Description of Work: Main-Care (Greenwich, NY depot) supply propane gas to my house. They make regular calls to check the level, and top-up as necessary. The staff are friendly and responsive, and I have an automatic debit to my credit union account for payment, which is convenient.

Description of Work: I participate in the pre-pay program. It is a great opportunity to save money and the program has worked out for me. However, 2x this winter I ran out of propane when the arrangement was they come automatically to fill my tank. After the 2nd time I ran out I marked my calendar and then I called them when I was running low. I am considering changing providers due to this. The previous winter I ran out once and had to call them to remind them to come deliver to me. I also ran out late fall one year. I have been with them 4 winters.

Description of Work: Please read this before signing up for a price cap plan with this company! I have trusted this company for many years. Although their cap plan was always more expensive than other companies I still trusted them to be my oil provider and maintenance care for my heating system. Seems the 2011high oil prices brought out the greed in them and they went over my pre-paid amount for a delivery in May! The had never delivered oil to us in May in years past but right at the height of soaring oil prices they made sure to do that this year. And to add insult to injury, they cancelled the maintenance plan before the end since I refused to sign up for another plan. They also refused to reimburse me the 1 month left on the contract! I'm very upset to end my business with them but glad to find out before I committed to them another heating season
