Fantastic! Mr. Roth came promptly, fully masked, and completed the repair (installed new oven igniter) - on a 26 year old oven! The manufacturer isn't even in business anymore, and he was still able to get it working again. Would highly recommend this company. Reasonably priced, too!

Eddie expertly found the culprit that was causing our oven to smoke and put everything back together quickly. Also, he removed a slew of socks, etc. that had fallen in between the washing machine basin and the outer shell. He was super professional and gave some good advice. We would absolutely hire him again and definitely recommend him for any repairs.

Eddie was very professional and efficient. He came out on Saturday morning to fix my oven. Repair was completed with 15 - 20 minutes. I wish I contacted Eddie sooner!

Extremely well. I contacted Eddie on Saturday. We made an appointment for Monday morning. He showed up right on time. He was very quick in discovering and fixing the problem (igniter was melted) and explained it all along the way. Tested the oven and showed me results when done. All very quick and affordable.

Fabulous! I called Eddie Friday. He kept in touch for next day appt. Eddie was polite, responsive. He seemed to magically fix the dryer, wonderfully consulting on its issues with my daughter. He honestly said it needed nothing at this time. Charged minimal service call fee which he will deduct if future problem. Eddie went immediately to work, had the necessary tools, and seemed to know very much what he was doing. He was great with my usually shy daughter and her cats!

Our washing machine would not drain. Eddie contacted us promptly and told us he would come before noon tomorrow. He called at 8:30 AM and said he was on his way and arrived a few minutes later. He said 30 years experience told him what the problem was and he came with the needed parts. He went right to work and less than half an hour later he had the washer fixed. The repair cost was very reasonable and we were very happy that our problem was fixed so fast. We would definitely use Eddie's Modern Appliance Service again and recommend him to our friends.

My mother's oven was broken for 2 weeks and her landlord told her that it couldn't be fixed and they wanted to trash it, I purchased the over for her a few years ago and I knew it could be fixed. I reached out to Angie's List because I heard great things about their services and one of the Pros and they connected me to Eddie's Modern Appliance Service. Eddie reached out to me immediately and scheduled my appointment for two days later, He gave me a quick quote and informed me that it may change depending on the problem. Eddie then called the next morning (in the middle of a hurricane in NYC) and informed me that a spot opened and he was able to come that day. Which I really appreciated. He arrived 20 mins later and fixed the stove within 20 mins. And it is working amazingly! Eddie was so professional and prompt and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

Eddie came and replaced the heating element which resolved the issue. He was knowledgeable, on time and took care of the issue for my tenants right away. I was very happy with his service and highly recommend him for future jobs.

I requested a quote for the repair or replacement of my dishwasher. He wouldn't even entertain the job or even offer a meaningful solution. It was a waste of time.

FIRST TIME USERS OF ANGIE'S LIST. OUR EXPERIENCE TODAY WAS GREAT. EDDIE WAS PROMPT, CURTEOUS, AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT HIS CRAFT. HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE OVEN AND BROUGHT THE CORRECT PARTS WITH HIM. THE STOVE WAS IN WORKING ODER WITHIN HALF AN HOUR. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM AND NOT HESITATE TO CALL HIM AGAIN. THE FEE WAS REASONABLE ALSO.

Oven stopped heating. Contacted Eddie's Appliances. Eddie arrived in a few hours, gave us an estimate, we approved the work and in less than 1 hour our oven was fully operational, again. Eddie was knowledgeable, fair and professional. This review is asking me to rate price. I honestly don't know what the average cost is for repairing oven ignition. I do know that we felt the price was good and recognize that the business provider needs to make some profit. We would absolutely take advantage of his expertise, again, and are happy to recommend this good man.

Eddie was very helpful and patient with questions being asked, as my husband attempted to fix the machine, but to no avail. He let us know that we may want to consider buying a new machine as the cost of the repair was expensive. We spoke a couple more times and we decided to proceed with the repair. He informed us sometimes there could be damage to parts when it is in delivery transit- he would check before bringing it to house, so not to waste anyones time. It arrived in good condition, appt was set. He was punctional and the job was done neatly and proffesionally. I highly recommend his servives. Thank you Eddie!
