any remolding in the future, I will hire him again.

We have had great experiences with Waxtel LLC. The crew is very good about asking for guidance on visual/taste choices which we appreciated. Other than unforeseen items, they have been honest about both the time and budget of the projects.

Some delays due to being in a "Co-op" building, needed paper work to be filed. The project when well. Total remolding of kitchen, and electrical up-grades in apartment. Would recommend them.

I’d never done a renovation before and was nervous. Water damage made it a necessity, however. They did a great job. The bathroom looks wonderful and is practical. The construction workers showed up promptly every day for three weeks until the job was finished. I couldn’t be happier!

Another contractor destroyed my house Dave Waxtel walked into a monster bathroom and Kitchen. He explained that everything had to come down to the studs to be rebuild. It took 3 weeks for completion I absolutely LOVE!! my new bathroom and Kitchen!! Excellent, professional job by Waxtel Construction and his team of employees. They arrived on time and work hard all day making sure everything was perfect.. Dave was very patient and understanding. I would definitely recommend them. Waxtel's estimate was the middle of the three we received and reasonable. The final cost for construction was right on; the cost for materials (flooring, counters, cabinets) was about 50% higher than estimated probably because we chose higher quality than the estimate assumed. No complaints. Andrew Waxtel, the owner's son, provided architectural drawings that our building required at no cost. The estimate for time to completion was 3 weeks; it took 4 weeks. One week, no work was done while we waited for counters. Dave Waxtel (and Andrew) responded immediately to texts or phone calls. The quality the work was very high. One of the two guys who came regularly (Fidel) was especially talented, a perfectionist. We are very pleased with the result.

Dave and his crew transformed my kitchen from the most depressing room in my co-op to one which I walk through several times a day just because I like the way it looks. His design was creative and we were able to get the necessary components – cabinets, quartz counter-top, appliances, etc. – at reduced prices. The workmanship was excellent. The plumber and electrician that Dave used were also top-notch. My fuse box was upgraded to circuit breakers and, as a side job, my bathroom sink was replaced with one I could actually use. The work was completed quickly as promised with the only delay being caused by the wait for delivery of my stove and microwave. I strongly recommend Dave if you want a beautiful remodel done quickly at a reasonable cost.

Waxtel LLC did a complete remodel of my kitchen and painted the area. Dave was accesible at all times via phone, text and emails. References were readily available upon request and all were great. His foreman, Milton, did an amazing, professional job. The plummer Jake and painter Hector also did a phenomenal job. Dave even took the time to drive me to the different stores to look at what were my options. Talk about going above and beyond! This gave me a great perspective of what I wanted. Once satisfied with my kitchen design and all items were delivered , work went smoothly and quickly. My kitchen was done in a month! If you want a team that is professional, reliable that goes above and beyond, I highly recommended Waxtel. I would definitely hire again.

Dave's team delivered great results in the time estimated. I am very happy with the finished product.

Long punchlist had to be dealt with. Most items were fixed but we got a lot of “lip” from the supervisor. For example, they painted and when I said they needed to caulk or tape first I was told, “we werent supposed to fix things, just paint”. My response, “you ALWAYS prep before painting!” Expensive job too!

Dave and his foreman Andrew are the best. They are both honest and patient. They did a great job, on time and within budget.

David and his crew did exceptional work. Having previously dealt with a terrible contractor, I can attest to how great Waxtel is. Everyone who David hired along the way did a great job, from the demo crew to the plumber to the builders. Everyone showed up on time and worked a full day. This is worth mentioning because most contractors do not do this! He mentioned that his crew only works for him, which is also worth mentioning as a lot of contractors hire less skilled day laborers and you might not have the same crew working from day to day. They did beautiful tile work, it turned out even better than I had imagined. Cannot recommend enough!

Quite frankly, neither I nor the guests who enter can believe its the same place! All work performed was stellar! Dave and his crew are absolute professionals and come ready to work. (Safety wise masks were always worn and temp checks done daily) Truly, "no stone is left unturned" and he was most gracious as I added a "few other items" along the way. Don't hesitate to contact this great father and son duo!

Dave arrived at my apartment right on time, and we went over the projects I need done. He gave his great input and ideas. We received an estimate/contract within 48 hours, and also photos of previous jobs he and his company had completed. He does amazing work, and is a great guy. Highly recommended!

The job ent very well; Dave and his staff are both organized, efficient and proficient. The result is beautiful, and they even threw in a few extras!

Dave the owner and Tony the foreman are fantastic. My biggest need in any renovation work is that the owner is honest and fair. Every job has its uncertainties that no one can anticipate. I found both Dave and Tony exceptionally honest and open people and I would trust them to help me with future work. No hidden costs, no fake charges. They billed exactly what they estimated plus additional costs that I agreed to for changes to the work (on me). Tony even fixed a nagging problem with a closet door at no cost. Great guys and would highly recommend.

Wonderfully. Love Dave. Super nice but more than anything honest -- totally honest -- and let me tell you my husband and I are not easy New Yorkers with whom to deal. My husband trust no one and while I'm friendly, I want the best, at the best price and some zen in working relationships. I got it all. Dave is a great contractor. His son is an architect. And Dave's crew is the best -- professional and thinks above and beyond the project. For once, we got exactly what we wanted; at the exact quoted price; in the quoted amount of time. Thrilled.
