Description of Work: After 14 years of being frustrated with almost every interaction with this company, I finally switched fuel oil and propane service providers in the fall of 2015. I seemed to have problems every time I dealt with them. They neglected to set me up for scheduled deliveries when I set up an account, then tried to bill me for an emergency delivery. They told me my oil tank was leaking and needed to be replaced when it was not. They billed me for services I had already paid for. Their fuel prices are also high. To be fair, the people I dealt with on the phone were lovely but I should not have had to call them so often to straighten up their messes. I do not recommend this company.

Description of Work: Can't say enough good things about Main Care. On Nov. 17-19 they installed a new natural gas heating system that replaced the old gas furnace. The technicians were amazing and the price could not be beat. Main Care gets an A+!

Description of Work: I had been a customer of Main Care for over 25 years. I called this week as we had turned on the upstairs heat and water was leaking from the relief valve of the pipe from the boiler to the pipes going upstairs. I was told to call a plumber it was not a boiler issue. I called a plumber from Angies' List and was extremely pleased but he told me to call my heating repair company as the expansion tank was full, and it should be emptied or the relief valves might blow again if the boiler turns on. I called Main Care and was told I would have to wait 3 weeks to have some one come. I asked if they could do better and they came up with a date two weeks away. The receptionist was abrupt with me saying routine inspections are scheduled months in advance so I would have to wait. Having had credit balance sit for months with them and having been a good customer for years, I felt the relationship of doing business with them for years was for nothing. I had replaced a boiler with them, which required gerrymandering to get it to work and for a long time felt I had to continue to do business with them due to the unique set up of the one boiler. However, with the treatment I received the past couple of days, I have no intentions of doing business with them again.

 + -1 moreI am really not very pleased with their services. In one way I am, but I also think they are very expensive, so I decided to discontinue using their services. Their previous services have been fine. I find that their contract price is very high and they charge a surcharge just for signing up for their price guarantee if you will. They don't give you anything off of the price, they just say that if it's less than that then that's what you have to pay. They were very prompt. They will be coming over to give me another estimate for a new heating system. I am not sure I would use them. I would use their services in the future also.
Description of Work: I used Main Care Energy services for heating and A/C services. They came out to fix my burner. I used their services a year ago.

 + -1 moreI feel secure having this service. My furnace is older and if there is a problem, I have all ready paid to have the work done. I will continue to purchase the service package from them. Their price is also very good.
Description of Work: Main Care cleaned and inspected my furnace. I have a one year contract with them as they come once a year to clean and make any adjustments as needed. If you need them to come out for a problem during the year, it is covered under the maintenance agreement.
