Description of Work: Checked the whole roof, determined that gutters needed attention and did some sealing work, checked the tops of all windows, spot-sealed areas on the roof and chimney, and gave advice on future roof treatment. Very pleased.

Description of Work: I had a problem with a flat roof that had leaked on and off for several years. One roofer said they would have to replace the entire flat roof at a cost of more than $10,000 in order to guarantee that the roof was repaired. | |Eric inspected the roof and found a seam that had been installed incorrectly and charged $500 to clean and cover that seam with special sealing tape. He could not guarantee the work but felt that this would stop the leak and so far it has held. The staff at Van Duesen was very helpful and responsive.

Description of Work: Eric and his crew were great. They were inbetween jobs and called to say they could do our soffits in 2 days while they wait for some paperwork for the other job. They worked in the freezing cold to hang soffits on a 100 yr old house...not an easy task! They came back when the snow melted and picked up the yard (although I did not see them use the nail rake I think they did) and came back a second time to clean the exterior handprints, etc. left on the window wraps on the house...(not something that they installed). They also fixed some of the old vinyl that kept blowing off the house, no charge, Eric just "didn't like the way it kept falling off." Shannon came out to settle up with us and brought homemade muffins to thank us for our business....overall they did a great job...

Description of Work: They looked at our roof and fixed a couple of shingles and added some seal - then left an estimate for about 10,000 for a new roof.

Description of Work: Inspected and reported on roof, sealed all loose or cracking parts. Reported need for re-roofing portion over the front porch. Promised to send someone to give an estimate on the job, but nobody ever came to do that. Otherwise, very friendly accommodating, and helpful. Also, at our request, inspected and reported on upper chimney while they were up there.

Description of Work: Replaced roof and added insulation. All of the staff was courteous and quite (no boom boxes), Staff keep me informed to progress and any conditions we needed to be aware of (rotted beam found and replaced). I highly recommend Van Dusen and will have them on my must receive a quote for my next project. BTW they did not win this job with the lowest quote. I was impressed with Eric and the process he said would and was used.
