I want to say special Thank You to members of Progress company for providing excellent service and for the job they did. Company were hired for repainting 1 Bedroom apartment in South Brooklyn. Job was done in professional manner and it only took few days to be completed. Walls, ceiling, moldings and doors looks and feels like new. Clean job, no hustle, no headache, and apartment looks brand new. Highly recommended, will hire again in the future. Thank you a million for your professionalism! Was a pleasure working with you.

We hired them to remodel our bathroom and kitchen, then hired them a few years later to repaint our apartment and get it ready to sell. They did a great job on all the projects - on budget and on time, with high-quality work.

Service was amazing. They worked each day as scheduled. Showed up on time and performed the work to remodel the entire apartment. Garbage was picked up after each day and nothing was left behind. The company is an absolute rehire for me! Thanks Ivan for the great and thorough work.

Ivan and his team are absolute professionals. Did an excellent job remodeling my entire bathroom. They are very efficient. Ivan and Roman are the best! I’ve worked with them for years and am always more than satisfied with the quality of their work. They’re kind and thorough and their prices are fair. They seem to know how to do everything! They’ve done a lot of painting, plastering, grouting and water damage work for me and it always looks amazing. This was the second set of jobs I hired ISL progress to do for me. they were so marvelous to work with when I used them previously. I have recommended them to everyone I know who is looking for a great contractor. Ivan came back and did a series of smaller projects for me including : pouring a concrete foundation for part of my patio, painting and repairing holes after electrical work, putting in new 220 electrical outlets, putting in combo washer and dryer and new electric stove,changing a hanging chandelier for a flush mounted light fixture,sliding glass door installation, and installing a new electrical panel. Ivan is fantastic at communicating what needs to be done and does such a wonderful job with everything. He always got back to me so rapidly -even when I just had a smaller project for him to do he managed to fit me in very quickly. Ivan is ultra responsible and very very talented - I have nothing but the highest praise for Ivan and ISL and will use them again.

Fantastic job done on our extremely specific design for redoing our kitchen. Consistently gave us choices and explained issues that came up, never pressuring us to spend more. Always willing to help out on the small peculiarities of the job without nickel and diming us. Easy to work with and extremely responsive and adaptable.

The work was done beautifully and quickly. I’ve hired Progress in the past for other renovations and upgrades, and can’t say enough good things about this company. Ivan and Roman are nice guys who communicate clearly and do excellent work. Their company is versatile and have done a variety of different jobs for me on my house.

Have used these guys before and will use them again. They are a little more expensive than others but for that you get promptness and professionalism. Had an issue after the job where some plaster hadn't dried properly prior to painting. They came back to fix it up without issue and without complaint.

I had to do a total gut to a late 1980s condo as a result of a leak from my upstairs neighbor. I got Ivan and Roman who form the company ISL.Progress from Angie's List and it was the best decision I ever made. Their prices were extremely fair for the excellent quality of their work. They did everything or had one of their partners do it: painting/water damage repair /insulation/framing/sheetrocking/electrical/ installation of exterior and interior doors and hardware/closets/tiling/plumbing/powerwashing and prepping/clearing out back yard. In the middle of this full reno I was unexpectedly hospitalized and had to go through 2 surgeries and could not be there at all to oversee the project. Ivan and Roman did everything for me and sent me pictures of progress at the end of the day and kept me updated in every way. They do such beautiful work that I just knew if I followed their advice everything would be fantastic- and it was! They did such an amazing job at every part of the reno and they were so dependable and fantastic at communication that I can't strongly recomend them enough. Their experience was an invaluable resource as I had never done a gut renovation before and knowing they were so dependable made my life so less stressful at a scary time health-wise for me. They are both extremely talented, extremely responsible, and extremely kind professionals.

They won me over when they came to give me an estimate & put booties on their shoes to come into my house. They did beautiful work & i would highly recommend them. They are pleasant, respectful, & punctual. I already have them doing another project in my house.

This review is long overdue, but, I wanted to really praise these gentlemen for the work they did for me. Summer 2018, I had previously hired another contractor and the work was very poor and I was forced to look elsewhere to save my project. Then came ISL Progress to the rescue! They stepped in transformed a dead space into a masterpiece. I now have 2 beautiful bedrooms where there was a dreary and unwelcoming area. A brand new bathroom, kitchenette, hardwood doors, laminate flooring, perfectly cut molding, lighting, drainage, vents, etc... etc.. I have received numerous compliments for the work, but, all credit is due to these gentlemen who were willing to work with me under some challenging circumstances. I highly recommend the ISL Progress team. They are professional and genuinely good people. Will definitely use them again!

Roman did an excellent job each time we called him. The first was a painting job which was very straight forward but we were pleased with his work. The next time we contacted him was for a trickier job -- to fix the shower pan on an old shower. We did not want to rip it out and replace the entire shower and Roman found a way to patch the job and save us money. The one other thing that we like about him is that he is prompt. You don't find this with a lot of contractors. We will definitely use his services again in the future.

These guys were amazing. Came in on-time, set up, assessed the work to be done, got to work, and finished! The only hiccups were on my end as I had no clue what paint colors, finishes, and types were used on the walls and the ceiling the last time they had been painted. I had initially claimed to have been able to provide them with paint for the job, but when I looked at all of the paint I had, none of it seemed correct, so they went out and found the paint that I had BELIEVED to be the right type, color, and finish. After they had finished painting and blending, they noticed that, while the color of the wall paint matched, the finish did not (eggshell vs semi-gloss) and the ceiling paint did not match either due to the slight shift in tinge paint experiences over time, so they took a small sample of the ceiling and went back to get paint again! What service! They came back and matched each paint type, color, and finish perfectly, and, as an added bonus, now I know which paints to use going forward! Last but not least, the main thing here is that, since I had to go into work that day, most of this coordination had to happen over text with Roman (sending me photos, etc) - amazing service. I will most certainly be using their services again in the future.

Two men , Roman and Ivan, came punctually and did an excellent job. Their price was very reasonable and they finished in 2 days, quicker than we had initially been told. In addition they cleaned up afterwards so we’re very pleased with how they handled everything.

Ivan and Ronan have been my handymen for a few years now. They're great! They put so much care into the work that they do. They've done painting, patching, plumbing and electrical projects for me over the years. And all of it is done well! If you're a home owner I would totally recommend developing a relationship with them and keeping their contacts on hand. They've come to the rescue so many times!

Ivan and Roman did an absolutely amazing job with the lighting for my apartment. They installed a chandalier in the hallway, a nice lighting fixture and a dimmer switch in the bedroom, and a ceiling fan in the dining room. I was really happy when they told me that they would be able to install the dimmer in my bedroom, something that my grandmother's handyman had told me previously (without even looking at the wiring in the bedroom) would not be possible due to my building's old wiring. When Ivan and Roman were finished with each installation, they asked me if it was to my liking before moving onto the next one and if I wanted something changed a little (ex. the height of the chandelier) they were glad to do so. Also, they were very precise and neat while working. I'm so happy with how everything turned out and I would definitely recommend them!

We installed a new kitchen floor, master bedroom closet, and master bathroom door. Plus, did some repairs to dry wall and ceilings throughout our place that were damaged from a leak. Ivan and Roman were incredible from start to finish. We’ve had some bad experiences with contractors in the past, have had shoddy work done in our place, but Ivan and Roman were nothing like our past experience. They were communicative, professional and competitively priced. At the end of every day during the job, they cleaned and swept and made sure our apartment was livable for my family. They finished the job ahead of schedule and the work was terrific. Several months later we had some issues with our bathroom door and washing machine (which got moved during the job). They came back and adjusted the washer and repainted the bathroom door free of charge. Having a good reputation and ensuring quality work is worth more to them than money. I cannot recommend them enough. Considering the horror stories you hear about contractors, it was such a relief we found honest, hard working contractors who do quality work. We will 100% call them the next time we need some work done.
