ACCURATE APPLIANCE REPAIR

Our refrigerator's ice and water dispenser started spitting out ice and water on its own and eventually it stopped working all together. I selected Accurate Appliance because they are in Brooklyn and had received a good rating from Angie's List. Everyone that I interacted with at Accurate is very friendly, accessible, and professional, and the service that I received was excellent. Joe Reina, the repairman, diagnosed the problem quickly and left me a message early the next morning with the cost of the part and his fees, which were more than reasonable. I spoke to him later that day to sign off on ordering the part and was very happy to hear that he'd already taken the initiative to order it for me. Early the next morning, his office called to say that he could come by and install it within the hour. I couldn't be more pleased with how well that all worked out. I'll definitely use them for any other appliance repair issues that I have.

Accurate sent a repairman three hours after we called. He arrived on time and checked out our SubZero. He told us our problem was minor - that we dust was blocking the intake vents. He cleaned them out, charging us only the servcie charge instead of making up a problem and charging us for parts we didn't need. He told us we needed to get up on a ladder once a year and vacuum inside the unit. We didn't know we had to do this. We would definitely use them again.

The oven on my GE gas range stopped heating/igniting. I contacted Accurate based upon the reviews here and I'm very glad I did. I called on President's Day, left a non-urgent message, and fully did not expect to hear back about scheduling an appointment until the next day. Not only did they call me back on the holiday within 2 hours, they scheduled the service call for the next day. As promised, they called me at 9 am the next morning to narrow the appointment time to a two-hour window. Anthony said he would be at my apartment between 10am and noon and arrived at 10:15. By 11 am, my bake ignitor was replaced and my oven was working like new. So, just 24 hours after calling them as a brand-new customer on a holiday, my oven was fixed at a fair price. I absolutely will be using Accurate for all my appliance repairs from now on.

I selected them on the basis of positive Angie's list reports and their Brooklyn location. The refrigerator is in an apartment that we sublease. Accurate Appliance responded quickly to me and was able to schedule an appointment the next day. I never met the individual who did the repair, but our tenants reported he was prompt and thorough. The company sent me an invoice and I paid by check promptly.

I called them regarding repairs for a refrigerator. They promised they would call back . I never received a call back.

I think this was a very easy job, so it went perfectly well. I went very quick and was wonderful to have it fixed. I told them the details that the cycle was not completing and they knew right away from my description. They had the part in the truck. They were late for the appointment and I had to call them to find out, but it was understandable because they said that there was traffic or the other job took longer than expected. They offered me a senior citizen discount. I mentioned to a neighbor about my washing machine and the company I used and she said that they were great and she used them all the time.

He came-out and advised me that he couldn't do the job. He found that the valves were corroded, so he recommended a plumber to do the job. I would recommend both of them, as they ended up solving the problem together. They were excellent on all accords.

They were very good. They were very nice and they told me they couldn’t fix it once they looked it over well. They really tried and one guy even looked around and offered to fix something so that the service charge was worth something. If they actually fix something, the $50 comes off of the bill. They came when they said they would and they called to let me know.

Wonderful service. We called Accurate after a disappointing series of attempts to obtain service from another company. Accurate was responsive, prompt, competent and professional. In addition to all this, they were very respectful: we generally ask folks to remove their shoes before entering our house, and this can be a bit off-putting to some service people. However, the Accurate servicemen were very obliging about this. In addition, the dishwasher repair was very minor: a small piece of plastic or rubber from one of the items washed had gotten lodged in a way that prevented it from running properly. The serviceman removed the items (without embellishing the degree of difficulty) and charged a reasonable amount for the repair. They even looked at another item that was not included in the original scope of work and gave us an estimate on a future repair. Overall, they were very obliging and easy to work with. We would definitely call them again.

Fantastic in every way. Bake function broke on Friday. They came on time on Saturday. Had part and fixed it within an hour. They were prompt, cheerful & courteous. We could not have been more pleased. Gave a 3 month warranty with their work. Great people.

Again, great in every way, Broiler broke on Tuesday, they came on Saturday morning at our request. Right on time. Fixed it in less than an hour. Gave us a discount because of the recent unrelated work. Wonderful guys, knowledgeable, cheerful & courteous The company is now my "Go To" guys on all repairs that they do. I've used this company three times in three months they've always gone above and beyond. Simply the Best..

Great again in every way. Washer broker on Saturday, they came Monday night. Way above and beyond the call. We are so pleased with the owner. Again, as the other two times, prompt, courteous, tidy- could not have been better. They are the Best!

Things went smooth from the beginning. Two guys showed up, Joe and Eric. I explained the problem with both appliances and Joe told me what he could do to repair them. Eric replaced the old single heater with a new double heater on the refrigerator and Joe replaced the selector switch on the washer which had gone bad. They were in and out in less than an hour. Courteous, professional guys. I wouldn't have a problem calling them back for another job.

It went fine. He came with the part and fixed it on the spot. The only complaint was he charged $45 for the refrigerator he could not fix.

we called on a friday, when it became apparent that our food was not staying cold at all, and at first they told us that the earliest day they could come was monday. they called back within 10 minutes, however, and said there was a truck in the area and showed up within an hour. we had pretty much figured out what was wrong, but could not repair it ourselves. they were quick, courteous and professional.

They turned out to be excellent. I think they were punctual and professional. The problem stated on the phone by the person from Accurate Appliance turned out to be accurate, so he got the parts with him that were needed for the job. He did a good job and he cleaned up after himself. His price was reasonable too.

Called for appointment for repair of pilot light that kept blowing out. Was told that service charge would be $50, to be included in cost of repairs. Receptionist several times warned that my 45 year old stove was probably too old for parts to be available and that I might have to give up on the stove. Appointment made for next day. Repairman (John) called ahead, showed up on time, adjusted pilot light and the stove works! Only paid service charge.

Nice, prompt, efficient. A family business of two generations in two locations (also Staten Island).

But here's the rest of the story. I called another firm at the same time as I called Accurate. About two days later, a competitor, called and I told him what had happened; see above. I then told him that I didn't need his help. BUT GET THIS-- In a very nice way, he said that he'd worked on ovens of our type for years (Kitchenaid) and had always repaired them. He talked me into letting his repairman come over. The next day, the repairman came over, checked the exact type of Kitchenaid oven, and GET THIS, repaired the oven in 8 minutes. The cost: $90. These folks at the competitor's saved me no less than $900!

They accurately diagnosed the problems, repaired the machine in less than a half hour and instructed me about proper maintenance to keep it functioning well. I would confidently call them with any large appliance problem. They were friendly, courteous and efficient. Thoroughly satisfied with the service.

They responded promptly. They promised to come on Tuesday but was able to come on Monday. They are really professional and understanding people. I would highly recommend them.

The guy came out and looked at it, and he said I didn't really need this or that on it. It was a nice expensive refrigerator and he only actually had to replace one small part. It was such a no hassle experience and I would not hesitate to call this company again. I have had no problem since then. He did come out very quickly which was great as I had no refrigeration, and the refrigerator was full of food. This company was recommended to me by people in the neighborhood.

The repairman came within the estimated time frame. I called on Tuesday and the repair was done the very next day. My experience with this company was very favorable. The repairman was courteous and professional. I felt the price was very fair.

He was on time and checked our dishwasher out. He was professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would recommend him.
