Description of Work: [another company] did not return phone calls as I was told they would. Most of the conversation with the [another company]person show much more they had to charge to come to my area. I went with Window World and they were so much more responsive and helpful. B for Window World and F for [another company].

Description of Work: We had scheduling issues due to what salesman said and what they did. There were things that weren't included in job that normally are. was charged extra for things they had to come back and fix. had 3 houses going at the same time and had asked them to quote other 2 they never showed up. While i was away my partner got their number off my desk to quote a job (not knowing i would not use them again) n they never showed for that either. Also as internet said replacement window for one that was broken took 2 1/2 weeks. then another week for them to get to me.

Description of Work: Installed a Patio sliding door. Great, except the wait time from the day we ordered to installation time. Took way longer than expected and installed during the cold winter months

Description of Work: The original windows were installed Dec. 2009. I purchased windows for the whole house. (13 windows) Everything went wonderfully, and they cleaned up so well, there was no sign of them being here. It was 7 below zero, and they came anyway. In August 2013, the seal was broken on my picture window. (By this time, they were under new management) After 8 appts, and 2 1/2 months, they finally replaced my window. There were various excuses why they couldn't make the appt. or they just didn't show up. In June 2014, had to call to get 8 sashes replaced. Seals were broken. It took 2 months to get them replaced. At that time, I ordered a new picture window. The seal was broken again. It took almost 2 months, and a couple broken appts. before it was replaced. November 2014, I ordered a 9th sash for a broken seal. That was replaced in 3 weeks. At that time, (Dec. 11) I ordered another (#10) sash. I am still waiting. The windows are very nice looking, and work well, but apparently, the seals don't last.

Description of Work: They were excellent. Very professional. Replaced 18 windows in my house. Showed up on time and completed all the work in one day. Cleaned up after they were done. Windows have been excellent. Would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: We had a window installed in our kitchen and the warped one removed and salvaged for parts. They had the best price and believe me I called everyone. It took a little while to get the install appointment because they were all booked up. However their professional behavior, punctuality, quality, and price were worth the wait. They even brought the old window down to my basement for me. They were very sweet, courteous, and made sure I was completely satisfied before they left.

Description of Work: Called Window World and spoke to a sales representative named Damian Constantine for a free quote, we made a appointment which he was very prompt at. He measured all our windows all 13 of them and gave us a quote that was $3000 less than a previous quote. He told us it would be five or six weeks before instalation, turned out to be only 4 weeks. The instalation crew arrived at appointed time, Mike Pettit and his two sons Mike Jr. and Ron. They wasted no time, working together each doing a great job. Had a small problem with one of the windows, an imperfection in the glass no one saw including my wife and I. Call Window World spoke to a Kayla and she said a replace would be ordered that day, window replacement arrived in a reasonable length of time and Mike and his boys came back and took care of the problem. It's not too often you get to praise a company for doing a great job so here to a fine company and a great working crew. Thanks Again Window World

Description of Work: The salesman told me that the 2 windows were really one unit and that both would have to be replaced because of the cracks in the lower pane of ONE window. He quoted $750. Later,I realized that I should have called a glass repair business, which I did. The pane was replaced in a week for $150. The Window World representative should have told me to call a glass repair business rather than try to get a contract for work that was NOT needed.

Description of Work: Removed old windows and storms. Replaced with new vinyl windows. Covered framing so there would be no painting involved, caulked inside and out. Took away old windows and storms. Cleaned up all debris. I purchased six windows.
