He did an excellent job in matching the surface of the dry wall so there is no visible seam. The popcorn texture matched and blended with the existing, as did the white paint. He was very clean, masking off the work area with plastic curtains and tape.

Ilya did an excellent job painting my upstairs. He was really thorough, and even after a couple of months I haven't noticed any mistakes. He took great care of all of my belongings (moved them, tarped them) and put everything back in place when he was finished. This was a big painting job, and he worked really diligently for about 8 hours a day to get it done in a timely manner.

I am a very happy customer. The job is done superbly! This is the second time I use ilya's service. Like the first time, ilya is prompt and accurate in setting up the appointments for initial estimate visit and visits to carry out the job. He spent time to cover all areas that might be affected by the job, and setup an enclosed space for the repair site. He either arrives punctually or communicates promptly to adjust appointment time. The repair is so perfect that I could hardly see the difference from the original painted areas.

from the time of his initial estimate through job completion, Ilya was the consummate professional. he was punctual, communicative, meticulous, and reasonably priced. i live in an older house and obtained several estimates because of the challenge installing the wall around existing piping. he was the only person who was able to figure out how to install the stairway wall and the results were perfect. the quality of his work was impeccable and i would hire him again in a second. (i have already referred him to my neighbor who is looking for a painter.) I have refurbished my house since moving in several years ago and i wish i had found ilya earlier because he is by far the best and most responsible professional i have hired in my 30 years as a homeowner.

We love our 100year old house, and this was the first "outside" work we had done in the bedrooms since our early efforts over the last 45 years. WE were VERY pleased with his work, his integrity and his fair pricing. We were also very happy with the variety of skills he had, as well as his being clear about what his specialities were and were not.. Some of our ideas came up as we went along and we really appreciated his flexibility, also understanding that it would extend the time line on getting our job done, because of his commitments to the people he had scheduled after us You will need to call ahead to schedule as he is generally busy and booked, and it may take him several days to respond to your request, but he will definitely call back

I contacted Ilya Logovsky in mid-December for an estimate and he promptly came to see what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. Some things were added to it and some subtracted and we agreed on a price. He was able to fit me into his January schedule and began work on 1/26-1/28. He is a personable young man and works at a good pace. Ilya had to come back several times allowing the drywall to dry and he could sand the areas. He takes a lot of pride in his work and made sure I was satisfied with everything he had done. I would highly recommend him.

I must say he did an excellent job. The border was extremely hard to remove. Not only did he put a lot of hard work and elbow grease into it, he patched up any spots with plaster that had been nicked. He was very personable and left everything cleaner than it had been before he arrived. I would definitely recommend him. Very professional.

Original had no metal and he repaired it without any hardware. Did an absolutely beautiful job, in a very timely manner. The piece is very valuable, so I thought the price was more than reasonable.

I recommend this company 100%. Ilya was very professional, kind, and hard-working. I was amazed at how quickly he was able to remove the wallpaper from my walls (some of the walls had more than one layer!) He covered up all of the furniture to protect it, put on his headphones, and got to work. He was very careful to make sure that the walls were in good shape before painting. He sanded all the rough areas to make sure they were smooth, put up the primer, and then the paint. He was extremely diligent and hardworking! You can't go wrong with this company.

Ilya was very responsive when contacted and was able to schedule me relatively quickly. He always called to let me know he was on his way, and approximate arrival time. He replaced the ceiling drywall, skim coated both ceilings, painted the bath ceiling. All was done with a lot of plaster work , sanding, 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of ceiling paint. I cannot believe he was able to do what he did with the water damage area. I cannot tell he was even there the repair is so good! He also was able to match the paint and feather it in to the rest of the ceiling area. The bath ceiling looks like new! This man is a true craftsman, and a great addition to the profession. I will hire him again! He is polite, and more than willing to work with his customers and patiently answer all the questions that arose. As a matter of fact I have already referred Small Restore to several of my friends. A+++ in my book.

Ilya came to my house to put up shelves I bought at Lowes but had difficulty putting up myself. I was impressed that he came out for a small job like that, and I was even more impressed with the price of the service. I was also really pleased with his level of professionalism (for example, he didn't use his cell phone at all while he was here working). I will definitely be contacting him again.

I am 100% satisfied with the work that illya did. It was a very pleasant experience to work with him. My initial inquiry email was promptly responded. I requested a free-estimate session and was offered a few optional dates. illya showed up on time to do a survey of the job. I received two quotes for two repair plans I asked. I emailed back a signed contract and arranged a starting date with illya. illya showed up promptly at the time we agreed to start the job and in the same manner in the next 4 days until the job complete. He had setup the covers to minimize the dust and cleaned up everything after the work. The repair was impeccable. illya also kindly helped me to replace two high-ceiling light bulbs for me. From the onset, they were what workers were many years ago, These people are craftsman and offer service well beyond anything I have come to expect in recent years. After contacting them for an estimate, they showed up on time and were very receptive to our ideas and actually provided us with options which we never considered. After giving them the contract, they showed up on time every day. Their work ethics are second to none. All work was performed in a professional manner and they left the jobsite clean after every day. Ilya, the son in this Father / Son company, was at our house for five days performing numerous tasks which ran the gambit of construction trades. All work was performed in a timely manner and he was receptive to changes made mid-stream. This usually is met with attitude but he simply executed the changes we asked for. I have supervised construction crews in the past and these people exhibited old school work ethic with modern tools & products. I have already asked them for an estimate for additional work and have referred them to do some work at my Mothers house .Simply stated, professional ,punctual,ethical and reasonably priced.

I had hired Ilya before for a small but urgent repair so I called him again. I had a bay window area with extensive ceiling and wall damage from ice dams after the 2015 snow that needed plaster repair to the dropped ceiling, drywall repair, preparation and painting. . He did all the work very carefully and the results are perfect. He masked and shielded the area so there was no dust. He is courteous, punctual and very professional. His company has a great reputation so you might have to wait a while but it is worth the wait.

Everything went well and the job was well done. He was very good at keeping the area covered so that the paint did not splatter to other areas of the house. And he did a good job patching up the wall in places that did not look so good after the wall paper was removed.

Ilya started working on Monday, 6/22/2015. He was a little late, but called to tell me he was on his way. He was very professional. He even laid down drop cloths over my already incredibly dirty carpets. He said it would probably take 3 coats. Because he had to wait for each coat to dry, he had to come back each day. So on Tuesday he recoated and then on Wednesday he sanded (with a sander that vacuums so as not to leave a mess) and recoated. Finally on Thursday, 6/25/2015, he came for the last time to sand down. It looks amazing. Now, all I have to do is prime and paint.

These guys were lifesavers! I needed someone and needed them quickly. I had an antique wooden bed frame break and I had a guest coming who needed a place to sleep. I also had some dresser drawers (on a newer set) that would no longer slide. He identified the issue with them, found the parts online and came back to fix them at a later date. He also ordered extras for me so I can fix any new issues with the other drawers in the future.

I was very pleased with all aspects of doing business with Ilya. He was very thorough and did an excellent job staining the deck. The clean up was very well too. It was very pleasant and I will definitely call this company again. Highly recommended!

This is a family business. They could not do everything overnight, but they were reasonably prompt. Their work was very professional . They did everything very carefully and neatly. They were courteous. All of this was at a very reasonable price. I woul hire them in an instant whenever I might need more work. We were extremely satisfied with Ilya and Gregory,s work and all. I recently had the occasion to use Small Restore again. All of their work was excellent and timely and reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again. A for everything.
