The guy who came to give the estimate seemed to know his business very well and appeared very professional. Our house is a cape and leaks usually start around the "doghouses" that stick out on to the roof. He pointed this out to us. However, we found his solution to be somewhat ridiculous: He proposed removing an entire 18" strip of roof tiles from the top to bottom of the roof on the side of the "doghouse" that he believed was leaking. This was the ridiculous part. Of course he said he'd replace the ice/water seal and flashing. Then he would replace the tiles, although there was no way he could ever match the rest of the roof tiles because "they don't make that color anymore." He told us there would be a 2-year warranty on the job, and it would cost us $1000.00, even with the coupon from the "Val-Pak" we all get in the mail. He provided us with a full written estimate. I told the guy we would take some time to consider his estimate. I walked around our neighborhood and looked at the roofs. Almost none of them had any patches at all, although some had water stains. I found one with a rather large patch. How would we feel coming home to a house with a stripe down the roof? Of course we would want to replace the roof, then. We believed that this proposal was just a way of forcing us into ultimately using their company to replace the roof, which means big money for them. After doing my homework and asking people in the neighborhood for additional references, we settled on a contractor who did an excellent, thorough job fixing the leak around the doghouse. He removed drain spouts surrounding the doghouse, roof tiles and siding on the doghouse, put in a new ice/water seal and flashing on both sides of the doghouse. He then replaced all the siding, spouts and roof tiles. It cost us $250.00. We haven't had a problem since. We know we will need to replace the roof in the next few years, but having just bought the house, we didn't want to spend the money right away.

All island pro replaced our entire roof, including replacing the entire plywood underneath, which was definitely necessary after 30 years. They also replaced one chimney and re-pointed the second chimney. |Management was extremely conscientious before the job and during the work. We were very pleased.

ueI sent the email below to Joe. As I promised, I'm sending you this email before I go on vacation. First of all, after the disaster with the roof in Shirley, both me and Chris started looking for a roofing company to do the job. We called several, and I ended up with All Island Pro, as the company seemed reputable, you even told me about your reputation when we first spoke, and Christopher, when he heard I was using you said he heard good things about your company. As you are aware, it is quite an expensive bill, and with the insurance company reimbursing a minimum amount and your company needing to be paid upon completion, I had to wait for 1 month before starting this job. I had another estimate that was lower than yours, but decided to go with your company. The roof was completed post haste, and from the pictures sent to me and the tenants' impression, your guys did a good job. What I did not expect is to pay the entire $11,000 for the roof and then have a totally unprofessional subcontractor sent into the house to do the interior work. From all indications, an individual like this is better off working on the roof where he does not need to have contact with customers. I heard complaints about him from day 1 and also later found out that he did not show up when he said he was and gave a schedule of working sporadically over a week to finish a job that could be done in a few days, while the customer has been inconvenienced by clearing things from the room and practically has no use of the kitchen. I will let the photos speak for themselves, but I went from being upset to being infuriated when I received these photos yesterday. I couldn't even address it, and waited an entire day before getting back to the tenants. What I also do not appreciate Joe, is you telling me how professional this guy is after I received the first complaint about him. The thing about professionalism and competence, is that when someone who has those qualities slips, it's usually one small thing, your worker slipped so many times by the first day you would think he had banana peels permanently attached to his sneakers. The creme de la creme is putting up 1/2 inch sheetrock where there should be 5/8s, cutting it short, leaving 1/4 inch or more seams around it, ending it past the beam, cutting a hole for the fixture that's too big then patching it, not to mention using the customer's ladder, not using a drop cloth, not stapling the insulation, leaving insulation with bugs on the kitchen floor instead of discarding it right away and last but not least, piling all of his garbage in the backyard then calling my tenants repeatedly on Sunday evening. It's obvious that the tenants are not happy with this individual, Santos, and yes, your promise to not have him return is timely, because neither of us wanted him back either. I would however appreciate if if he or someone else of your choice could return to the house to remove the garbage he's been leaving in the back yard. I do accept your apology, however, it's Gina and Chris that need an apology, as this individual was sent to their house and made them feel totally violated. I'm sure he would be superb working in a house where someone doesn't know the difference between a chisel and a saw, but that's neither my house nor the Colasuonno's. In all fairness Joe did apologize to me and the tenants, however, instead of paying $2,000 to complete the job, I had to spend twice as much. It obviously cost less when a job is bundled than when it has to be done separately. Joe did not return calls I made to him after my vacation and subsequently when I made contact him said he had to speak to the owner and has not gotten back to me in months. The good job that was done on the roof has been overshadowed by the un-professionalism, incompetence and failure to respond to a customer. I will not use All Island Pro again, nor will I recommend it to anyone I know.

He was punctual and professional. he answered all my questions. I didn't use his company because I got a less expensive estimate which included the cost of any plywood replacement.

My experience with them was very good. The price was very good and the quality was good too. I would recommend them and also use them again in the future.

Tore down entire old mason chimney and rebuilt from scratch. They worked non-stop and were very friendly and professional. The cap came off when my husband installed a new antenna and they came the very next day to put it back and reinforce it. Couldn't have asked for better service!

Joe is a true professional, and Nunzio and Michael are incredible masons. It was definitely a more complicated job than was expected, and not all our bluestone survived the process, so we needed to buy a bunch more. Overall, for the price, we are very pleased. 3 to 4 guys were on the job practically every day, and they work weekends too.

Although I could not ultimately go with All Pro as they could not provide financing, I was very confident in their ability to do the job well.

The crew was excellent in terms of taking pride in their work, explaining each step of the job and working very hard to complete each task in a timely and professional manner. I would certainly recommend and use this company again.

They are awful. They came and they needed to use my hose to clean the gutters. They left all the dirt at the bottom, they did not clean it away from the bottom once they washed it down. And then he said to me as I was putting the hose away, "Oh, that's my job." And I said, "Well, what about the dirt at the bottom of the gutters that you left?" Then he said, :Oh, that's not our responsibility. You can leave the hose so I can clean it." And they wouldn't clean their mess at the bottom of the gutters.

The crew was punctual, courteous, and professional. The job was done in a timely fashion, and the cleanup was exceptional. There was no damage to any of my existing landscaping. The pricewas very equitable. They were responsive to all of my concerns and requests. When I inquired as to what was being done, how it was being done, and materials being used, they described their work and materials to my satisfaction. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs this service.

The workmen arrived on time, worked all day, were responsive to all my questions as the work progressed. They did a great job which I inspected up on the roof. They cleaned up all work related debris to my satisfaction. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.
