We renovated two bathrooms and the outcomes are outstanding! The projects were started on time and completed on time. The workers were extremely professional, punctual and kept work areas clean and tidy. Mobarek was extremely personable and easy to work with. We would definitely hire this company in the future and would highly recommend them to other homeowners.

Mobarek and his crews were extremely helpful to me when I purchased my small apartment in Brooklyn. Over the course of one afternoon, they switched out and installed a toilet, a bathroom ventilator fan, a shower head, a bathroom light fixture, a new kitchen sink, and a new kitchen faucet. a few days later, Tómas and Diego came over to paint the apartment and made it look so much better. I highly recommend A&J General Construction. The prices were very fair.

I hired A&J in October 2017 to seal my deck. They were courteous and professional. Six months later, spring 2018, cracks started showing on the deck, exposing the wood. The paint quality was below par. Multiple calls over the span of two months went unaddressed, followed by a series of excuses. When they finally showed up, they merely patched the exposed wood. Few days later more paint peeled off. I do not recommend this company.

Despite some glitches, A+J were sincere and responsive. The workers were incredibly respectful and well-mannered, and in the end they did a thoroughly professional job.

Such great work! Very capable and kind crew, great at helping to source materials, and worked very hard to get me exactly what I wanted!

They were very prompt and did a very nice job and the men cleaned up after the job, it looked like there was no work done....i hired them for a cement job in the backyard and they were quick and very good, i will definitely hire again when needed, they do all kinds of contracting work and the owner seems to be a very honest man.

A&J showed up on time, and was quick with professionalism.

Contractor changed the negotiated payment schedule. Contractor did not measure the door entrance properly for machine access. Contractor placed carpet protector after two trips over carpet without it. Contractor left exposed and falling loose fiberglass insulation for one week before returning to cover holes. Very sloppy application of joint compound, never using mesh to help cover large holes around plumbing/electric holes. They were all pleasant but they were really incompetent, careless, and generally a bad option
