Everything was explained satisfactorily. This was our first experience with pest control, so we were apprehensive at first. It's early for carpenter ants to appear so we got on top of it right away. let's see if the treatment works in the ant's busy season. Was a bit disappointed that no one followed up with a phone call to see how we were doing.

It is too early to tell as the work is ongoing until next spring. We will see if getting rid of bats in attic works and also other pests, mostly mice. They contacted me immediately and seem very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with.

The tech arrived on time, explained what he was going to do, completed the work, and followed up with me afterward so I knew what to expect after the treatment. He was back in 5 days as promised to complete the follow up treatment. Problem solved!

Meerkat came to our home for a free inspection and explained what they were going to do. They arrived on time and sprayed the house. They then came back a week later and did a second spraying of the house. The bees are now gone.

I live in a relatively new townhouse with a full basement bordering a nature preserve. I began to have problems with mice in my basement that kept getting progressively worse over the past two years despite my best efforts using traps and poison. Meerkat Pest Control did an outstanding job of diagnosing my problem and developing a plan that they guaranteed would solve my problem completely. The workers who performed the work were thorough, meticulous and respectful of my property. They explained every step to me and gave me a visual inspection of the abatement when it was completed. Problem totally solved!

I went with the third option All Star Pest control and was very satisfied. This company was my second choice but to pricy for what I was looking for.

So far NO Ants. Time will tell.

Signed up for a 3 season spray program, it's fine. Same stuff they use can be bought on Amazon for 1/20th of the price.

Hired for exterior animal control and again for bats in the attic. Very satisfied!

I was very dissatisfied with the original work. However since the company followed up with me, came back and cleaned out the squirrel nests, re-closed the entry points with closely matching materials, I've re-rated them. Couldn't rate them a 5 because of the re-do. But so far they squirrels have stayed out.

I had a problem with moles in my yard. they trapped for several weeks and caught the moles and have apparently eliminated the problem. their reps are very courteous and communicate well as to what they are doing. They provide a detailed report after every visit. The only issue I had at all is they missed coming one week and did not communicate that to me. Also they are very pricey, but I guess its worth it if the problem is solved.

On October 13th Terminix came to my house to do a treatment for the slight infestation of bed bugs I had. When the tech arrived she said I could stay during the treatment - this is against protocol. The tech entered my home with a single can of aerosol. I questioned it and was told this was the best product to use for my problem. I had the bed bugs on my mattress. The tech sprayed half of my bedroom not moving the dressers or taking off the electrical covers. She then did just half of my living room, behind couch and love seat. When she was done said my problem was over. After she left I really wondered why she didn't spray my bed. I call and spoke with the Branch manager, Brian. He stated FDA doesn't allow the pesticides to be sprayed where one sleeps. Ok sounds good to me. He stated they use a powder and a spray. Stated powder is used on the under side of the box spring. I stated Tech used only a spray. Brian pretty much called me a liar saying that the tech who came to my home was one of the best. So for this half jerk treatment Terminix wanted $800. I refused to pay them after 2 weeks went by I started getting bit again. So my landlord called Meerkat. OMG Joe, the inspector, came out and told me I would need one treatment and I would be all set. After such a horrible experience with Terminix I said no I want 2 treatments. Joe tried to talk me out of the second one stating I really didn't need it but I insisted. He then gave me a total of a $400 discount. WOW. Joe was great. Then the next day Dean came to do the extermination. He spent time explaining to me what he was using and what each product was for. When he went back to his truck he got out a canister, which he filled with 2 different chemicals. He then had 2 cans of aerosol and a steam cleaner. He steam cleaned my carpets and all my furniture including my bed. He also stated that there is a spray that is safe to spray on a mattress, which is also used. I then asked about the powder Terminix said can be used under the bed. Dean stated that you can't use the powder where one sleeps. So Terminix had it backwards REALLY!! Dean was in my apt for 1 1/2 hours. He told me I would not be bitten again. No more bites. I probably don't need the second treatment but it is for peace of mind. I give Meerkat 6 stars. They are a company of Character and Integrity trying to talk me out of a treatment I didn't need. Terminix would have said no problem and taken all my money. I totally recommend Meerkat for anything issue you might be having. Thank again Meerkat for such a pleasant experience and peace of mind!!!! Michele Costello

The real proof of the value of this service will come in the spring, but for now we are very satisfied with the promptness, relative cost and demonstrated experience with this company.
