Description of Work: We had some friends assist us in taking our wall air conditioner to Mike's A/C Repair shop. The A/C was blowing hot air. Cory assisted us with having the A/C evaluated, & then called us with the problem & price to fix. The air conditioner is 5/6 yrs. old, & needed to be cleaned, & have Freon added to operate again. Work took about 3 days, as they were backed up. Cory called us each day to update us, & when they finished we arranged to pick up. A/C works fine so far, 'brrrr'.:-) We are satisfied & yes, we would recommend them.

Description of Work: I emailed them about an AC unit that appeared to have mold in it. Even though the summer heat had already started bearing down, I heard back from them right away and they were ready to pick up the unit, clean it, and re-install it. I decided to defer the work until the fall and have all my units cleaned at once, just rely on my ceiling fan for this summer since I'll be away much of the time. Prices were market rate, and all my questions were answered. Will definitely use in the fall.

Description of Work: The company installed two window unit air conditioners. I had a 2-6 pm window for the job. I was originally told it could be as late as 6 pm with 45 minute installation of each unit. I arrived home from work a little before 2 pm and received a call that they would arrive in about 10-15 minutes. They did arrive promptly and installed both units within the hour. Amazing experience. Great team. Very professional. Great job and highly recommended.

Description of Work: Purchased a new air conditioner from them, which they delivered and installed. They removed the broken AC which it replaced. This is the second air conditioner I purchased from this company. The first one was 11 years ago. Since I had a good experience the first time, I was pleased to be able to deal with the same company all these years later. I spoke with the owner over the phone. He assessed the situation and advised me of his recommendation. The workmen showed up when expected, did the work professionally and quickly and with a minimum of mess. The unit they installed is quiet and powerful. Since I just got it yesterday, I cannot attest to its longevity. But I feel confident dealing with a family owned company that has been around for over 40 years. I feel as if they have more of a stake in maintaining their reputation than a big corporation without local roots. As far as the price I paid, I imagine I could have saved some money if I had been a more persistent shopper. But this was not a purchase that could be delayed, since we are in the heart of summer, and the ease and efficiency of the purchase were also worth something.

Description of Work: This was awhile ago, so my memory has faded a bit, but they certainly gave great service when we were backed into a corner, and were lifesavers. Our AC broke in the middle of a heatwave; they couldn't fix it, but provided us with a used machine in great condition, at a price that didn't gouge us or take advantage of our desparation in the terrible heat. Recommend.
