Service was excellent, the dumpster was great and easy to use. Dealt with Todd the owner directly who lightning quick to answer emails/calls/voicemails. Very friendly and informative. Dropped off the dumpster with no issue and came and picked it up promptly with no issue either. Shortly after emailed us out a final bill/receipt including the receipt from the landfill documenting how much in weight was dumped. A+++++ Will absolutely use again and recommend.

I was told that they recycled anything that could be recycled but I don't think anything they threw into the truck was going to be recyclable, which included a piano keyboard. They just piled everything on top of everything else; bad on good, so to speak. I was desperate because I had a deadline to meet. I would only hire them again if I was just getting rid of junk.

Very well. Staff was very professional and accommodating. Called last minute for dumpster, they were able to accommodate last minute request.

They immediately went to work and had 90% of it gone in one hour. They found a few unexpected things at the bottom of the pile and they took care of those things as well. I'd definitely hire them again.

They didn't spend the entire amount of time that they were supposed to here. They said the truck was already full so they had to leave. But as far as what they actually brought up from my basement and took out was fine. They did say they were going to recycle some of it for us which we thought was nice. One of the things that stood out was that they stick stood around and chatted with my husband, I finally said, 'The clock is ticking...' It was okay. They did what they were supposed to do but I wouldn't say they were industrious about it. The quality was good.

Showed up on time for estimate, gave all details making me comfortable with planned removal. Showed up day of removal on time with three man crew. Crew worked incredibly hard, removed hot tub and cleaned up debris. Very happy with service provided.

They did a great job. Fast, efficient, and friendly... was even asked to do a walk through when they were done, which was a good detail. I was totally surprised they weren't provided with a wheel barrow, though... I feel bad for the employees if they have to do every job that way. Would/will totally use their service again if the need arises, too!

We had completed the major part of clean out of a 10,000 sq ft warehouse using several 30 yard dumpsters and supplying our own labor. Our experience was that loading a dumpster, even from dock level, requires getting into the dumpster to pack product efficiently. We also found the waste container company was inconsistent with the cost of each removed container. Pick up of filled and delivery of empty units was a very unreliable aspect to our experience. So when we arrived at the final phase of cleaning out, to clear site for new tenant, we researched Angie's list and after reading great reviews about Junk King's services, we gave them a call. We were delighted to be scheduled very quickly. Two men, Jerry and Dale, and a truck arrived on time and ready to work. By the end of day one, product was sorted (donations, recyclable metals, other recycle materials and trash), 3 loads were removed and disposed. On day two we needed to empty out and dispose of 4 large plywood storage containers and then dispose of the containers as well. Jerry and Dale were amazing, they emptied out the huge crates broke them down loaded them in truck first then the contents on top. We highly recommend Junk King owner Todd and Jerry and Dale (Movers and Good Guys). Don't hesitate to call them! Junk King Albany is the best!

The two gentlemen came to my house, on time, and were very professional. They called to let me know they were on their way. I felt comfortable with them in my home. I had a window air conditioner that had been in for 10 years and was difficult to remove. They did not give up and went out of their way not to damage the window that it was stuck in. They were neat and organized, and the job went smoothly. I would use them again and highly recommend the Company. They make "junk" removal look easy!

Came same day to provide estimate. 2 days later came and removed all material. Price was the same as a roll off I had previously rented but, in this case, they did all the work of loading the items for haul away.

I called on Friday morning and they scheduled me for Monday, 8-10am. They give a two hour arrival window with a call when they are about 30 minutes away. As promised, they called me a 8:30 and arrived before 9. The job took about 2 1/4 hours. This is the second time for these guys. We used them last October. This time they cleared an attic and basement. A lot of the stuff in the attic was loose. They had to fill containers to remove most of it. The attic junk filled over 3/4 of the truck. The two guys, led by Jerry, did an amazing job. The attic was on the third floor, over 35 steps. They worked their tails off and never moaned once about the job. Jerry had been the head guy on our last clean out in October. The basement junk filled the rest of the truck. The cost is based on the truckload. We had one full truck. this time. We also had a TV and three air conditioners. There was an additional charge for those, but I knew that from the last visit. They also tell you of the extra charge up front. This company is first class and the workers are professional and efficient. Just a reminder that they do not take paint.

Junk Kings was timely, professional, and got all the junk cleared quickly. They even swept up the garage after to clear out any loose scraps (i.e. wood dust, Styrofoam particles, etc.). I have used junk kings a number of times as we renovate our house and junk builds up in our garage throughout, and I will continue to use them in the future.

I bought a coupon from another service here on Angie's List (KJB Trash Removal) and was the victim of what I consider a bait-and-switch: there was no mention when buying the coupon that they could not schedule me for at least three weeks. I did not have that much lead time, as it put me in the following month, so I had to find another service. I went to Junk King's website, scheduled a convenient date and time, and bingo: I received an immediate confirmation email. I hoped for the best. The gentlemen they sent (Richie and Freddie) could not have been nicer or more efficient. I had scheduled on their website for between 12 & 2pm; they called at 9am and offered me an earlier slot; I had other plans, but it was very nice to be offered the option, especially after my negative experience trying to get service for my Angie's List coupon with KJB Trash Removal. Richie conferred with me about what was to be hauled and made sure that they were prepared for the work. They came right at the appointed time time, quickly assessed the job and gave me a quote which I found very fair. They immediately set to work in a cheerful and thorough manner on what I assumed would take at least an hour - instead, they were done in 35 minutes, and they left my garage absolutely broom-clean. I will be cleaning out a 2BR apartment in Clifton Park next month and plan on using Junk King again. I could not have had a more pleasant experience. Kudos!

Again the price was fair and the workers were extremely pleasant and helpful. I will definitely use this company again. Each time, they were quick to schedule a convenient date and time. Great service! I called on a Saturday morning and they had a timeslot later that day. Received a phone call right in the timeslot window letting us know of their estimated time of arrival. They arrived promptly, took a look at our good size pile and gave us a quote, we agreed and they loaded up their truck and done, so easy. We will definitely use their services again if/when needed.

I had responded by the 10% off coupon on their Angie's List information. They called me and also sent a message via Angie's List to set up the estimate for what I wanted done. They called earlier in the day agreed upon to see if they could come earlier than the 11 -1 time frame agreed upon, which wasn't good for me. I received a call around 11 am asking if anyone had contacted me and I told the caller about the earlier call. Junk King sent a crew and truck - Richie and Freddie to give me an estimate. I agreed to that and they started to remove the items immediately. They were very professional and we agreed on what they were to remove and I accompanied the one removing items from inside my house and garage while the other removed items from my outside deck and shed. They cleaned up the driveway where items had broken during loading. I would hire them again based on my experience.

Todd was very professional, as was his team when they showed up. They worked fast, and were out of here within 30 minutes! Same day service, great quality, and great price! Will definitely recommend them!

I picked Junk King because they had a large number of positive Angie's List reviews. On a Friday, I called for an estimate for junk removal from an apartment and carriage house. They scheduled a visit for an estimate on the next Monday, between 2 and 4. Monday morning I received a call and they asked if they could come earlier than scheduled. I agreed and met two gentlement at the apartment at 1:00. They told me that they had a free afternoon and if I accepted their estimate they could start right away. The charge is based on truckloads. They estimated between 1 and 1 1/2 truckloads. The price seemed great so I accepted. The 2nd floor apartment had just a carpet and a large recliner. The two story carriage house was packed with multiple tables, couches, chairs and beds. Stacks of miscellaneous stuff and leftovers from a garage sale. Also, lots of loose, unorganized items. Once they cleared the easy part (the apartment), they moved on to the carriage house. In less than two hours they had cleared the carriage house. They were careful packing the truck to make maximum use of the space. Everyhing but some recycle metal fit in the truck. They called for a second truck for the metal. That truck arrived in about 20 minutes. The total capacity was 1 and 1/8 trucks. I paid an extra $20 to remove an old TV. The two men worked as a great team and even seemed to enjoy their job. They were creative in moving items from the second floor of the carriage house. I appreciated that they made an effort to fit the bulk of the junk into one truck. Note: Items they could not take included paint and propane tanks.
