My move with Shleppers was seamless. The movers arrived on time and were extremely prepared. They handled my items with care and made sure all of my fragile items were secure. I felt comfortable in my apartment with the movers as they were all very nice and professional. This is the first time I have hired movers and boy was it worth it! I didn’t have to lift a finger. The booking process, actual move, and follow up from the company were all great. I would highly recommend Shleppers to anyone!

My family and I have been using Shleppers for years and have never been disappointed. We were given schedules for pick-up and deliveries that were met with total punctuality. Since we recently moved from Connecticut to Florida, we had different crews and both were outstanding. Follow-up before, during and after the move gave us the feeling that our personal belongings were in great hands.

Hired this moving company for a recent job here in BRooklyn. They were able to come out with little notice. They got right to work within the set time frame we were quoted. The price we paid for the move was reasonable. There was one issue that arose with the company, but management fixed the problem. I would use them again

The movers were entirely unprofessional. The salesperson agreed to certain conditions, including moving our new washing machine. We also did a FaceTime call prior to him providing an estimate so he was 100% aware of the amount of boxes that would need to be moved. On the day of the move, the movers acted like they didn’t know the washing machine needed to be moved and that they could do it for us as a favor, even though it was clearly stated on their checklist. The supervisor of the crew complained the entire time about the amount of boxes and the time it would take to pack and move everything. They damaged several items during the move, including breaking a TV. The claim will only cover $.60 per pound for each damaged item, which won’t even cover the cost of tax for a new TV. And to add insult to injury, they took drinks from my refrigerator without asking, even though I had bought several bottles of gatorade and water for everyone. Save yourself the grief and find someone more reputable.

We used Shleppers movers when we moved from NY to NJ and we couldn’t be happier! The costumer services they provided was the absolute best! They go above an beyond! They make sure that everything stays in tact during the move!

Shleppers was great! Nissim was our service rep and was very helpful and responsive. We changed our move date several times, added additional items and deliveries, and he handled it all with east. Our moving crew, led by Ido, was excellent. Fast, efficient, professional, and very careful. They worked really hard, did not damage any walls or floors, and we had no broken items in a rather large move. They were excellent and I’d recommend them without reservation.

Shleppers moving was incredible from start to finish. The movers themselves were incredibly nice, friendly, and professional. Everything was moved in a workmanlike and professional manner. Best moving company I’ve ever used.

They were FANTASTIC! Dealt with complicated things to move, including my Peloton, and handled the thunderstorm we had that day with no problems. Everything made it into the new apartment quickly and safely, not a single thing was lost or broken - even my wine glasses made it intact! Would use again in a heartbeat.

Everyone and everything went smoothly and professionally!! Working with Dereck was great! He told us everything up front and no hidden charges at all - the packets and movers were very fast and efficient. Leaving it in there hands for storage was good too I felt like everything was safe. It was ergecy easy to call and have it moved to my new location many months later and that part was handled well!!! My experience with Shleppers went very smoothly. They have great prices in comparison with other full-service movers, and you are not missing any element of service or quality. The team was incredibly transparent, communicative, and responsive in the lead-up to the move, and every one of the movers was pleasant, capable, and careful with my things. I would use them for any east coast move.

I booked Schleppers because they gave me a good quote - they then proceeded to charge $3,000 more once they arrived and actually packed the truck. Communication was terrible and I could not get an answer as to when my furniture was expected to arrive. Once it did arrive, several pieces were damaged, including my vintage bar. They have an insurance company you can go through, but the wait time is a few months, so now I have broken furniture all over my house. Terrible customer service and actual service. Please go somewhere else.

The entire team at Shlepper's was great. I priced out 5-6 different companies and there's was super competitive, and a bargain for the service we wound up receiving. The team of movers worked fast and diligently. I've moved all over the country for work, and have gone through several moves. As I told this team, this was by far the best team of guys we've ever used. I would hire them again without second thought!

Full disclosure: the shipping TO storage was terrific but the shipping FROM storage to the new destination has been atrocious. Starting with a complete lack of transparency regarding shipping costs. I had wondered why/how their prices were so much better than other establish shipping companies & it’s because their contract is misleading. It doesn’t reference the 2nd fee to ship out that the customer would need to pay. It doesn’t indicate that this would be a separate job in the agreement. We explained to them that the move would be within the same area & there was no mention of charges at that point. As a family that hasn’t used a shipping company before why wouldn’t there be a discussion about fees? Our signed agreement mentions “Total Move” throughout & defined it as “the price of the move includes:(1) will provide the pick up and delivery of the items set forth in your item list. (No mentions of a second charge); (2) will provide the packing and unpacking services you selected.; (3) will disassemble and reassemble all of the furniture being moved unless otherwise requested.; (4) will set up your furniture in your desired locations.; (5) The price also includes all travel costs (including tolls, fuel, and parking tickets) as well as all labor and equipment.” (Shleppers later said “what if you moved across the country…you couldn’t have expected this to include that” – I told them that we expressed that we’d be local to our rep & could understand additional charges in a situation where the move was long distance.) On moving day, we weren’t even serviced by them. Only upon arrival did we find out that Shleppers wasn’t going to be directly handling the move. They had outsourced the move to Bridge Moving Company. I asked for them to wear masks. When I returned from an errand; none of the movers were wearing masks & found a mask on the ground along with rolls of tape in each room, huge piles of packing materials left in the front yard. The crew kept complaining about having to bring certain items up stairs (our home is 3 floors) & wanting access to an easier doorway which I explained might not be possible (we eventually were able to open additional doors but it was draining to keep repeating). They didn’t follow instructions on where many boxes & items belonged. Items were left in our backyard that we asked to be brought into our garage for safe keeping. While reassembling items, they found a broken pedal on my antique piano, missing suction pieces for two glass end tables & we’re still missing some canopy bars for a bed in the primary room(as far as we know b/c we haven’t unpacked everything). They rudely rushed to finish up the job & only managed to assemble one bed with another bed’s pieces & left the other 4 beds unassembled & left the floor scratched in the primary room. They called Dispatch & demanded the original foreman come & reassemble those beds because “pieces were missing”. When the original foreman came a week later, he fixed the incorrect bed setup & quickly put the remaining beds together with the pieces that he found taped to each of the beds. While not making any accusations, we questioned whether the disrespect we encountered was race related as there was a complete disregard for many of our service-related requests from the start. Following the move, I spoke with John in Dispatch who said he might be able to get someone to complete assembly on Monday. Additionally, when speaking with John, I asked several times for us to get everything that needed to be done in writing. No calls or emails received. I was on hold 30min+ for 3 days & they’d promise to get a definitive answer before the end of day. Each day, no messages or emails from anyone. Days later, I emailed their customer service team & no response. Yesenia, was the only agent to take this seriously but even her attempts to make it right fell short as we still had to wait almost a week for beds to be assembled.

The Shleppers’ staff were courteous and professional throughout our move. They made a difficult day go smoothly.

The movers tightly folded and taped my king-sized mattress. It remained that way for about five hours. The mattress is ruined. Although I did not see the supervisor, the foreman said that a supervisor saw the folded mattress as it was loaded onto the truck and did not make any changes. Additionally, the movers showed up a bit late and asked for a 20% cash tip in the early part of the move.
