It worked out great. The installers themselves were fantastic. They were great guys, great personality and very professional. They were here when they said they were going to be here.

Great. When we called to set up the appointment, the company even gave a few pointers to check whether or not the air conditioning unit actually needed fixed, or just reset. They came on time, and fixed the until within an hour.

Nick showed up on time. My dog liked him and we both watched the entire procedure. The old furnace was removed and replaced with the new one. It was all so very interesting. This did not take as long as I had thought it would...he cleaned up his work area and stayed long enough to make certain that the furnace was functioning as it should. I had a nice warm house that day and for the remiander of the season. Nick was very personable. He explained what he was doing and did answer any questoins that I had.

Service was very professional. We were told to replace the furnace, as it was at the end of its life. We decided to go with another company for furnace replacement as they provided more value. But we will consider farrell brothers for future work.

Everything went fine. In talking to the provider, we agreed that the Big Deal for annual HVAC service would be better for me, and I plan to purchase that.

I was so pleased with Farrell Brothers! I had originally called another company who came out to try to fix my central AC unit. The other company added refrigerant and told me that I needed several new parts, which they wouldn't install at that time. The AC unit stopped working again and the other company gave me a very hard time and wanted me to pay another service call charge. That's when I called Farrell Brothers after getting the deal for a $49 service call. They came out the same day and were super helpful. They fixed the problem, helped educate me about the unit and when I might want to consider replacement (it is 15 years old), and advised me that I didn't need the new parts that the other company told me I did. The AC was up and running again through the end of the summer and I hope to get a few more years out of it, at least. I was so pleased that I plan to call Farrell Brothers in the future. Wish I had called them the first time!

Farrell Bros was great! Everyone I spoke to went out of there way to accomodate us on short notice for a late afternoon appointment. When they were unable to find the exact part for the fix during off hours, they came back out at 8 PM with a short term fix to keep the A/C running during a 90 degree humid day. When the part was avaialable, they came the next day to complete the repair. Thanks to everyone at Farrell Bros. I'm sure I will be calling back for service in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out very well. I was supposed to pay $149 but I used the coupon I bought 3 years ago. The service was good.

Farrell Brothers Inc. are very professional. It was all good.

On June 5th, Farrell Bros. replaced a circuit board on our Lenox furnace. I was told and it is stated on the invoice that the board was under warranty and that $149.32 would be sent us in a check from Farrell Bros. I have called Randy twice and left messages on his voice mail to return my call and get an update on the reimbursement. I have not seen the check and he has not returned my call.

Very pleased with the thoroughness of a/c diagnostics. Explanation was clearly understood. Technician was very responsive to questions and applied the inspection fee to the cost of the work performed. Highly recommended.

Waited so long to post this review since I wanted to first have my central air system fixed before issuing my conclusions about Farrell Bros work. While Jake the service technician succeeded in finding and plugging a leak in the line, and fixing an electrical issue with the humidifier, the system still did not function when the work was done. Reporting low back pressure (which caused the compressor to stop), Jake solemnly declared that I would need a brand new compressor unit or a whole new system. I held off and waited until I found a company that would try to repair the existing system rather than replace the whole thing. Boy, am I glad I did! I found a company called Results Inc., that was willing to spend the time and energy to get to the bottom of it. After John and his son from Results spent almost a day working on the system, removing moisture in the line and installing a moisture removal unit to keep moisture from collecting again (which FB didn't do), and pinpointing and removing a plug in the orifice at the coil unit in the basement, my unit is back on line and working perfectly. I spent just under $400 to repair my system, rather than the $3500 for a new compressor or $5600 for a whole new system that Farrell Brothers wanted , and if I had gone ahead and replaced the compressor, the system would have still been clogged at the coil. Given their extremely high prices, less than mediocre ability to fully research and repair my system, and eagerness to sell me new equipment for, I cannot recommend Farrell Brothers. Buyer Beware! -- Update to respond to response from Farrell Brothers: Yes, as stated in my original review, Farrell Brothers did repair the leak, inserted dye and repaired the humidifier connection. No argument there. However, after recharging the system with coolant when the work was completed, the compressor shut down a short time later that day due to low back pressure. The technician returned later the same day, and declared that the compressor was dead and needed replacement. At that time, they knew the system was not functioning, so they are lying in their response that they assumed the unit was working all last summer. I subsequently received a quote from Farrell Brothers for a replacement compressor using R22 coolant (for $3600) or complete replacement of the system using new refrigerant (for $5600). I also received a follow up call a couple weeks later from them inquiring which option I would like to take advantage of, at which time I informed them that I would hold off and use window units instead until I fully researched the issue. As I stated in my original review, the back pressure issue that was causing the compressor unit to stop was due to a clog in the orifice at the coil unit, causing the low back pressure situation. The problem was not due to another leak or a failed compressor.

Service was as described and very prompt. Service Tech Nick, was very familiar with Lennox furnace which helped.

Overall it was thorough and included some suggestions for positioning that were much appreciated and welcome. A very professional experience that we were happy with.

. Work took about 2 hours - he was very thorough. It is now nearly April anf the furnace has worked perfectly through the entire winter.

Nick R was outstanding and on time. He was very professional. He made sure to use my discount on my final bill. He ran a diagnostic on the furnace to pinpoint the problem. He didn't have the part on his truck, but went and got it and came right back to install it. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I was able to get an appointment quickly, and had a new unit working the same day. You can't ask for more than that.

I bought the $49 special from Angie's List for the service call, so I made an appointment with them and did not feel like I was being treated any differently than usual. All went smoothly.

I got this Big Deal for my Church which had not had its AC overhauled in a very long time. The service man was professional, punctual and pleasant. He replaced UV filters and cleaned everything, giving our Trustees good advice. We were very satisfied and will be contacting Farrel Bros. again I am sure!
