Description of Work: Handy men did plastering,installed mailbox,installed gutter guard on roof,installed heating wire around gutter.

Description of Work: It was stated at one price $648. Handyman for a day. When they came to do the work and finsihed they requested additional money. Stating they had 3 guys and Angies list got the pricing wrong it as only handyman service using 2 guys. I paid them because i did not to argue. I would not use them again. I have not used Angies list since that time also.

Description of Work: They hung a ceiling light and put down smart tile in my kitchen. Their work was very good - a few times I had to email a few times before hearing back. Once they were here they were friendly, professional and prepared.

Description of Work: There were two of them for three hours. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of this beforehand. I would have lined up a few two person jobs... They installed 8 cellular shades, installed a dimmer switch and changed 9 hard to reach light bulbs. I might have misjudged time, but I had thought that six hours would be enough for them to help me lift and store 12x12foot artificial grass, but we ran out of time. They kindly assisted anyway told me that there would be no extra charge. Yet they made clear that they were not happy with low pricing of Angie's list deal... So I tipped them extra...

Description of Work: Ceiling in bathroom had water damage and was partially torn out for plumbing repairs. Progress repaired it better than new. Cleaned up afterwards also.

Description of Work: It was a pleasurable experience all around. The 2 men who came were very neat and professional and definitely got my "kitchen update" project underway.

Description of Work: Did many handyman jobs. Put in attic railing, fixed doors, repaired water damage in closet, replaced some bathroom tiles, installed faucets, a toilet, medicine cabinets and lights, other odds and ends. Everything turned out great.

Description of Work: I hired Ivan for a 6-hour special. He arrived with a co-worker, and said they would both work for 3 hours, and then see what they had finished, and what I wanted to do next. The scoped out the work to be done, which included moving an outlet, installing 3 shelves, 2 small cabinets, hanging 2 lamps from the ceiling, and I hoped some light painting. They felt the outlet work would be more difficult to do than they had imagined over the phone, and admitted they did not have the tools for it. So I had them focus on the remaining tasks - and imagined they would be able to finish most of it within the 6-man-hour window. Although they did fine work - the shelves, cabinets and lamps were very neatly and solidly installed - I was surprised that it took both of them working 4.5 hours to do those three tasks. It made me realize that I no longer wish to hire handymen by the hour, but by the project.

Description of Work: I contacted Progress initially on the 14/15th but wasn't sure of the exact timing of when we needed their services, but told them I would contact them in a week or so. When I contacted them back, they had scheduled many appointments and would only be available at times that conflicted with the work of others in our home. So while I still think this is a good deal it just won't work for us at this point.

Description of Work: It took a while before we could schedule an appointment, but once Ivan and Romain arrived, they haug a large mirror,repaired some wood trim, and fixed 5-6 doors that needed adjustments and triming to be able to open and close properly. They did a good job and are very personble earger workers.

Description of Work: Ivan and Roman were great. They worked for two hours on medium to small "handyman" type tasks, from fixing a ceiling fan to taking apart a piece of gym equipment and moving it into the basement. They were both helpful and dedicated to doing a good job. I also really appreciated their willingness to answer all my questions about the work and other potential, larger scale projects. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Diverse skills, didn't need handholding. The price isn't really a criticism since I didn't challenge the estimate; however I think for less money it wouldn't have been a quality job.
