He told me he could come on Saturday before 1 and that he would call me when he was on his way. I called him again on Saturday and he said I was next on the list but that he was in the middle of a job which he needed to complete. I indicated I had to leave the house by 1:15. He said he might be able to come later in the day or on Monday (holiday). I arranged for someone else to come at 1:15 and left a message for Eddie notifying him of the arrangement. That was the last I heard from Eddie although I left him another message asking if he wanted to reschedule or if I should try to find someone else. He did not reply. I was surprised as I had had a prior positive experience in 2014.

Accurate diagnosis over the phone, and able to fix the problem quickly at the appointment.

Eddie talked to the tenant over the phone while she stood in front of the fridge to try to diagnose the problem before he arrived at the house. He was very good about working with the tenant on scheduling etc as I was at work and couldn't be around to let him in to do the work. He was fast and everything is working now.

Came back until it was perfect for no additional charge. I think he is wonderful.

I called Eddie on Saturday morning and he called me back within 1/2 hour and committed to the job four days later. Over the phone, he diagnosed my problem and provided an estimate. He worked with my schedule and arrived on time for the job. Just has he stated over the phone, the igniter was bad and he replaced it and was in and out within 15 minutes. I am very pleased with Eddie's work and will definitely use him again in the future!

Eddie did a great job over 2 visits patiently diagnosing and fixing both the washing machine (a leaking hose) and, only because we mentioned it in passing, our oven (bad ignition switches). We would definitely call Mr. Roth again for any appliance repairs.

I called him and he asked to speak to the tenant directly. He called me back and requested authorization to order a part for the repair. Once the part was delivered, he called me back and the repair was scheduled. No hassles, quick and professional. I would hire him again.

Eddie was very responsive and honest in dealing with our oven that was not lighting. He came out on a Saturday. On the phone he had guessed that I needed a new igniter, which was approximately $150. Turns out I just needed a pilot light cleanout. He only charged me $60 instead of the $150 even though I wouldn't have known the difference. He followed up with me a week later to make sure everything was working properly. I appreciate Eddie's expertise and honesty and would definitely recommend him,

Eddie was extremely knowledgeable about my problem and knew how to fix it right away. He was punctual and gave me a good price. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone.

I called him and described the situation and he came by within an hour. He fixed it very quickly and for what seemed to be a reasonable price (total $190 including tax and a new part). Hopefully it will be all that is needed - but he gave a year warranty, just in case.

GREAT! Eddie diagnosed the problem over the phone and didn't charge for the advice. It would have cost $50 for him to come over to the house and tell me to do the same thing. It was a simple fix. I just needed to completely defrost the freezer and fridge for 5-6 hours. Something to do with how the cooling mechanism is designed in top-freezer Frigidaire's. Apparently it is a common problem but with a simple fix. Eddie just made a customer for life :) Any other appliance issues in the future, I'll call Eddie. He's earned my confidence and trust.

Service was excellent! Prompt, reliable and a quick repair.

He came in very quickly and fixed the range. It was a simple fix and gave me some advice how to stay ahead of it next time. The fridge was a little more complicated, but we fixed it until we can find a better solution. He was timely and nice! Job well done!

Eddie was great! He was quick to respond, and quick to diagnose the problem. He gives it to you straight, and won't try to up-sell you on services or parts you don't need, which I really appreciate. Other reviews had said the same thing, which is why I called Eddie, and why I wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

If you're looking to burn a day of vacation sitting at home waiting for your repair guy to never show up then Eddie's the guy for you!!! Three weeks ago I called Eddie to come fix my freezer. He called the day of trying to get out of it claiming to have an "allergy attack." After pushing him, he finally shows and fixes the freezer... sort of. But two weeks later the problem has returned so I call Eddie again to fix what he failed to fix the first time. He promises to show on Wednesday before 1pm, so I take the day off from work. At 1pm I call him and he says he's "on his way, your next on the list." Then he never shows and he stops picking up my calls. If you want an unreliable, unprofessional repair guy with no respect for your time or pride in his work, give him a call!

It went very well, Eddie diagnosed the problem, made the repair and wanted to make sure that everything was ok.

Great! Came even sooner than I expected and was able to identify and repair the problem quickly. He also checked some other things out my fridge and gave me some good advice.

Called for service and left a message. His return call was shortly after. Set up appointment for the next day. Eddie called when he was at his stop before me said about an hour. He came in diagnosed the the problem and fixed it in no time. If all repairmen would be like him it would be great. Could not recommend anyone more highly.

The provider was professional.He explained what was wrong. He answered my questions.

During the phone call arranging the appointment he stated the conditions of service so that there would be no surprises. He asked what brand my oven is. He came well within the agreed time frame--before 10 AM-- and he called prior to coming to the house. He quickly diagnosed the problem--a worn ignition-- and he had the part in his truck. He gave me the price which included labor. In 20 minutes or so I had a functioning oven.

Based on the reviews on Angie's I called Eddie to fix an LG dryer. He said it needed a part, which he ordered, and then came ten days ago to install it. The part didn't fit so he called LG for instructions but got frustrated ("I don't have time to be on hold") and left, saying he'd let me know when he got through to them. I have not heard a word since and he has not responded to emails or calls. I finally had to call another repair service, which told me that in any case he was looking at the wrong thing. He was rude and unprofessional, nothing like the reviews I read. Very strange behavior.

My tenant told me that the burners of his stove worked and the pilot light was on but the oven wouldn't get hot. Sounded like it need a part replaced. I got Eddie from Angie's List. He came out with the part he thought was needed, after asking me the make of the stove. But when he looked at the oven, he said it was too filthy to work on. So embarrassing. I hadn't seen the stove before calling him. But he didn't charge me. This man is REALLY HONEST. I would definitely call him again. He's very professional, called when he was on his way and again when he arrived and is pleasant to work with. I'm just sorry my tenant is so dirty and didn't even bother to clean the stove in advance after complaining to me about the problem.

This man is very honest. SOME OTHER REPAIR GUY told us we needed a new stove (BS). That the safety valve was shot, and we needed a new set. Eddie came in and told us the truth - the ignition pipe was full of ash. He cleaned it up and got our stove running again. THANKS EDDIE !
