"This business has taken payment for work that they did not complete, and has refused to give a refund. The owner, Aric, is effectively trying to scam out thousands of dollars from the work he did not complete. I hired Elite as a contractor to perform drywall, painting, and trim for a large home renovation. From the start, Elite had problems completing work on time. During the course of the renovation, workers were consistently late, sloppy, and did not produce quality work. Aric, would consistently give excuses as to why things were not on schedule, or the work was not performed well. Given that the renovation was ongoing, I attempted to work through the issues, however it became impossible to work with Elite. Over the course of 6 months, Aric consistently delayed work on the house, directed workers to other jobs (which he admitted in text messages), and missed agreed upon deadlines. The work was started in April, and by August a very large portion of work was still incomplete, or not even started. Aric blamed me for the delays, saying he got a late start due to other contractors working on the house. He may have been delayed, but that does not explain why he could not complete the work in the over 5 months the project was ongoing. Other contractors did not have problems scheduling around the minor issues that commonly happen during a home renovation. After being unable to finish the work, and missing a final agreed upon deadline, I terminated Elite's contract. I asked Aric for a refund and was told "we can work something out" but have not heard from him since. I have sent a demand letter and had a lawyer contact him, but Aric is simply ignoring that he owes us a refund of almost $6,000 for work he accepted payment for but did not complete, or even start. We are very reasonable people, and tried multiple times to work this situation out, but were not able to. This business is not trustworthy and seems to have acted in very bad faith in our situation. I would not recommend anyone doing business with Elite Custom Painting."

Established in 1940. Henry K. Eade and his wife Albedia opened Eade's Wallpaper Inc. in June of 1940 at 307 North Union Street, Olean New York, and the family business has been serving patrons ever since. It is not uncommon for our customers to walk through our doors and reminisce about the days of making the annual trip to our store to select discount wallpaper with their Grandmothers who made their own paste from corn starch and flour. The Decorating industry changed over the years, our humble store would soon follow. In November of 1999, we opened our doors to the world by launching our website www.eadeswallpaper.com. Our method tried and true, is to offer our customers quality wallpaper and fabric at discount pricing, but most of all, our loyal devotion to customer service. This continues to be the secret to our success. As the family of Henry and Albedia Eade, we are committed to you the customers by giving the best discount pricing, selection, and great customer service, just as they did in 1940.

My company has been in business for 5 years now but I have 12 years experience in the field. I have all the best tools and know how for a fantastic quality finish every time. I don't scrape like most painters do, I sand so you have a much smoother and longer lasting finish. My company is LEAD certified and fully insured so both of us are covered. I use top quality lifetime warranty paint and never settle with the cheap stuff. I prime with OIL on all exteriors to insure a longer lasting product. No messes are left behind ever, end of the day we pick up and leave our workplace neat and tidey for a productive day when we come back in and end of the job everything is left in better condition than when we first arrived. I only have 1 or 2 other employees other than myself in which I am on every jobsite working next to my employees to answer any questions you might have. We never have loud obnoxious music playing or loud voices going ever. We work from when we get there to when we leave, we don't take 15 coffee or cigarette breaks and a 2 hour lunch. On a normal day we will work from sun up to sun down depending on your schedule. No one in my company smokes on your property ever. We have great prices and try to stay as competetive as we can but in the construction world you the customer get what you pay for, so our prices probably wont be the cheapest but I can guarantee our work will be the best.

I am a contracting professional with a 15 yr record of success overseeing all phases of painting and wood restoration projects. We have successfully serviced over 10,000 clients across Western New York. We offer high quality work at affordable prices. Our main focus is residential projects, and small to medium size commercial projects. Customer service is my number one priority
"Came to work on time, did a quality job, answered my questions and concerns completely. For this job, painting aluminum siding, Shades of Gray had the most detailed and best explanation of how the job would be done. By comparison other painting companies seemed to leave out a critical step or do the work in a way that made me question the quality of the end result. Shades of Gray inspired the most confidence that the job would be done right."

Hanging wallpaper may seem simple, but in practice it requires significant planning and finesse to make it look professional. To start, you need to get an even application of wallpaper paste across all of your wallpaper, which requires experience and large pasting tables to get right. You also need to plan out your design and match it exactly so that you don’t have imperfections in the finished product. It’s often better to hire a professional wallpaper hanger who can get the job done properly for a clean, smooth finish.
The average cost to hire a professional wallpaper hanger is around $575 per room, but it’s not uncommon to see prices range from $175 to $1,400 or more for a single room. Your total project cost depends on the wallpaper quality, room type and size, and whether you must remove old wallpaper. Since room size is one of the most significant cost factors, you can use a price between $1 and $7 per square foot to estimate your wallpapering labor cost.
It depends: You can wallpaper over non-coated wallpaper, but you should never wallpaper over vinyl-coated wallpaper. This non-recommended method will cause the new wallpaper to fail to stick, which can lead to bubbling, imperfections, and even mold growth between the layers of wallpaper. Consult a professional wallpaper hanger to determine your existing wallpaper type or remove the current wallpaper and paste residue so that the new wallpaper will adhere properly.
Spring and fall are the best seasons to apply wallpaper because excessively hot or cold temperatures can cause issues with the paste used to attach the paper to the wall. A professional wallpaper hanger can help you decide if your home is too hot, cold, humid, or dry for the wallpaper to stick properly.
Hiring a professional wallpaper hanger is usually a worthwhile idea because, while the application of wallpaper itself is easy, getting the finished product to look good is complicated and takes a lot of practice and patience. A professional wallpaper hanger will not only be able to hang your wallpaper seamlessly, but they will also get an even application of wallpaper paste to avoid bubbling and imperfections immediately and over time. Plus, they can provide their professional opinion on whether to remove or wallpaper over an existing layer of wallpaper.
