212 HVAC

While I did not go with 212 in the end, their communication with me was on point! They performed an estimate for the job as scheduled--total professionals! I went with another reliable provider because of a lower price but had a great experience with 212. Thank you!

Overall the technician was very personable and explained everything that he saw and what he recommended to be done. Wasn't pushy and allowed me to ask for a quote as well as bargain on the price (which he didn't like). My only complaint is punctuality, if you are coming from Brooklyn to Queens at 2pm in the afternoon you should now to give yourself at least two hours. On both visits he was over an hour late.

Confirmed system works ok but need refrigerant. Explained and diagrammed my system in a way that I could understand.

Went well, rep arrived on time, explained how the evaluation would go, described what he was looking at and tested the system. Suggested follow up services with a quote. Follow up services were outside my current budget but would consider them in the future.

They were punctual and on time and identified the problem. There was some confusion on whether the payment was received through Angie's list or whether it had to be paid separately - however they were very understanding and accepted the payment from Angie's list - would definitely hire again!

Great. The exhaust pipes had not been cleaned in 20 years (I got reprimanded!). Since the cleaning, everything works so much better.

Called them for service, but they did not service my area. I received a refund. They took the appointment knowing they did not service my area.

They were terrible. They were absolutely terrible. They were just awful. They came, the first time they came they cleaned the system and charged a couple thousand dollars. They came and clean the system to make sure it was working. A week after they came and we started using it in June, end of May the beginning of June, the people upstairs their A/C died. So we called them up and they said you need a whole new unit. They wanted to replace the whole thing. We had just bought the house so we weren't going to replace it now. We had it on maybe a week, and it died. They made us wait 3 days for them to come, and said nope we are going to have to replace the whole thing, its gonna be $15,000 and we wont be able to start doing it for 2 weeks. I said you have to be kidding me, were not doing that. I would down grade their rating to a C. Here they were telling us it had to be replaced but really it didn't. We had also purchased a service contract. They said it would be 2 weeks, we purchased the service contract and we didn't get anything out of it. They didn't do anything. They made us wait 3 days, and then said nope you need a whole new system, and we will put it in for you. We also would have to wait for that, they weren't going to put it in right away. They were very professional, they were very nice. That was not the problem. They were lovely gentleman, I mean they were very very nice. No complaints there. Very sweet kids. They were not willing to, I do understand that they wanted to put in a new system and the other one was very old. But they could have gotten it back in order but they chose not to. We did have a service contract with them and they ended up blowing us off.

Went really well. Techs repaired my heat pump in two hours. My issue required them to call manufacturer to get some info on the unit which took an extra 30 minutes but after that it went smooth. They also gave me a few tips on how to maintain my system. Im happy with the service provided.

I called and set up the appointment and gave the reason for the appointment. A week later day of they called and said it would be tough to make another appointment so they asked to reschedule for any time I want. When that day came they called and said they would be late which conflicted with a later appointment. I then found out they don't even service or sell PTAC units. Never got a call back after they told me they couldn't make it. Just very unorganized service overall. When a customer goes out of their way to help your business you should do the same and they did the opposite of that. They were nice on the phone but that's about it.

Went well. A little pricey, but had no option to price compare. Furnace was out. Performance since has been a little choppy, but seems to be working with periodic rebooting.

Perfect, professional, and no up selling or suggesting to perform work that needed to be done!

They were very professional and even came back when they thought I was unhappy with the service and made sure that my A/C was running well. I will definitely use them again.

GREAT! They showed up, in the rain...went outside and checked the old Trane unit we have, then went into our attic - we have pull-down stairs, and it's semi-finished, so it's easy to access the main unit. They found that the overflow pipe was clogged - a usual problem with our system - unclogged it, and added refrigerant to the system. I asked them about the start-up 'buzz' noise, but they confirmed it sounded fine, and gave the whole system a clean bill of health! If this system eventually goes, I know whom I'll be calling on to install the new one! Very friendly, courteous, professional guys, and seemed to be extremely knowledgeable.

Perfectly! No up sales, said everything was running fine, but that I had a little less refridgerant than is typical but didn't recommend I add any as it was just "a little" below the norm.

My issue was resolved, and I will most likely use 212 HVAC again this year for maintenance before winter.

Victor and Andrew just left and they were wonderful! prompt, explained what they were doing and all my options. they worked efficiently and took care of everything! i would totally recommend and use them again!

provider was communicative in advance regarding timing, cost, etc. he showed up on time, took only as long as needed and was very nice to our tenants. he followed up with us ASAP with his assessment and provided an in-writing response quickly upon our request. he also LOWERED his initial quote because he felt the job didn't end up being as involved as he originally thought.
