Its rare that you find a firm that combines responsiveness, honesty, punctuality, affordability, precision and pride in their work. We were very pleased with the outcome and will definitely be using them again.

It went very smoothly and I can't say enough positive things about Ivan and Roman. Not only did they finish the two bathrooms ahead of schedule but they were very good about removing any materials and waste. In summary, they're very professional and communicative and we would certainly hire them again.

From start to finish absolutely fantastic

Everything was done on budget and pretty much on time (slight delays because of some unforeseen plumbing issues). New bathroom looks fantastic, and they were great about sending pictures showing the in-progress work. We spent one night in a hotel but otherwise they made sure we always had a working toilet, which was really nice. They also did a great job cleaning up and didn't scratch our new hardwood floors. We live in a co-op and they got all the necessary paperwork in on time, too.

It took forever to find someone to install a door for me! Finding these guys was a blessing, and I couldn't have done it without Angie's List. Apparently, unless you purchase a door through the company that's installing it, no one will install it. These guys were up to the task. It was a brand new door, purchased through Home Depot. They came a little late, but stayed most of the day and did everything. They reinforced the door frame and attempted to install my old, crappy and broken storm door onto the nice, new door. I never requested that, so...there's a bit of a communications problem there. But...reinforcing the frame is a good idea for any future storm door. The screws they put in were noticeable, but they used the touch-up paint and it's barely noticeable now. I've rated them A on everything, but there's no 'communication' category. To be fair, they were dealing with a door I didn't order from them, and that they may not have been familiar with. It was a pre-framed door, but because it was being put into a brick frame, they had to customize it quite a bit. They came, measured the frame, made some cuts, then went out to Home Depot to purchase internal, white wooden molding trim. They recessed our security magnet, and all looked excellent. Because it was custom, we didn't discuss all of the details. They just did it, and hopefully I'd like the results. The look is great, but I'll have to rip off the molding to change the battery in the sensor now recessed in the new molding trim. They clearly know their stuff. I have a feeling they would be excellent at ANY construction project. I recommend that you speak with them and clarify ANY small details before they begin. If there's an area that wasn't discussed, they will make a best guess. It'll probably be ok, but... your expectation may or may not be met. I would recommend them highly. They're very inexpensive, creative, and careful about detail. They clean up afterwards, and make sure that everything is to your satisfaction. Not much more you can ask for!

Fantastic! But we knew it would because ivan is such a great communicator. Throughout the reno, we got TONS on pictures of every stage, we spoke on the phone, we did face time, we texted. We trust ivan, his people and his work completely.

These guys are absolute pros. They did such an amazing job on the place... it's hard to put into words. When it was all done, I didn't even know an old apartment from the 1910's could look this good. On a relatively small budget, they made the place look like a brand new apartment. I had never done a renovation before, and I had no idea what to expect. I've heard horror stories from relatives, or friends that have done them. Ivan and Roman were the opposite. So easy to work with. They walked me through the process step by step, one thing at a time until it was done. They made the process unbelievably easy and straightforward. On top of that, their attention to detail is second to none. They speckled the walls to look straight- and brand new. They installed the tiles to align perfectly with the wood in the floor. They moved a wall and built a closet with organizers and doors that were thoughtfully laid out. I even had some crazy ideas (like hanging a discoball below a light fixture) that they helped make a reality. If I could give them a score higher than a 10 out of 10, I would.

AMAZING. These guys are so helpful and professional. They actually listen to what you want to do and make it happen. My house is old and so every angle and measurement is abnormal, but they were very creative and still made it work. They cut the wooden backdoor to fit the weird frame, and then built a custom frame to make the storm door work. THEY'RE GREAT.

They scrape the water damage up first, paint with oil primer plaster, spread and paint all materials included, and then they ran a cable on the floor first. They have attention to detail, they're very communicative, there wasn't any surprises. The workers are very friendly, down to earth, very approachable. This is a really great one for us, and we're going to do some small stuff with them too. There was two of them on this job, it took them maybe about an hour or two.

Fantastic work. Roman was extremely responsive and flexible. We originally contacted them for an estimate in June '16 but given the delays we had in moving to our new place, we didn't reply until January '17. They were very professional and was able to provide another estimate (we added in the painting requirement) very quickly- believe it was the next day. They estimated that it was a 2 week effort (we have high ceilings and needed scaffolding) but they finished early (a little more than a week). Overall, we were very satisfied with the work and their professionalism and would definitely use them again.

The kitchen turned out beautifully. I have been very happy with this company- The workers communicate very clearly, show up on time, are professional and pleasant to deal with, and do great work at a great price. I plan to hire them again and would recommend them to anyone needing work done on their house.

This time, I received a lower quote from another contractor and decided to try, but it ended up being a nightmare. After the other contractor left, I called back progress and asked them to fix things to the quality I was used to. They took over the work and fixed it all, including replacing a drywall, a door, sanding and painting the floor. They compleyed everything extremely well, with maximum attention to details and taking their time the make things perfect and cleaning up well once done. They were busy, so it took more time than expected, but I am so happy I waited and worked with them. I already hired them again for my next project, in a few months.

Absolutely amazing. These guys are incredibly efficient, hardworking, professional people and we would recommend them to anyone. They came early, cleaned up and were always available by text or call. They came when they said they would and we're always unfailingly friendly. Just superb. Oh, and their prices are super competitive. Love them.

Ivan and crew were fantastic to deal with from the first contact. They finished the job early and exceeded our expectations in all areas. They also went the extra mile to address some additional areas for improvement on our space. Always communicative and eager to do great work, I can't recommend Progress highly enough and will be contacting them for any work we need in the future.

okay - took longer than anticipated but it's an old building

They did an incredible job. It looks amazing. They even took care of some shelves that needed to be changed in height because of the new layer, but even that they did really well. They also painted the walls which look so fantastic now. I really appreciated their work, they were on time (even 10 minutes early, which me being German really appreciates!) and very easy to deal with, very nice, very comforting. Asolutely will hire them again.
