The experience was top notch from beginning to end. Owner Eric was great to work with...I found him to be very professional, reliable and fair to do business with. The crew showed up promptly each morning and got busy right away, working like a well oiled machine. It took me into the third day to know it was a 7 man crew because they were so busy and moving all around the site. They worked hard, were very polite and pleasant, and did great workmanship. They cleaned up after themselves amazingly well for the amount of tearing down that had to be done. Had some storms come through, and they were very quick to tarp everything up, then just as quick to get back to work when storm passed. I couldn't be more satisfied!

This work was performed on my daughter's home (single mom) and I assisted in getting quotes in and evaluating them. This is when I signed up for my initial Angie's List subscription. When I called to get estimates Eric Van Dusen (company owner) answered the call and we schedule a visit within the week (in May), Eric personally makes the estimates (makes sense) and make the visit as well. He walked the roof (~ 1200 sf on two different heights) and indicated that the plywood felt "spongy" and indicated that we should expect to replace several pieces of plywood with the replacement of the shingles. He also indicated that he could blow in additional insulation when the plywood was off as it was very easy to do. He included expected costs for the plywood (not the standard $40 per sheet after 3) because of the sponginess he felt and separately priced the insulation and the shingle removal and replacement. We obtained 2 written estimates but I had tried to get 4 estimates. 2 of the companies never returned my initial phone call, so I didn't even want to deal with those companies. Both companies that responded came from Angie's List and were both rated A. The prices were competitive with each other, but Van Dusen was more thorough with the estimate and spent an hour explaining it all to my daughter. It took awhile to get the roof scheduled in Van Dusen's plans, but once that happened in early July, the roof replacement was scheduled 10 days later, and that happened as planned. They had a crew of about 8 people and everyone was busy all the time except for a couple of well deserved breaks. They arrived at 7:30 and were done with all the work by 3:00. Very impressive and the roof looks great (architectural 30 year shingles).

I spent about $6,000 on the job. They were extremely honest. The quality of the workmanship was very good. Their price was very competitive. They were punctual and clean. I recommended them to a neighbor of mine. I have nothing negative to say about them. I would use them again if required.

When they came to start the job they all arrived on time. They worked as a group throughout the removal and disposal and the installation of the new roofs. They were neat, courteous, answered all of my questions and helped me better understand the proper way to install a roof. They did a nice job and at the end used a magnetic roller to pick up any remaining nails.

They have been excellent so far. They came out and gave me an estimate right away. They were friendly and spent a lot of time with me. He was looking at the roof and explaining what was going on. He gave me an extremely fair estimate.

My husband, I believe, saw them working on another roof somewhere in the neighborhood, and we were having problems at that time. He stopped and talked to the guy, and that person was here that very day to look at it and then came the next day. They provided very prompt service. I don?t remember the price of the job they did in 2009 but it was fair. This time around, we thought it was a roofing problem that they had fixed back in 2009, but it turned out it was vertical boards on the side of our house. They came out and took care of that problem. They were awesome and they displayed good workmanship. He didn?t want to take any money because he said that they should have noticed the problem when they had replaced the roof. I think my husband ended up giving him some money - less than $100. We would highly recommend them. When we have to have more work done, we are actually planning on calling them back.

Within one hour of requesting an estimate the owner, Eric, was at my house. A written estimate was received and the work was completed in one afternoon, the day after I initially met with Eric. I was extremely pleased with every aspect of the experience.
