Dave and his crew started on time, and remained within the estimated budget. I live in a one bedroom apartment, and I needed to stay there. They were able to keep the toilet functional during the construction, and the apartment remained clean. We had minor issues just as expected in any renovation, but we were able to come to good solutions. Dave remained to be a partner, who was always available. While the work lasted a little longer than expected, I love the result, and that is the most important quality.

Beautifully done! The work was actually finished in the timeframe Dave said it would be. What??? That’s unheard of from a contractor. Communication and professionalism were top notch. Recommend all the way! Genuinely, a lovely experience.

Dave was terrific. He spent several hours taking us around to stores to see different options for our bathrooms which was definitely above and beyond the call of duty. He made some good suggestions regarding structural changes to the space that were different and better than the two other contractors who gave us estimates. He started a week earlier than planned and finished quickly with a thorough clean up. He was in frequent communication throughout the renovation and assisted us by returning and exchanging two pieces of equipment that had come damaged so we didn’t need to do it. We love the new bathrooms even more than we expected to and work seems really high quality that will last us for years. We will definitely look to Dave for any new renovation project in our apartment and are so appreciative of his work.

Dave and his team did a great job renovating my apartment. He was very responsive and they did quality work throughout the whole process. I would use them again if I have another project. The work included a kitchen, bathrooms, floors, a floating staircase, new lighting, and more.

We have renovated a few homes over the years, and hands down, Dave and his crew were the best to work with. Dave communicates! (Not always a given with contractors we had worked with in the past.) He is punctual, meticulous, and fairly priced. He is smart and offered up suggestions, while understanding the aesthetic we were striving for. Moreover, years after his job was completed we remain in touch with him and he continues to come to our home-tinkering rescue. We have recommended Dave to various friends/neighbors and they have all raved about his work and work ethic. This guy is top notch. How often do you finish a renovation project with a contractor and end up feeling like he's a good, trustworthy friend? That's how we feel about Dave!

Dave and the team was fantastic from start to finish. We were first time home buyers and had no idea what to do or expect with remodeling our bathroom. We demolished a half bath and turned it into a full bath with stand up shower. Dave was realistic and upfront about options from best cost to best value. He was not afraid to tell us when our concept was not best for our needs. He referred us to places for materials, bathroom fixtures, and paint. He completed the project in the time he estimated. He even included a house cleaner that was THE best I have ever seen. The bathroom is our favorite room in the house because it came out so beautiful, and always is a wow factor for our guests.

Dave did a great job for us. He quickly and economically fixed the problems. He worked within our budget and got it all done quickly. He has also done roof and exterior wall repair for our building. All in all, he does what he says he'll do, he keeps to the budget and gets the work done on time. I'm sure we will use him again.

I am a property manager responsible for numerous buildings and call on many vendors. Waxtel is one of my "go-to" contractors for work ranging from the installation of doors to the fabrication of a rooftop deck. The two principals are accessible, responsive and they back up their work, at a reasonable price. I have been pleased with the quality of their work. If there is a warranty issue, however, they come back without hesitation. They also do not oversell - they recommend whatever is necessary to get the job done, even if it diminishes their scope of work.

David and his son Andy are the owners of Waxtel, llc, and they both are very professional. I bought a house that needed major renovations and was so happy to have been introduced to both David and Andy. They gutted my home and re-did everything exactly the way I envisioned. David had the patience to work with me and to take me to different vendors to pick out cabinets, tile, paint colors, granite and everything else I needed to make my home the way I wanted. David was on the job site evryday with his son and even suggested options I hadn't thought about that were so much better than what I had come up with. The employees from Waxtel, llc showed up everyday on time and put in a full days work. They also cleaned up my home before leaving for the day. It was a big project that I was nervous about, thinking that it would also be a stressful time. I was wrong. Dave and Andy handled everything like experts, they returned my phone calls immediately and answered all my questions. From the start of the job until the end I had no stress. I would hire them again and definitely recommend them to anyone looking to hire a reliable and true professional contractor.
