Owner Mubarak was prompt to respond and courteous, Workers were careful while digging out old, deteriorated cellar steps and finishing the space with cement and new bricks. They did their best to work carefully and tidily, were very polite to deal with. I am grateful that they agreed to remove several enormous rocks encountered unexpectedly while excavating, The removal involved extra effort and extra manpower but they did it.

A & J contractor was the best contractor I ever used. I had to redo a hallway in my building. I received a really good estimate from Mobarek. I admit I was skeptical at first and wasnâ t going to use him. I thought once he got started he would find other ways to increase the bill. So glad I decided to use him. No pressure. He wasnâ t hounding me all the time for money. Worked with me with payments that was good for me. His guys kept the hallway nice and clean. They cleaned up after each working day. I didnâ t hear one complaint from my tenants. While he was working in the building he took on two other projects that needed to be done. He did some electrical and plumbing work. Once again reasonably priced for the extra work. Highly recommend. Definitely using them again for future projects

I am new in NY and I had lot of work to be done in my backyard. I need to put concrete flooring, removed old fence, put new fence and add a Gazebo. I got lot of quotes from other Home Advisor contacts but A and J quoted the best and no bargaining. A and J was very professional, no back and forth change in plans, cleaned after work. Due to sudden plans I had to leave the town early and he made sure he put more men and finished work earlier than he promised. Apart from the backyard work, since it is a new house I had lot of other minor work like electricity panels, sheet work, painting and tree cutting. This company has crew in all fields and got the job done quickly at fair price. My backyard looks completely different now and it was done within the estimate provided by the company. Excellent work, professional, reasonable cost!! Definitely will hire again in future for any construction related work.

We hired A&J to remove an old fence and build a new, high fence. Mo and his workmen did a fabulous job . Mo listened carefully to what we needed, helped us choose materials and executed the construction exactly as we envisoned. The crew worked efficiently and left a clean site. So we hired them again to scrape and repaint our fire escape. Again, excellent work. Reasonable cost, excellent workmanship! Will hire again.

Mr. Ullah's company, A&J, did very fine work. Mr. Ullah, alone among other contractors, was open-minded and creative in dealing with a novel situation, specifically, creating a navigable ladder/stairway for a roof deck. He listened to my concerns and worked with me to address them, even though they entailed modifications to the original contract. He's also a nice guy.
