Called them to get a heater in our apartment removed and capped. They were available the next day. They gave me a window and an estimate over the phone. They were professional and helpful. They weren't punctual but at least they gave me a call to let me know that they were running late. Will definitely use them again.

This is the second time that I have used their services. In both cases, they were on time and curteous, and completed the work thoroughly and efficiently. I would recommend them to anyone.

Arrived when they said they would, did an excellent job. Have already hired them back to look at a water heater leak.

Polite, prompt, thoughtful, cleaned up after work was done. Best experience from a plumber since I've lived in NYC!

I was promised that the plumber would arrive between 8:30-9am on Jan. 6, and I cleared my morning schedule to accommodate this arrival time. When no plumber had arrived by 11:30am, I phoned the office and was assured that the worker would arrive between 30 minutes and one hour, and in any event absolutely no later than 1pm. When still no one had arrived by 1:15, I again phoned the office. I was promised that the plumber would arrive in 20 minutes. By 2:15, the plumber still had not arrived, and I again attempted to phone the office. I got a busy signal. When the plumber finally arrived at 2:20pm, he examined the leaking faucet, dismantled the knobs, and said that he needed to go get the replacement parts. He left at 2:40pm, and did not return for over an hour. Again, I called the office to see what the holdup was, and was told they had to go to the East Side to acquire parts. I cannot fathom why this was necessary, as first of all, this seems a standard issue piece of equipment that should be carried as part of a tool kit, and secondly, there are at least three high-quality hardware and plumbing supply stores within a three block radius of the worksite. I can only assume that the plumbers decided to go get coffee for an hour, while they were pretending to be working (and billing me.) Upon returning with the replacement faucets, the completion of the work took approximately 25 minutes, and the plumbers left at about 4:30pm. All of the above would have been merely annoying if the quality of the work was acceptable and of long-duration. However, within two weeks, the very same faucets began leaking again. I contacted the office and requested that a plumber return to fix the job correctly. I specified three dates: Monday, Feb. 1, Tuesday, Feb. 2 and Wednesday, Feb. 3. The dispatcher agreed that someone would be sent. On the first two days, no one showed up, and I did not receive any explanation. On the evening of Feb. 2, there was a message left on my home answering machine vaguely apologizing for not coming that day, and asking to reschedule. I made another call to the office, stating that someone should be sent the following day, or if that was not possible, I did not expect to be billed for the sub-standard and unacceptable work. No one ever came on that day, nor was I ever contacted with any apology or explanation. Indeed, the only contact since that time has been to receive a bill, which I refused to pay until the job was completed properly. I left messages and sent letters telling them this, asking that they contact me to set up a rescheduled appointment. I received no response from them, other than a monthly invoice for the original job amount. One month there was a hand-written note and quot;Please take care of thisand quot; scrawled across the bottom of the invoice, but no reference to the complaints I had made. Finally, in mid-November, they sent me an email vaguely trying defend the work that was done (and quot;that was some letter you wrote...of course the plumbers weren't getting coffeeand quot;) and agreeing to cancel the bill. So, although I didn't pay anything, I still wasted a full day waiting for the original work to be done, spent countless hours writing and calling them to dispute the bill and/or get the work done correctly, and I still have a leaking facuet almost a year later. I will definitely use a different plumber in the future - it's just not worth the aggrevation. It was surprising to me that this experience was so bad - I had used this company twice before years ago with satifactory results. They recently moved their offices, and perhaps they have had a change of ownership as well. Whatever the cause may be, they have lost my business for good.

I selected Wynne Plumbing and Heating based on the reviews from this list. Unfortunately I never got pass the customer service. I first contacted this establishment on November 11th, 2011 to see if they can replace the heating coils to a Combined Climate master unit that had broken. I was given an appointment for 11/14/11 at 7:30am. I waited until 8:30 am and no one showed up or called. Evenually I called the office and I was given an excuse that the person who made the appointment was not in. Evenually someone was dispatched to my house later. The gentleman came took measurements for the coil and told me they can replace it. He told me he would get back to me with a quote. Several days passed and I did not recieve any correspondance from the office, so I called. After I called, the gentleman who answered the phone asked me to send a picture of the unit so he can better explain to the vendor what he was looking for. I gave him not only a picture, but the model number as well. Several days went by and no correspondance. Since the office is close enough to my home I visited the office to find out what was going on. The gentleman in the office said he was out sick for a couple of days and he did not get a chance to call, but he still did not have the info i originally gave him. I gave the information again and I was assured that he would call the following Monday, which was November 28th,2011. I called on Tuesday, November 29th, 2011, and the customer service guy told me he never got to my file, but he would get to it first thing on Wednesday, November 30th. Again, no one called me to give an update. I did call on 12/1/11, and after the customer service rep attempted to give me another lame excuse, I just cut him off and let him know I will be taking my business elsewhere. I cannot comment on how they actually perform work once you get pass their atrocious customer service, but I must say I should have walked away sooner. I will never ever seek the service of these guys again.

I called and they showed up 40 minutes later, right on time. The problem was diagnosed and fixed quickly and professionally. When finished, my tub was cleaner than when they arrived! Compaired to other plumbers used, Wynne was definately a winner!

I called and left a message over Memorial Day weekend that I needed my faucet replaced but was concerned because my sink has a garbage disposal unit. I specifically said there was no reason to call over the weekend, I was calling because I had some time to make the calls. Wynne called me back first thing Tuesday morning, came that morning, and gave me a far less expensive quote than another vendor I contacted. They were professional, clean, worked quickly, and I would use them again.

They were really good. It was two guys who came out and since it was such a small job, not sort of dismissing it; but they wanted to complete it and solve the problem. I was overall pleased with them. They came to not only solve the problem, but afterwards they said if anything came up with it, they would be back to fix it. I paid only the service charge for the job they did.

They were punctual, professional, and more reasonably priced than sprinkler companies. I would recommend them to others for this service. I have not used them for plumbing repairs, but I plan to call them in the future for any plumbing issues.

Wynne is absolutely professional and provides fast service. Ivan was the gentleman I spoke with, he was completely willing to help and negotiate a fair price. Both jobs were completed the same day, a few hours from the time of the service call. I have no complaints, our toilets and water cooler has had no issues since their visit. The billing office is also a breeze to work with. Overall, great customer service.

Nice and hard workers who seemed to know what they were doing. Unfortunately sprung a leak and had to do the job all over again costing me an extra hour+ to finish the job. Office very responsive to my calls and arranging this whole appointment

The overall experience was excellent from the first call to the completion of the service. The plumber was professional and pleasant to deal with.

Late to arrive, but fixed drain quickly. Overall were in and out in 15 minutes.

The work was done very efficiently and professionally.

They came, did their job and left. Charged a fair price, did a good job and I was happy to be the problem was fixed.

For more than one week we were promised a plumber five times and a plumber to call once. Never once got a call back. Ended up not being able to complete project in time. The only reason I kept calling them back was two earlier good experiences with the people who do the actual hard work. Dear (well, no longer that dear..) Wynne: Get rid of the person answering your phone - or put him somewhere he won't have a chance to ruin your business. My old review follows: --- After having tried to find for weeks an honest and reasonably priced plumber to install a new valve to correct a violation Wynne was a gift from heaven. This company is out there to solve your problems, not to take advantage of your situations. Have used them twice now. It is not terribly easy to make appointments with them, but as you get them to your home you will get your problems solved. Thanks again, Fred and co!

Called in the morning. They said they would be there between 2pm and 4pm. They inspected the work to be performed and determined they could do the work on the spot for $150.00. They did the work perfectly and also recommended future needs when ever I was ready to call them back.

Arrived on time. Removed damaged auxiliary hot water tank and re-piped bathroom sink and tub/shower to main hot water tank. Work appears to be of high quality. Gave discount for getting name from Angie's List.

Truly excellent service and excellent professionalism. Cleaned up after themselves, went out for correct parts, explained everything clearly, were extremely pleasant, polite and helpful. Only downside, they were delayed by an emergency but other than that I was completely satisfied. Would highly recommend.

I had requested that the van pick me up at my studio and drive me to the apartment where the sink to be repaired was. There was a miscommunication as to where exactly I was to be picked-up. Eventually I was picked up. After that, everything went very smoothly and Carlos did the job expeditiously and throughly.

It went very well indeed.And took only one hour from start to finish.

They were very flexible with my appt. I really appreciated the fact that they worked around the time my new stove was to be delivered. The guys were very professional and thorough. They didn't rush through the job.

Appointment was scheduled for 8:30 AM, so I took time off work to be home. I called at 8:15 to confirm appointment and dispatcher said he was busy and that he would call me back later - in 30 minutes. He hadn't sent out the plumber yet, so it would be delayed. And he was unclear about some other job that was before me that he hadn’t sent someone out for. Point is, he was very busy and didn’t have any details - I told him I would call back in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, he is still busy, but now he needs to reschedule my appointment for another day. Lack of professionalism, lack of respect for the customers time. I graciously declined his offer to be burned again at a later date. There are better plumbers out there.
