Description of Work: I had some problems with my Broiler and the Plumber diagnosed it immediately It became apparent that the Plumber was very knowledgable and eager to assist. He repaired the problem (Changed the Tank) and provided a full maintenance check up on our system. Months later I had a pipe burst due to the extreme cold and my basement was flooded. Petri sent the same Plumber whom arrived within 2 hours and set things right. He repaired and insulated the pipe in a manner that I am sure never to experience that specific problem again. Needless to say, Petri is now my adopted Plumbers. I secured a warrantee program that they offered making sure that I can save should I ever need help.

Description of Work: We had them replace a pair of sink faucets (which we bought). The job did involve taking the antique sink apart--as well as related parts, and snake two drains. The plumber was here, charitably, 5 hours (4.5, less time to walk to the hardware store to get caulk). We were charged $2,000. If you think that's a good price, call 'em. I think it's an ugly ripoff and won't be. There was also some monkey business about e-mail. I gave the plumber two email addresses; he only sent his "bid" ($750 just for the faucet job) to one address, that had the actual address garbled. So we never got it. Then, to justify the pricing, plumber pulls out a book with a great long list of very specific jobs, each with a (very high) price. And he just adds them all up--as if the job wasn't cumulative! Replace your faucets. $750. In the process, replacing the pipe that runs from sink to wall. Another $350. Replace the valves. $350. Ridiculous ripoff

Description of Work: Replaced water heater (required that old heater be cut into pieces), repaired boiler, found and repaired a hidden water mixer that had caused problems for years. Very pleasant to work with. None of the usual plumber attitude.
