Progress

This was the second job Progress has done for us in recent months, they are a pleasure to work with. Ivan is very quick to respond over text, and we will certainly reach out to them again in the future if more work is needed.

Ivan & Co. did a great job patching up a very large water-damaged hole in our bathroom ceiling. We texted photos of the damage to Ivan, and almost immediately received a quote for fixing the dry wall. The job was estimated at 1-2 days, but Ivan & Co. finished in just one. They patched the hole, painted the entire ceiling, and cleaned up all of the dust and debris when finished.

Ivan and roman done great work! Very professional. Showed up on time were very tidy and accommodating with any changes that I wanted. They even went above and beyond to make sure the work was done within the time frame I needed. When the delivery for the floor was delayed by 2 weeks they drove all the way to new jersy to pick up the floor in the only store that had it. Would definitely hire again!

Unfortunately the estimate cam in about 4,000 higher than other contractors for the same work.

Ivan and Roman are great! They are responsive, professional, and the work they have done for me has been top notch. I've called them back for many jobs, from painting and drywall to plumbing and roofing. They do it all well! They are also quite fair. On one occasion they did not adjust the price of their service even though the project ended up being more complicated than anticipated (through no fault of their own). They arrive precisely when they say they will and they do a great job of estimating how long each job will take. I have particularly appreciated the time that they put into explaining the repairs that they make. This has helped me to better understand my own home and further appreciate the care that they put into making everything perfect. I would highly recommend Ivan and Roman and look forward to working with them again.

We can't say enough how happy we've been with Progress. Over and over again they surpassed our expectations with their incredible hard work, attention to detail and transparency. We brought them on to build a bedroom, remodel a kitchen and renovate a bathroom. They tackled every problem with speed and efficiency and then moved on to the next. They always came early, worked straight through the day and cleaned up their workspace every night. Not only that, they were friendly and positive people to have in our home. We just can't say enough about how much we loved working with them. The work is excellent - not a detail is overlooked. Really truly a quality job - and with ease and transparency at every step. They are informative and helpful and kind, and incredibly professional. We will definitely use them again, and we highly recommend them to all our friends and family. AMAZING WORK, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Very punctual, responsive and professional. Good work performed. Not the cheapest option, but worth it not have to worry about quality and/or if contractor will shop up at all!

Ivan and Roman were very professional and very responsive. My phone calls and text messages were always answered and they were very clear about what needed to be done in our apartment and what it would take to get it to where we would be happy with it. Unfortunately, we decided on another contractor but we were very pleased with our experience with this company. We would definitely consider using Progress for any future work.

Both men were very professional and respectful of the property. They were polite and pleasant to be around. The work was completed to a high standard.

Ivan was incredibly patient, and actually came out twice to do the estimates. He was very responsive by phone, and sent pictures of the work as requested. He definitely went above and beyond.

The Opening in the ceiling was caused from an electric damage that cause a small fire, when the fire department come in to inspect inside the ceiling had to make a large opening in to it. The sink was a job that nobody want to do it but they did it perfectly. I was really impress with the job that was performed and they were professional, clean and on time. Ivan and his partner were perfect and I'm picky person.

They were always on time, very polite, professional, clean up each day after they finished. They work from the time they arrived, till 5:00pm with an hour lunch, and finished the job on time. I was very pleased with Roman and Ivan. I would use there services again and recommend them .

I have used their services before for some smaller repairs and was very satisfied. On this occasion once again they hit the mark. They kept all of their appointments and were very punctual from the first visit to give an estimate to the day of completion. They completed the work in a quick and efficient manner. They were willing to accommodate my schedule reasonably. The amount charged was fair. They went with me to the store to purchase the material and were very patient in answering my questions. Best of all they are so neat! Not a scrap of debris or mess left behind. Love it. They really take pride in doing a good job and will let you know if they think what you want done won't provide you with the results you might be expecting. I definitely, plan on using them in the future.

Excellent and Professional Service! I would use Progress again. Roman and Ivan were friendly and responsive to inquiries about the work, and they were very patient in working with our co-op managing agent. They stuck with us despite some initial setbacks from our co-op mgmt and ultimately were ready to do the job once we were all ready. Work was done efficiently in 2 days and done well. Furniture was covered and there was little dust after work was done. All parties were happy and satisfied with the work completed and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend Progress.

I come home late one Friday evening and was greeted by water pouring out of my living room ceiling and lighting fixtures. I later learn that a pipe burst on one of my second floor baseboard heaters causing the waterfall. Long story short, after a mitigation team came and left with their fans and industrial sized humidifiers, I was left with crunchy hardwood floors and yucky water stains on my ceilings. I call Progress and speak with Ivan who was super professional and accommodating. He came to my home in the late evening to assess the damage and gave me references and an estimate the same day. He was hired! The Joint tape on the ceilings needed to be removed and replaced, ceilings were primed spackled, skim coated and repainted as were the walls that were damaged by the water. This was required in both the first floor and basement. Ivan, Roman and I believe another gentleman named Ivan did gorgeous work! They were very careful in covering up my kitchen and flat screen while they worked; they made these areas available to me after they completed a days work. I am a total stickler for neat lines, perfectly mitered corners and overall competence. Ivan and his team surpassed that in making my home look newly renovated! I will absolutely work with them in the future on other projects.

Priced fair for the NYC market. Not the cheapest guys who've worked for me but a good example of you get what you pay for. They also took care of all materials so that was a big hassle I didn't have to deal with. Where these guys really deserve credit is for their communication, promptness, etc. They estimated the job quickly, started at their first available opportunity, worked quickly, shared photos of the work in progress so I could see what happened "under the paint" so to speak. And left the job site clean. Their completed work was very solid. Not exceptional but certainly very solid and appropriate for the overall condition of the apartment and the price they charged. I guess what I'm saying is that if this were my own home I would expect the work to be a slightly higher standard, but I also hold my own apartment to a higher standard. Will definitely use them again to help with future maintenance needs in my rental apartments or my own home.

They were great. Easy to deal with, punctual, professional. The final charges were almost exactly like the estimates, and they worked with me to provide estimates in advance for the insurance. Would definitely recommend them.

Ivan and his team did an outstanding job. We had water damage from a heavy rain and needed to replace the floor asap. They gave us a very reasonable quote and were able to fit the work into their busy schedule as soon as our flooring was delivered. We also decided to paint the ceiling at the same time the floor was being installed, and they were easily able to accommodate the expansion of the project. Overall, they were great to work with and we would highly recommend this team.

I'm very happy about the work. Detailed and fair estimate, flexibility in terms of days of work, attention to details and willing to go the extra mile to try and fix a problem with the door (my ceiling was little tilted). Very clean and respectful of the house, and stayed a day or two more to make sure that everything was completed and all highquality. Only B in responsiveness, they might have been faster in responsing or communicating sometimes, but absolutely never an issue. Will definitely ask again for more work.

He arrived on time and completed the job in a prompt manner

This is my fourth time hiring Progress. When they quote you a price, that is what you pay. They are not one of those contractors that keep raising the price as they go. They show up every day, working efficiently and quickly. The basement looks beautiful. They did a great job on this basement that used to look incredibly run-down and ugly. It looks like any other room in the house now, not like a basement. Also of note, they will give you suggestions to help you stick with your budget. I have 2-3 more projects left as I renovate my little old house, and I will continue to hire them. Very pleased.

Ivan and Roman are very professional, and will explain what they are doing and why it is necessary. They will make suggestions to accomplish the results you want and tell you if some request is unrealistic. They moved the heavy furniture in the rooms to be worked on and cleaned up constantly to keep the dust and trash to a minimum.. They picked up and delivered the materials needed for the job, and removed the excess as an area or job was completed. This is the second time I have used their services and have no complaints.

They said they would come on a Saturday to my town that is listed in their service area. Then Ivan called and said he could only come and his partner, Roman, could not. Then 2 days later Roman sends a message and says they do not cover the area. So after jerking me around all week there is no way I will be able to get anybody over here this weekend. Thhis was extremely unprofessional and both men were rude. I would never use them.

It went very well. Roman and Ivan were prompt and did the job fairly quickly. Both were accommodating and finished the job as expected. No complaints.

Ivan is the first contractor we've had that I feel confident recommending. We had a good impression of him from the beginning because he arrived on time, was respectful of our apartment (removed his shoes without being asked), answered questions, gave us an upfront quote and was a nice person to deal with. We ended up hiring him and am very glad we did so. He was in our apartment for two days and he got right to work on both days. Aside from a very short twenty-minute lunch, he worked non-stop form 9-ish to 6-ish and truly transformed those walls. He even finished caulking some gaps in the window sills that the people who installed the windows left there, and filled in a hole and some cracks in the adjacent wall/ceiling without being asked. He's much more detailed-oriented than anyone we've worked with, which we really appreciate. Our window-sills were very uneven and now they are straight and smooth. We are very glad we hired him and will be working with him in the future. If you want a stress-free person who does good quality work and solves his own problems, hire this guy.
