Great work - mis-measured on window - would not install - came back quickly and rinstalled. Had one flaw in glass - came right out and replaced.

The installer was very courteous, and did a great job. The caulking was neat and the windows are sealed up tightly. No more drafts! I also noticed a reduction in street noise. Everything went very well. The new windows look great! I appreciate that the owner showed up on time, there was no need to re-schedule, no excuses for being late. I also appreciate that there were no surprises after the fact, no hidden and quot;extraand quot; costs that only come up after the work is done. Everything was exactly as promised. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I ordered my replacement window, shutters and gutters at the end of October. The installation was completed on March 6th, although a separate installer put the gutters up about 2 months earlier. If you are in a hurry, you might have to make other arrangements. That said, I am very happy with all the work that was done. The salesman was very knowledgeable, The three gentlemen who did the work could not have been more efficient, helpful and pleasant. Eleven windows and shutters were done in a little over 5 hours. The gutter installer was very fast and helpful. I would gladly recommend this company.

Estimator stuck to his appointment. He was detailed in his estimate and easy to work with. The price for a Simonton brand window was also reasonable. I wound up going with a different contractor due to price and the fact that the person from Window World indicated that they were booked out for months and months. I would definitely use Window World and was comfortable with their estimate and process.

Window World was prompt, courteous, professional, and did excellent work -- also cleaned up afterwards. I love my new siding!

The job isn't done yet but so far the experience has been just fine.

Jim from Window World came to visit me in early August to assist me with replacing a faulty first floor window. He took his measurements, recommended an appropriate window, and informed me that the window installation would take about 6-8 weeks. I patiently waited until the beginning of October (12 weeks later) and called inquiring about my window. Lo and behold, it had just arrived and they would contact me to schedule an installation. When I finally got a call to schedule the install, we set a date for November 4th (A Saturday). I received a call the Wednesday before that the installer had an emergency, and would not be able to perform the work that weekend. They offered me an appointment for the following Friday instead. I told them that wasn't acceptable, as I wasn't about to take time off of work. They were able to and quot;squeeze me inand quot; on Saturday November 8th. I called Jim to express my displeasure at the situation, and he was kind enough to offer me $50 off as compensation for the ridiculous amount of time I have had to wait. (This becomes important later) The installer came and put the window in that Saturday. He seemed like a nice enough guy. He was a little messy, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle with a cordless vacuum. He said the work was done, I signed the papers after making sure he noted that the final invoice was actually $50 lower. I wrote and quot;-$50and quot; on the sheet, and initialed it at his direction. Here's where *I* went wrong- I should have went outside and double checked everything, because he did not replace the rotten sill, nor was the exterior wrapped with aluminum. I immediately called Jim, who was dismayed at what had happened. Jim told me that and quot;if the installer (Hugo) didn't come back to call him Monday- in fact, wait until Monday and call anyway and we will run the card only after you're happyand quot;. Jim called the installer, who claimed he had told me he was going to return the next day to finish the work. That conversation never happened. The installer himself called me up to apologize, saying he and quot;had a lot on his mind, and forgotand quot;. To his credit, he did come back Sunday and complete the work. He also took me around and let me inspect the work with him present. I was satisfied, and wished him a good day. I called the main office Monday to let them know they could run my card. The woman who took my call gave me a total of $189, which I corrected with her, telling her Jim was giving me $50 off. I even asked her if she would like to verify this with Jim. She took my word for it, and said they would only bill me for $139. This morning, I see they had charged me $189. I called, and at this point, quite frustrated, told them to correct the charge. I also asked to be put in touch with the manager. I finally spoke to Kim this afternoon, and she did seem genuine about wanting to make me happy, but I got the impression that it was only so far as to get me off the phone with her. I repeatedly told her it wasn't about compensation, but that I wanted them to be held accountable for their numerous screwups. Ultimately, I get another $25 off, and she says I will get two free windows on them the next time I use them (which would require some serious soul searching on my part before I would). I think Kim was losing her patience with me, as she said something along the lines of and quot;We've been on the phone 20 minutes, what can I do to make you happyand quot;. It came out as snippy as you probably just read it. I expressed my offense, and she immediately backed down. I can't say that i'm unsatisfied, because they ultimately did the work, and they did try to make it right, but seriously, this was one window. If they can screw up a single window this badly, how terrible would it go for an entire house? If you go with these guys, you'll definitely get the best price, but be prepared to wait a long time for them to deliver, and DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASSERT YOURSELF WITH THEM!. That seems to be the only way to get any results.

Window World put in windows for us approx. in 2006 and I have no issues with that...did a good job. Since then we have needed replacements for 2 windows. I have a big problem with the Service Dept. They don't return phone calls,or messages. Half the time, after I have ordered the replacement window, I have to call them (cause I don't hear anything from them) and its seems no one can find my paperwork so they say they will call back...and they don't. I have asked for the manager and told her the problem. It got a little better after that. When the man came to replace the window (very nice and competent), I had him look at another window and he said it was warped and I needed both top and bottom sash. So I called that day 8-13-13 and ordered top and bottom sash with the number of the window needed. Had not heard from them so I called them on 9-24. No one answered so I left message with my name and number to call me back. On 10-3 I had not heard from them so I recalled them. Woman I spoke with said she would call me back that day (cause I had told her my problems with them not calling me back)..she did not call me back that day as promised. On 10-4 I recalled them AGAIN and asked for Manager. I felt like they had to reorder as again they seemed to not know about my order, saying the and quot;orderingand quot;? person was not there that day and they would need to speak with them first. She also said if it needed to be reordered that she could get it in 2.5 weeks. 10-7 Got a call saying it should be in the following week and they would call me when in to schedule time to come out and put it in. Got a call this week on 10-24 that the replacements are in and wanted to schedule an appt. I was driving at the time...out of town. I told her I would call back the next day as I was driving and would need to look at my schedule. So I called them back the next day 10-25. I spoke with someone who said the person I needed to speak with was at lunch and I could leave a message on her v/m and she would call me back when she got back..so I did. It is now the 29th and I am still waiting for them to call me back. Gonna wait and see how long it takes them to call me back. I feel these people are incompetent when it comes to customer service. I have complained to them so they know the issues, yet it continues. I just don't get it.

My wife and I looked around for almost a year for windows and a entry door. We contacted Jim from the sales office and he was very patient and easy to work with. We did make a couple changes during the process and everything went smoothly. The installers Kevin and Justin could not be any more professional and courteous. They showed up a hour and a half early and were very respectful of our property and were very knowledgeable of the product. They removed all the trash and debris and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would definitely use Window World again in the future !!

I was surprised how easy it was especially during the winter! Team arrived in time and went right to work. They were done by the end of the day and seven of the windows were essentially floor to ceiling.

It went smoothly and quickly.

I used them two years ago as well. Their product is great, and their employees that do the installations are very good. I have had some issues with the office staff in terms of scheduling, but employees that do the installation make it worth it. They are polite, clean up well, and let you inspect the job before they leave. Their willing to make the adjustments that make you satisfied before they leave.

I will expect to write again when and if services are performed. I DID write when the services were performed, but apparently my second review disappeared into the ether. I am delighted with the work of WIndows World on my siding. Jeremy was prompt (even early some times), and his work was careful, skilled, and efficient. His assistant, Mike, also did fine work. They cleaned up thoroughly after they were finished, and both were professional and courteous. I would recommend siding by WIndow World of the Capital District to anyone.

Window went well, Siding installer did a great job, but did not work continusally. Keeped on calling with excuses not to come, I think he was doing two jobs at once.

Our salesman was prompt and very easy to deal with. We told him exactly what we were looking for, and he was happy to give us our options. He did not try to talk us into higher priced goods or services, but rather gave us options that would work best for our house. Out of all of the companies that came to give us estimates, theirs was the most affordable. We appreciated that their estimate sheets were itemized, so we knew exactly what we were paying for. We have not yet had the work done, but are set to do so in the next 2-4 weeks. We will update after the project has been completed.

The adjustments that they have done were all under warantee for the door. For the first adjustment, the door was not aligned correctly with the frame. With the second adjustment, the door was just pulling hard. It apparently was off of the track or the wheels were incorrectly adjusted but now since they have come it has been corrected and I am satisfied at this time. I think that their staff has some good people and some maybe not as experienced because I had to have them come back twice to adjust it. It was good that they came but for all of that money, it just seemed like too much effort to go through.

They had the product but their price is a little higher than most of the other company. The guy was nice. I was reading reviews on Angieslist and there are people who have issues with them, so I took their advise and proceed with having him call back.

They were excellent. They were very professional and punctual. They called me when the windows got there. When I needed to reschedule the installation, there were very accommodating. When I told them I have to leave town for a month, they said no problem. They stored my windows in their storage and then they installed it when I came back. They completed the installation within a day and a half and they even sealed extra where I told them to seal. They have great price and they're great people to work with. The installers are really experienced and they know what they're doing.

Window World was great. They took two days, needing to be inside the house only on the first day in order to install the actual windows and remove the old ones, which they took without any extra fees or difficulties. The second day included caulking around the windows on the outside as well as other weather sealing and applying the vinyl siding around the outside of the windows. They were very polite the entire time they were working with us, and very considerate, especially since our children needed to take a nap while they working. They left the work area in every room clean, vacuuming up after themselves and not leaving a trail of mess everywhere. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I had 7 windows installed. Gene was excellent and on time for providing the estimate. The installers performed the work on a Saturday and showed up around 11am and finished by 3 for all windows. They were considerate of the inside of my house as well as the outside. All windows were cleanly wrapped on the outside and look amazing. There was one issue i had with a window that was slightly crooked (couldn't tell right away) and the service manager was out relatively quickly to fix the window (including ordering a new sash). Overall I am extremely satisfied with the windows. They even performed work at my brother and father's houses which are 45 miles away!!!

The siding that we chose is beautiful. It was a brand new color that came out this year. The installers that did the work were very nice and really knew their job. The craftsmanship shows through in the detail of every corner, roof line, and side of the house. if I ever needed a house resided again I would definitely choose Window World and these installers.

The experience was easy, straight forward and transparent. The salesman was very personable and honest. We plan to use their services.

Everyone I dealt with at Window World was great to work with. All the windows were replaced as promised with no issues. We did have some problems with a few screens that they did end up shipping replacements for. However i thought they should have installed them since it was their fault in the beginning. Not a bid deal though....they just pop in.

The sales representative was on time for each visit and did not rush through the measurement or contract writing process. While he was accessing the overall project and taking measurements he allowed me to sit and look through the color samples. On the companies website I was able to view my choices on sample houses before making my decision. On the second appointment the owner also came with our salesman to check a measurement on a special door that we needed. At the conclusion of that meeting we decided to place an order for another door for the garage. At no time was there any high pressure s

They were very efficient and got it done quickly. We haven't made a final decision yet.
