ACCURATE APPLIANCE REPAIR

Scheduling an appointment was very easy. Repairman (Ronnie) came on time. He examination was thorough and determined that the igniter had to be replaced . He was very polite and the repair was competed very quickly. I would use them again.

They are quite willing to suggest a range of repair options ranging from "you don't need it fixed now" to "I can do this instead of that and it will cost you..." to "you'll need this fixed soon too...but not yet". I have been using them for quite a while.

This is a family business. My dishwasher hose had come off where it attaches to the drain, and my own repair had not lasted. So, after a flood, I called Accurate. Joe responded to my call late yesterday evening and said he would come by in the morning. He did as promised, calling me shortly before arriving. He put on additional clamps. I then asked him to look at a couple of other things. I had had my washing machine fixed some years ago by someone else, and after the repair, the cycle starting points on the control knob, signaled by a click that you can feel when you turn the knob, did not line up with the cycle starting points written on the machine. As a result I had only been using one cycle -- I couldn't figure out where the others started. This is one of those things that are kind of annoying, but one wouldn't call someone specially to fix. Joe fixed this for me in a few minutes. He also advised me about the ignition on one of the burners on my Bosch sealed top stove, and showed me how better to light it using an electric sparker pistol I had bought.

A representative from the Staten Island office came to my home for an estimate. He thoroughly explained the problem and all my options. He quoted me a very reasonable price for repair, and gave me an honest analysis of the pros and cons. Also very courteous and punctual. Joe and his assistant, Ken did a great job. They diagnosed the problem immediately and had the parts in their vehicle to replace the fan. Previously I had used a company recommended by GE with whch I had a service contract. The refrigerator despite being new was constantly breaking down about every 9 months and then being repaired under the terms of this contract with GE Assurant Solutions. In 2012 after the contract was finished, I joined Angie's List and located Accurate Appliance Repair for the next breakdown. Not only was their service prompt, professional and courteous, the price was reasonable and I have not needed to have work done over and over. The refrigerator has operated efficiently for the last 2 years and 6 months. I will call them now for my GE Profile stove as well as the refrigerator. However, I will not be purchasing anymore GE appliances.

Joe arrived promptly and assessed the problem immediately. He took apart my whole washing machine, showed us all the damaged parts that needed replacing, explained everything patiently (and answered all our questions!). He did an amazing job of repairing the machine and was also extremely friendly, well-spoken and personable. A-plus for everything! I only wish I had known about this company years ago. A real gem -- highly recommended!

The minute Joe looked at our dishwasher, he diagnosed the problem. He had the required part in his truck and installed it right away. We got a 3-year guarantee. (He gave us the broken part) We got same-day service on a Saturday and the dispatcher was very courteous and called us back to tell us that the technician would come the same day, and again to let us know that he was on his way. It is extremely rare to get such professional and courteous service. We recommend Accurate Appliance Repair highly and will definitely use them again should we need any repairs of our appliances in the future.

I called at 9 a.m. They said the repairman would arrive between 10 and 1 and he was there a few minutes after 10. He clearly explained what was needed and what he was doing. He spent extra time making sure everything worked perfectly, testing and retesting after he installed the new part. I was very impressed by his care. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them.

Since our previous experience was such a positive one, we called Accurate Appliance Repair when our oven wasn't working. It was a Sunday after a snowstorm and not an emergency, so we left a message. Virginia called first thing Monday morning to set up an appointment and had one schedule within a 3 hour time frame on the day we requested. Anthony (who previously repaired our washing machine) showed up within 15 minutes of the beginning of the time frame given and had the job diagnosed, repaired, and cleaned up within 30 minutes for a fair price. Again, he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't leave a mess behind for us to clean up. Again, he gave helpful information for future use and self-maintenance of our oven. I'm happy to have their number for future use. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have used them before and when Joe came out, he even remembered things that he had fixed before. He knew exactly what was wrong with my washing machine, fixed the problem, and even did some work on my dryer. It was very reasonably priced, he was very nice, and I was pleased with his service.

Accurate returned our call and made it to our home that day. They checked the appliance and told us the motor was shot. Our choice...new motor or new appliance. No bull...strait up ...

I have used them before for my dishwasher and the ice-maker on my fridge. In the case of the ice maker the serviceman tried everything possible and refused to give up even though it could not be fixed. He even contacted the manufacturer for help. They are now our go-to company for all repairs.

The technician arrived on time and diagnosed the problem with hast. Fixed the problem with accuracy and speed and even assessed the machine's worth and suggested "keeping it as long as possible because it is a well made machine." Extremely good experience.

I had no cold water running on my G.E. top loading washing machine.The machine was not functioning on cold/cold or hot/cold settings. The provider arrived early .He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it.It took him less than 30 minutes.I was also given a guarantee for the replaced part.I've had no problems with the machine since.

She scheduled a prompt appointment and followed up as she said she would the say of the service. She gave a three hour window for our appointment Anthony, who repaired the washing machine, came well within that time period and actually completed the job before the end of the estimated timeframe. He was knowledgable, friendly, and did a very clean job. He did not leave a mess and wiped up any dirt that arose from his repair. He gave helpful information for future use of our machine. They also offer a 3 month guarantee on all of their repairs. I definitely would recommend them and use them again in the future.

It went very smoothly. They answered the phne promptly and because of the nature of the repair were able to squeeze me in for the next day. The repairman they sent was efficient and very friendly. I had confidenced in him right away. He came back the next day to finish the part replacement and was prompt and kind then too. Very impressed.
