Description of Work: Checked furnace due to carbon monoxide detector. Furnace was good, detector was bad.

Description of Work: "Yearly check of two furnaces and inspection of an air conditioner which was not working. | |The technician arrived in the time frame allotted. He kept me informed of what he was doing and what needed to be done. He suggested that we wait until the summer to fix the AC because we were not going to use it until then and wrote down the price of repair so that it could not go up. "

Description of Work: We were given a 4 hour window for a service call and at the end of the 4 hours we called the provider and was informed the technicians were running late. We were not able to stay for another indefinite amount of time and we rescheduled for Friday (2 days later) and this was not going to work for our time frame as we had an insurance adjuster coming and he needed a work estimate before hand. We were disappointed that the provider did not call us to inform of of them running late nor offering to come later that same day after we returned.

Description of Work: I had a ductless heat pump/ air conditioning unit installed at my townhouse. The owner ( Randy) came out to do the estimate and was helpful in terms of giving me options for installation as well as informative about the process in general. The workmen ( Jake & Ryan) showed up on the initial date of service that we had scheduled - having called ahead to let me know they would be a few minutes late. There was some damage on the original unit and Randy went in search of a new unit right away. He found one within the hour. Jake and Ryan worked steadily through out the day and were polite, respectful and kept me informed through out the day about their activities. When installation was complete, Jake was patient in describing instructions for use and suggestions for care. He answered all my questions thoroughly, with relevant information, and did not 'talk down' to me. The pricing seemed to be in line with other companies offering the same services/products. I also found the office staff to be very responsive to my calls/ questions. I would not hesitate to use Farrel Bros. again for any of the services they provide.
