It was good, He was very good, no problems

He did a great job. He was quick, prompt, honest, and clean. He knew about the appliances and how to fix them. I found his prices to be fair. Everything you can ask for. We will definitely have Eddie do work for us in the future and I will recommend him to friends.

Very knowledgeable, only fixed what needed fixing (which was less than I thought).

Eddie came to look at my dishwasher and said I need a new motor which he can order and it will cost me $300. I paid him $40 for the diagnostics. He said he will let me know when he gets the part. After a week I called him and was told that he didn't get the motor yet. After that I was trying to contact him numerous times. If he answered the phone he would tell me he is still waiting for my part. After 2 more weeks of leaving messages for him I've finally gave up and ordered a new dishwasher. The way I see it Mr. Eddie just like to take the $40 and do nothing. He should return the payment to me. Very unprofessional! Why the busines like this gets overall rating of A with so many people complaining? I will never hire the company with less than A on your list.

TECHNICIAN, MATT DIAGNOSED PROBLEM (FOOD FREEZING IN REFRIGERATOR WITH SOME ICE BUILD-UP, NO WATER RUNNING THROUGH DISPENSER, LEAKING WATER FROM FILTER AREA) OWNER, EDDIE CALLED TO SAY HE ORDERED CONTROL ASSEMBLY, COST $300.00...I REMINDED HIM ABOUT $20.00 DISCOUNT FOR ANGIE'S CUSTOMERS HE WAS OFFERING...PRICE REDUCED TO $280.000. 2 TO 3 WEEKS LATER RECD CALL FROM EDDIE THAT PART. WHICH WAS BACK-ORDERED. HAD FINALLY BEEN DELIVERED. MATT CAME TO INSTALL THE TEMP CONTROL ASSEMBLY, WE SAW THAT WATER FILTER HOUSING WAS STILL LEAKING....MATT SAID IT WAS CRACKED DUE TO ICE BUILD-UP, AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. TWO DAYS LATER EDDIE CALLED TO SAY THAT COST FOR PART WAS $40.00, BUT THERE WOULD NOT BE A CHARGE FOR THE VISIT TO INSTALL IT. MATT CAME A FEW DAYS LATER TO INSTALL THE PART...HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND LEFT NO MESS TO CLEAN UP. THE FRIDGE HAS BEEN WORKING FINE.

I highly recommend this company. I also found that this firm offers a better guaranty than I've seen with other firms.

Had the needed part in his truck, in and out in less than 30 minutes. Good nature and professional presence. definitely have them return when, and if needed needed for our appliance repair.

Eddie turned up at the agreed upon time. He came with a consultative approach, something I appreciate. He asked questions about what was being experienced. He then went ahead and checked a few things to ensure correct operation. He checked the freezer thermostat. It had been replaced in the past with the wrong part. Eddie immediately saw this and even had a genuine factory part on hand that he was able to install right there and then! Eddie was very friendly, he did not hesitate to talk about what he was doing and made sure he had answered all of my questions before he left. I'll definitely be calling on Eddie again if I have any trouble with any of my appliances.

I called on Friday and Eddie was able to come out the next morning to check on the problem. He was very punctual and even gave me a call before hand to let me know he was on his way. The problem with the dishwasher turned out to be an electrical problem. He did mention that the latch on the door was getting harder to close and that if I wanted that fixed, he'd have to order a new door panel. However, there's no pressure to get that done. The same went for the dryer. He suspected that the timing mechanism would need to be replaced and that would also have to be ordered if I wanted to get that fixed. To make sure, he stayed 5-10 minutes to verify that was indeed the problem and not something else. He told me the drying part will work fine without the timing mechanism but I won't have the luxury of the dryer stopping itself. Again, no pressure to get that done whatsoever. He added that he can credit the $40 service call fee to the cost of the parts and labor if I should decide to go ahead with the repairs. I would absolutely go with him if I should decide to get those two things fixed.

Eddie had the needed parts and fixed the problem. My tenants said he was responsive and easy to make an appointment with.

It went very well. He went out of his way for me I called him late at night and he came over, out of his way to help me out. Above and beyond service, and would highly recommend him.

After following his instructions, he arrived promptly and fixed our refrigerator as well as our defroster control. He was prompt, and serviced us quickly. Simply put, this was an excellent service. I would happily recommend him to anyone who asks.

Eddie was honest and truthful about the state of my refrigerator

Mr. Roth responded to my call for service soon after I called for service. He had asked a few questions regarding my call for service which was about my dryer. It wouldn't heat up after I turned it on. Mr. Roth sent a technician to my home the following day. Mr. Roth called my home at the time he said he would, to inform me when the tech would arrive at my home which would be "...20-30 min." The tech arrived exactly then and he immediately checked out my dryer. He had told me what the problem was and explained that a repair could be made immediately by replacing a pair of burned out Solenoids. He took me step by step through his evaluation of the problem and showed me what parts were blown. He quickly replaced them and presto the dryer was as good as new. The service charge was $45, and the 2 parts and labor came to $100. The total was $145 (since I was a member of Angies list). Non-members would have paid $165. I was also given a receipt which gives a one year guarantee on parts installed. Needless to say I'm a happy camper. The tech acted in a efficient and professional manner. In short I had a great experience with Eddie's Modern Appliance service.

Eddie was an excellent service provider. He responded to my initial call quickly, set up an appointment for the next morning (at my convenience), arrived on time, did a thorough job and explained what caused the problem, an then charged a very fair price for his time. He definitely gets an A!

Eddie came to look at my broken washer and said he'd order a fuse and come back to replace it within a week. I called him multiple times and eventually caught him after 10 days. He apologized and said he'd call me right back to schedule the follow up. I never heard back and after 2 more weeks of leaving messages for him I've finally given up. What a frustrating experience.

all went well! eddie and his helper, showed up right on time. he knew what was needed and completed the job in 30 minutes. the igniter is guaranteed for 1 yr. they were very professional ,courteous,honest and reasonably priced. I'm going to tell my neighbors if ey need any repair of their appliances to call " eddie". i would give eddie a - AAAPLUS

Eddie was truly a dream. He came punctually when he said he was going to and quickly diagnosed the problem, which was that our loyal washing machine had reached the end of the line. He not only did not charge us, but actually recommended a solution to prevent this from happening again. He also recommended other brands that we could buy that would provide us with less of these types of problems in the future.

I came home after a long weekend to find my fridge was not working, although the freezer was still fine. I called Eddie's and he was able to diagnose the problem with my fridge over the phone. He told me clear everything out, unplug it and defrost the whole refrigerator. The following day he arrived, determined the cause of the problem and fixed everything all within an hour. My refrigerator is back to its old self.

I called Eddie at around noon asking about a problem with my dryer. He told me that he was actually in my neighborhood and could stop by later in the day. At around 4 he gave me a call and said that he was on his way. He arrived with a younger man and they listened to my dryer. He let me know that the problem was not with the dryer, but a fan inside the wall and that I should call a contractor. After putting a few stickers on the washer and dryer with his information, he told me that he wouldn't charge me for the 5 minute visit. Overall, he was extremely nice, professional, and I would use him for any appliance repair in the future.

The appointment went fine. He satisfied the toughest critic my wife. We would use Edde's again without hesitation.

I dealt with Eddie last year and I was happy with his service. Our washing machine stopped running and gave error codes, it was locked up. As much as I liked Eddie's service we needed service right away and Eddie was booked up and he is really not in my neighborhood, so I figured I would go back on Angie's list and find an expert like Eddie in my neighborhood. Big Mistake, I called a company, made an appointment, one of their technicians showed up, he was here for a while and but could not give me a definitive answer as to what the cause was of the machine not working. He told me I might need to replace two computers, not being specific but very vague, he was suggesting to me that I get a new washing machine. I almost threw it out. I figured I'd give Eddie a call see what he thought. I really didn't think he would want to come after hearing that I and another technician here. He asked for the codes, called me back, told me the part needed to be ordered, he was able to diagnose my machine over the phone correctly. He came with the right part, installed it and was done in under half hour. Eddie is a professional. Lesson learned if he is booked up, just make the appointment and wait.
