Appliances connection gave helpful product information, and arranged for free shipping and delivery into our home for our new Maytag washer. Delivery might have been faster had we not requested to come after our holiday vacation. Very good price and service. Also, the Washer is great. It washes well and much faster than I expected! Did 4 king-size sheets in 47 minutes, large towel loads, set on "normal". We're very happy with this washer, and our experience with Appliances Connection was terrific. They are professional and courteous.

I will never order anything from Appliances Connection ever again because of delays and abysmal customer service. My washer broke on November 14th. I immediately began searching for a replacement, and Appliances Connection was the only store that carried a washer and dryer that would fit in the location (Blomberg WM72200W and Blomberg DV17600W). I ordered the washer, dryer, and the recommended accessories on November 14th. All items were listed as being in stock. I received no information from Appliances Connection for several days. On November 18th, I called to inquire as to when the washer and dryer would be delivered. I was then told that the dryer was out of stock, but they could split the order so that I could get the washer. I agreed. Almost a week later, on November 24th, the delivery had still not been scheduled. I called Appliances Connection and was told that the washer would be delivered that week. This was surprising, as it was Tuesday of Thanksgiving week, and no delivery had been scheduled. On Friday, November 27th at 8:13 AM, I was informed via email that delivery would be made that day between 2 pm and 6 pm. The washer was delivered by two personnel from YF Logistics – one who was not wearing a mask. They installed the washer and took the dyer away. I agreed that the dryer could be removed because it was my understanding the new dryer would be delivered in the near future. The delivery personnel advised me to make sure I had a stacking kit for the dryer. After the delivery personnel left, I called Appliances Connection to confirm a stacking kit was included and was told the kit was included by the manufacturer. The phone representative also told me the dryer had been shipped to YF Logistics the prior Wednesday. The following week, on December 2nd, I had not received any information from Appliances Connection or YF Logistics about the delivery of the dryer. I called Appliances Connection and was told the dryer would ship that Friday, December 4th. This was confusing and frustrating given I had been told the dryer had already shipped. I expressed my frustration for Appliances Connection’s failure to update me on the status of the order. The representative offered me a 10-year warranty for the dryer and eventually offered a 10-year warranty for both items. After hanging up, I received an email telling me I needed to post a review to get the warranty. When I objected to the email, the representative responded it was “her bad” and she had sent the wrong template. On December 15th, a month after ordering the dryer, I received a phone call and an email notifying me the dryer would be delivered on Saturday, December 19th. The email did not list a stacking kit, so I called YF Logistics and Appliances Connection to confirm the stacking kit would be included. Appliances Connection assured me that it would be, and I could call if it was not included. However, Appliances Connection is not open on Saturdays, so the ability to call was meaningless. When the delivery personnel arrived with the dryer, they brought it upstairs and told me there was no stacking kit in the box. I told them I had called Appliances Connection and YF Logistics to confirm the kit would be included, and the delivery personnel told me there was nothing they could do. They told me not to use the washer or dryer because the dryer could fall. They provided no information about how or when I could get the kit. Several hours after they left, I realized I did not have the manual. I opened the dryer and found the manual and the stacking kit. If the delivery personnel had done their jobs, and if Appliances Connection had trained them properly, they would have known where the kit was and installed it. Instead, I’m left with a washer and dryer that has not been properly installed, and it took more than a month to get it. In hindsight, I wish I had remodeled my house to fit a larger washer and dryer. It would have been a more pleasant experience than dealing with Appliances Connection, and I suspect the situation would have been resolved sooner.

I ordered a sofa and needed to get delivery straight to my apartment (White Glove Delivery). I called customer service and didn't wait long to talk to one of their agents who was very helpful and followed through on communicating with me to help. I ordered my appliance by phone due to Covid-19. I thought I was ordering from a local store Appliance Connection (VA), but mistakenly ordered from Appliances Connection (Brooklyn, NY) who assured me the delivery would come from their local warehouse. Their delivery people (YF Logistics/New Jersey) may be able to install simple delivery + plug-in installs, but lacked the skills to install a built-in appliance. I ended up having to hire my own installers at an additional expense.

I bought a gas dryer that needed a LP gas converter. I forgot to order until the dryer was delivered. I quickly called Appliances Connection to order that part which they didn’t have or couldn’t locate anywhere. I asked to return my dryer as it’s useless to me and the said because the dryer was out of the box, they wouldn’t take the return. I would highly recommend buying your appliance elsewhere even if their price is better. If any issues arise, you will regret you decision.

The range was damaged and in order to do something while their truck was still her, I had to take a picture of the damage and send it to them. We went back and forth. They finally decided to send me a side panel. The Maytag man said it was the wrong panel and could not install it. They refunded me 50-100 and I kept the damaged stove, but it was not what I really wanted.

just plain horrid. no follow up, no delivery date for two weeks, and this is after I called almost every day to ask for status on my order. MY Sales person actually said " I do not handle customer service" Finally got delivery date for last saturday ( May 17) confirmed delivery with service department friday, as we had to drive over 2 1/2 hours after work friday from our home to get to delivery site. I called trucking company saturday am at 910 am, only to be told that Appliances connnection did not release my dryer from their warehouse and no delivery would be made. Could not contact appliances connection company due to closed on saturday, spoke to sales person on sunday, again " not my job to help with customer service"....had to wait until monday to speak to customer service people, on hold for over 1 hour! actual time, and finally was able to CANCEL order after being handed off to various "supervisors" with much difficulty of having to tell the same story over and over again.... now here is the kicker...that same monday afternoon, I called AJ madison ( another similar on line appliance company in nyc area) to order the exact same high end washer and dryer, at same price and it is now sitting in my home after a 72 hour turn around from order to delivery and install. THEIR sales person assisted with order from start to finish. Sales person made customer service his job!

Terrible. Even though I paid for expedited service -- it took weeks. They charged me $275.00 to delivery it to the second floor -- even though their Web site said it would be $25 and they told me it would be free or $25 by phone. They didn't send the promised faucets. And -- it was only 58.5". This obviously left HUGE gaps on each side of the vanity in the niche. Then, they hassled me endlessly about the return, denying it several times. Eventually they agreed -- but they only refunded the cost of the vanity -- not the shipping. The same was true for the stone, except now they claim it was broken when they opened the box, despite no damage to the box -- so no refund for me. At this point, they owe me close to $500 for the stone, and another nearly $400 in shipping -- not to mention the other costs I have encountered along the way. And, by the way, HomeDepot.com delivered a 61" vanity and similar trim stone to the very same bathroom, the vanity measured 61". It fit exactly as it should. And they instantly accepted a return of the extra piece of stone I ordered. This order should have been that simple in every respect.

I shopped online for my Summit refrigerator and found AppliancesConnection had the best price so I decided to try them. For my first delivery date they called me to cancel since the fridge they had was damaged. I appreciate that they called me first thing in the morning to tell me that. We rescheduled a week later, their delivery people came during the window they told me, and delivery people were very professional and fast. For just $20 I added the additional service of them taking away my old broken fridge. Overall I had a good experience with AppliancesConnection and I would use them again. I did NOT like however, how they emailed me following my purchase that if I gave them a positive online review about how easy the purchase process was, they would speed up my shipping. First of all, that's ridiculously misleading to other consumers and I ignored the email. There is no way I'm going to give your company a review anytime sooner than completion of service. But the next day I got an email saying my fridge was coming sooner than expected anyway - so the review wouldn't have even made a difference, they already gave me fast service. I think the fishing for positive reviews online is a dirty practice, and just falsely ups their ratings on other review sites. You shouldn't have to bribe your customers for reviews, just give good service, just as you provided me with, and I'm happy to recommend you.

This has been the worst experience I have had with a company. I ordered my refrigerators and parts in March and received the refrigerators a couple weeks later. I then realized the installation kit was back ordered. I kept checking the website and it kept getting pushed back later and later. This is for a new construction home so three months later I really needed this part to install the refrigerators. I called the company and asked them to look into this further as we really needed this part and it was "Back ordered" for 3 months. They said they did, but apparently they did not. They also told me I didn't need the part. I called the manufacturer to verify and they said I definitely need the piece as it goes between the refrigerators as a "sweat" panel. I also asked if they had any in stock. They gave me a number for Almo Distributing and I called them. They very nicely said they did have them in stock and set one aside for me to have Appliances Connection put in the order for this item. I was shocked they didn't have an order on file. I called Appliances connection and gave them the information. The person on the phone was helpful and said he would order it asap and ship overnight. I called a few days later to see why we hadn't received the part and they said it was being shipped. I had to get them to look into it further to see it was being shipped ground to their warehouse. Then they told me they would not overnight ship the part even though we have waited just short of 4 months. The part is still in their warehouse waiting to be shipped ground. I am still waiting to get this installed to move into my new home. Their customer service manager was very rude and refused to help and refused to pay for overnight shipping. Cost of overnight shipping is less than $50. I spent over $12,000 with this company.

Order took months to ship despite all items being listed as "In Stock" when ordered. Every time we called we were told our items would be shipping within days only to have the ship date pushed back again once the promised date passed. All 3 appliances ordered arrived damaged, fridge and stove with cosmetic damage, and dishwasher leaked water all over our floor and cabinets. The dishwasher was clearly damaged internally during freight according to a Bosch technician (whom we had to pay $100 to examine it) yet AppliancesConnection refuses to issue a refund unless we ship the unit back at our expense. Return shipping plus the Bosch technician fee would represent 30%+ of the total cost of the dishwasher. To date we've spent nearly 100 hours dealing with this situation, originally with AppliancesConnection directly and then through the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's Office. Throughout the process AppliancesConnections employees have lied repeatedly both to us and to the 3rd parties we've brought in to help. In addition to their repeated dishonesty the employees we've dealt with from AppliancesConnection have been incredibly rude, sometimes to the point of belligerence. I can not stress highly enough how awful AppliancesConnection has been to deal with. We have lost 10 times the amount we saved on our appliances in time, effort, and frustration.

Placed order on June 8th. The delivery estimate was 3 weeks but received it all by June 21st. The price blew every other retailer out of the water.
Description of Work: I purchased a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and over the range microwave and I was told it could take up to 3 weeks. I had the appliances within 10 days. The delivery guys took the product out of the box and allowed me to inspect the product. It cost an extra $75 dollars for delivery but I saved about $500 dollars by using them versus other brick and mortar retailers. I would buy from them again.

I bought a refrigerator from this company. After placing the order, the shipping on my product was delayed, this wasn't a big deal. However, when the delivery men brought this item into my home, they didn't use a dolly and scratched my hardwood floors and chipped my crown molding. The delivery men had no idea what they were doing, took almost 3 hours at which time they damaged my floors, dropped the appliance, chipped my molding and were arguing with one another. I have never had such a terrible experience with a delivery company. I called the customer service at Appliances Connections and informed them of the damage to my home. After 2 days of being put on hold for over 10 minutes I was connected with the shipping manager. This man (Mr Silvia) told me that the company they use for shipping and Appliances Connection wasn't liable for damage to my home. He told me the only thing that could be done was to submit a claim through my home owners insurance. This was unacceptable and I told him this. It's not fair that I would have to file a claim through my policy and pay a deductible for negligence on their part. He then threatened me that if further pursued this that the delivery men could claim injuries and that I would be held responsible. He was obviously trying to bully me but all he did was further implicate himself and demonstrate what anyone would consider to be BAD BUSINESS. I would gladly have paid the extra money to avoid dealing with a company like this. Not only was my home damaged, but the Shipping manager from Appliances Connections, Mr Silvia, threatened me with fraudulent claims in trying his very best to avoid responsibility for significant damages to my home. I have pictures and the signature of the delivery men verifying these damages.
