The process went very well. I give the crew a lot of credit as the day they started the job was the coldest day of the season. They didn’t let this slow them down. All my questions were answered promptly. They even took the time to properly install flashing where a stone wall meets the roof.. which was done improperly when the house was built. The guys are hard working and should be proud of the work they do!!

This company was very responsive and easy to get a hold of someone. Cheyenne in the office was very friendly and helpful. Dan came out for the quote. He was very thorough in explaining the products and services they offered. Scheduling was about 3 months out but the company came out and did repairs free of charge in the meantime. Zach was the foreman of the crew installing the roof. They did an excellent job and left the property in better condition than they found it. From start to finish, everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. The price was competitive with other quotes I got.

The job went fantastic. They were on time, polite and protected my property while they worked. I am going to hire them to have the from half done.

We absolutely loved working with Van Dusen Exteriors, from our first call all the way through the end of the job, everything was outstanding. They were on time for every appointment and the crew showed up each morning like clockwork. The estimates were easily understood, and different products were explained thoroughly. They worked with us as we made our final decisions on products and colors. Cheyenne in the office has been nothing short of fantastic. She is very responsive, even going above and beyond at times. We were hoping to see an example of a house with the siding color we chose, and while Van Dusen had never done job in our color that she could send us to, she went a step further by going to the supplier, who then found 3 addresses for us to go look at. As far as the crew goes, Zack's team was All Star caliber. It was a pleasure to watch them work. Not only do they have great experience and talent, but they also exhibited right in front of my eyes a desire to take extra little steps along the way. It was also nice to see the crew interact with each other, as each of the more seasoned guys seemed to be paired up with an "apprentice" on the ground, not only giving them direction, but helping them learn along the way. During the entire process, debris was constantly being removed from the grounds, all landscaping and windows were properly protected, and of course, all safety equipment was being utilized. Most importantly, they refused to do any roofing work when there was even the threat of rain. Several other houses in our neighborhood were also having roofs replaced the same week, and there were a few downpours that fell on their plywood exposes roofs, but not at our house!!! We cannot recommend Van Dusen Exteriors enough. As we have future exterior home repair/renovation needs, we'll surely be calling them first!!!

Van Dusen Exteriors were nothing but professional from the first time we sat down with their salesman Dan to plan our roof repairs to the actual repairs and to the final clean up they were the best and would recommend them to anyone who needs exterior work done on their home. Any calls we made to their office were answered courteously and on time. I felt their pricing was great for the the work and materials that were done on our home. All of their crew were very professional in all that they did.

They did an excellent job. Made sure everything was covered before ripping off the old roof and everything was picked up and spotless when they finished. I highly recommend VanDuesn exteriors for your outdoor needs.

We used Van Dusen two years ago for a new roof and they were above reproach. Their work was so good that They were my only choice for new siding. They are professional, polite and beyond capable. I trust them implicitly and never have to worry when they're finished.

They were very pleasant! Arrived on time for estimate and on job day. They had a large crew who swarmed our house and got to work. They laid tarps and sheets of wood against windows and doorways to protect my house. At one point when they removed a sky light some debris fell into my kitchen through the hole, no biggie but the main guy knocked on the door and came in and swept it up! All in all it was a good experience and the roof and and skylights look amazing🎉 I don't for see and problems with the roof or skylights but I have confidence that if something does come up they will take care of it, no problem.

Very well despite inclement weather conditions

The project went very well and we are extremely pleased! Wayne was great about involving us every step of the way with selecting materials, colors, lighting fixture, hardware for the door, wood trim, and flooring. He explained each step to us, so we always felt informed on the progress of the project. The crews that worked at the house were on time and very courteous. Paul was also here daily to keep things moving right along. It was completed within several days. We are so happy about the way everything turned out! We wanted windows in the room, to allow for natural light. Wayne also suggested flower boxes on the outside of the windows. They look great! The electrician came and did his installations and our lighting. Ben did the electronics. Very hard working group! Terrible weather that week, but they still forged ahead & got things completed as promised! After the project was done, Wayne explained that the only piece left to finish, was back filling the dirt around the foundation areas that were dug out. There had been soooo much rain, that they couldn't do it until the soil dried out some. True to their word, Paul and his crew came back and filled, smoothed and finished the last step. This company is great!. They are very professional and a pleasure to do business with! We would definitely recommend them to anyone with a project in mind!

Very well. They showed up on time. I thought it was just going to be an estimate for the roof, but their roofing guy spotted the problem immediately. The area around a "mushroom" vent needed to be resealed and he did it on the spot for a good reasonable price. Right then and there. No more roof leaks. I did have their window person here to look at a couple windows that need to be replaced, but, unfortunately I had an accidental fall injuring my back and have been unable to make contact with him. That's on me. Have not been able to do much. That's not Van Dusen's fault.

They were on time, I had no problems with them they were good. I recommend them highly.

The deck looks great and is very solid and sturdy. Exactly what I was looking for. We've had lots of compliments on the stone - it looks great. Wayne (the estimator) was very nice and explained everything and the installers were all hardworking, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. We had a few little glitches and they have been very prompt in responding. Would definitely hire them again!

I did a great deal of research into the windows I wanted, as well as all the installers in the area, as both factors are crucial. I was also in the market for minor roof repair work. Everyone I dealt with at Van Dusen's, including the office staff, was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. I used them for both the windows and roof repair. Wayne went out of his way to locate a dealer that carried the specific brand of window I wanted. The installers were on time and very easy to work with. The premises and work area was left clean. Van Dusen's prices were fair and the quality of the work was outstanding. There is a reason why they are so highly regarded by Angie's List reviews, and I am happy to add that reputation. Highly recommended.

I wholeheartedly recommend Vandusen for roofing jobs! The job went perfectly. The Vandusen contractors showed up exactly when they said they would and completed the entire job within 48 hours (it would’ve been finished within 24 hours had a major snowstorm not interrupted the work). I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of the work crew (especially when the temperatures dipped into the teens). I also noticed that someone at the Vandusen office ALWAYS answered the phone when I called with a question (that almost never happens with most contractors). I’ll definitely call them again when I need help with exterior projects!

Responsive from the first time I called, an even after payment was made. A nice touch is the pictures they send to you during the job. They get on the roof to do the estimate. Many options for warranty's. They come with a large work force to complete the job. The job was done with snow on the ground but none on the roof, so they came back to clean up the ground with the snow was gone. I didn't see a lick of trash after they were done, so I imagine there was not much to clean up after the snow melt. They cover the siding with 4x8 sheets so there is no denting or leaving of marks on your siding. They are definitely on my list of contractors to keep around on speed dial.

all roofs were completed in 2 days by a really large well organized crew with a manager always present during the process. Since the bottom edge on the roof is 32’ off the ground and the peak at least 10’ above that I wasn’t going up to observe. The crew manager took cell phone pictures off all the before and after results and how they handled any issues that came up and constantly showed them to us while they were working and kept us in the decision making loop. I am a retired purchasing agent and this was the first time a saw a good business use of a smart phone camera. It made us confident that all problems were indentifed and fixed. Very satisfied.

VanDusen delivered everything they had promised and more. Despite some weather concerns, the VanDusen crew, led by Zach, arrived on the date and time promised. They worked all day and completed everything as agreed within one work day. When they were finished, Zach gave me an inspection tour of the job, complete with photos of the insulation and some damage they had found in the plywood underlayment. Everything was cleaned up and the large work crew left as quickly as they had arrived. A few days later, we received a "thank-you" gift of delicious home-baked goodies from Eric and Shannon - what a wonderful old-fashioned gesture of appreciation for business given. Overall, we were very impressed with VanDusen Exteriors in every way. They made us feel as though our business was important to them; and that's not something that happens often enough today.

From the time we had measurements taken until the work was finished, we were very impressed with everyone that we dealt with before and during the installation of our windows. Van Dusen is fantastic. They communicated everything with me in a timely manner. Their prices were better than other providers, and their workers are very polite and friendly. They even threw in an extra screen for a window of mine that they weren't replacing! I plan on replacing more of my windows next year, and I will definitely be hiring Van Dusen again.
