Junk King Albany

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out very good. They are one of the reasons that I came to Angie's List to find out places like them. What I liked about them is that they did the job, they were on time and quick. One kid, I brought him in to see something in the backyard and I had him go across the carpet with his shoes on with the mud on, which he should have removed. It would not have happened if I had taken him around the back instead of through the hall to see the chairs. Other than that they were very good.

Junk King arrived on time, did exactly what they said they would do and were friendly and courteous while doing it. The price was fair, it increased becaue of the amount of junk they hauled away. I would definitely recommend this service and would use them again.

they showed up as promised and picked up what they said would be covered by the price i paid. while i do not slam them for doing anything wrong, i was frankly expecting more stuff to be hauled off! so personally, i find them quite expensive, even though, yes, they bring the container (truck) and manpower to haul the stuff away.

They were very responsive, called to confirm the appointment, came early and took away all we needed for the low end of the estimated price range. They even helped remove a troublesome built in with no fuss. They were both very polite and courteous and careful in the place not to disturb anything. Overall they were excellent.

No communication from Junk King after I asked them via e-mail if they accepted electronics?

Originally we called about removal of the clutter. However on their first visit they discovered we had an infestation of carpet beetles. Because they can spread to other places they advised me that they would need to come back and suit up and they did. They worked in a timely fashion and removed everything making sure to wrap anything in plastic that required such treatment. I was pleased with the speed with which they were able to empty the room. While they were not exterminators they did spray the room as they went along. While the job was a lot pricier than I expected it had to be done and the service they delivered merited the cost. I would highly recommend their service because of the quality and professionalism while being pleasant and courteous to me and my family.

I signed up for the big deal for $111.00 and ended up paying $305.40. The woman on the phone said its possible it may come to a little more providing what was there. That was alright with me, but not so much. They didn't give me an estimate. Just got to work. They made me feel very rushed. Before I called them I had had a couple of estimates and the highest was $200.00

It was nice and efficient. They were here about fifteen minutes they packed up and left. The serviceman was nice and pleasant. We were very pleased with the service. I would reccommend them to others.

It was fine. They responded very quickly. They were there when they said they were going to be there. One of the things that I like was they charged by how much space it take up on the truck rather by time. I didn’t feel uncomfortable in terms of spending time talking about stuff. They were flexible because once you start looking through junk, you’ll find more things that you want to clean out. We went beyond what we originally paid for but they had space in the truck and adjusted the price reasonably to take the additional things. We had some extremely heavy objects and they got the guys together and hold it out. So with heavy or unwieldy items, it was no problem with them. So we felt good having a cleaner space when they were gone. There was something that we had hoped could be reused and it was broken. So they took it out and it couldn’t be reused. I don’t know if it could have been reused or they just determined that nobody would take it. I would use them again. One of the nice things is that they took stuff that you can’t get rid of easily. Certainly, with the Big Deal that we got, it was cheaper than anything else that we would have got in regular price on. They weren’t grumpy about the job they did.

Called them for Angie's list special. Everything was as expected. Hauled some junk and old windows out of basement.

We have used Junk King (Ravena, NY) twice now and both times we have been impressed with their service. They are prompt, courteous, and their price was reasonable. They make a difficult job SO much easier (we did a complete home clean out). It is REALLY good to know that a large percentage of what they pick up is recycled/donated. I also appreciated the patience when I called several times prior to our appointment with various questions. Would most definitely use them again, as well as recommend them. Bravo guys!!!

Responded to my request for services promptly; schedule a date and time that were in accordance with my needs; called ahead to confirm the exact timing; the 2 person crew was very professional and completed the job expeditiously and to my complete satisfaction.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out very well. I just paid the price of the big deal. They were on time. They called to tell us when they were going to come. They were very professional.

I am please with the service and would use them again. It was very easy to arrange an appointment on line and the owner also called. They were running late on the day of the appointment because some jobs ran over. But they kept me informed and we worked together to make it happen. They were very efficient when they got here and did a great job!

Overall, they did a great job, and were very responsive and helpful. The only problem pertained to scheduling the work. We used an Angie's List coupon, which required us to work with Angie's List for scheduling. Unfortunately, they did not forward our preferred dates/times to Junk King on a timely basis, which resulted a a delay of a couple of days. Certainly not Junk King's fault and no big deal.

On time professional

Same day service. Used the Angie's list deal and added some more trash, for a reasonable price. They took everything I wanted to get rid of, Nice people to do business with!

I have used their services in the past and as usual they were punctual and very professional. You do not have to stockpile your items in one place. They will go and retrieve them where ever they are located.
