At the same time we were scheduled to do this, we had a sump pump failure and needed more. Todd (the owner) worked it out that he'd do them separately so as to not comingle my claim, but that he'd also honor the same rate for the insurance removal since we were doing it all in one trip. He always returned calls promptly. The day of, he called very early (about 8:10 - which I appreciated since they were due at the house at 9) to let me know that he personally would not be attending, but that one of his most senior guys (I think Mike?) would be there and that he explained everything to him so he'd know what to do and I wouldn't have to repeat myself. Of course, my fear was "yeah, right, I'll have to explain the whole thing again and he still won't know what to do", but Todd was exactly right. Mike knew exactly what Todd and I had discussed, and took care of everything. There was one item that was accidentally forgotten, so they called (actually, both of them did, Mike and Jason) to let me know that they'd swing back to get them, and it was already gone by the time I got back. Great job and I'll use them again for sure!

Called and if it was ok to show up early. No problem, they were there in 20 min..

They did a better than expected job, at a great price, and at the time they said they would do it. Even received a thank you note in the mail. I will not use anyone else for trash removal.Top notch clean out professionals.

It was a fantastic experience and we are very happy with the work. Our 3-car garage had no room for cars since it had old furniture, tvs, appliances etc... Our basement had everything from books, toys, old clothes, baby stuff, boxes, random stuff, etc. Both areas were extremely cluttered and useless. It was driving us crazy! We also had an old hot tub on part of the deck that was broken (we inherited it from the previous home owners - tried to have it repaired, but it wasn't worth it). I emailed Todd about the job ahead of time, and mentioned the hot tub as well. He was willing to disconnect the hot tub for us, since we didn't know how to do that. Todd pointed out that some of the other electrical connections were loose and that we should look into that. Very helpful. We reached out on a Friday and they were available on Monday morning. We expected the team at 8, but they were delayed by about an hour - they did call to let us know they would be late. Todd went over the price with us upon arrival once he saw the amount of items to be removed, and it was acceptable to us. We ended up adding some additional items that we initially didn't think to include. In the end, our junk consisted of 2 full trucks, so the original price went up, but we expected that. Overall the price seemed a bit high - $1200 for two full trucks, even with the 10% Angie's List discount. But we are very satisfied and glad we did it. The team was very professional. They swept up the areas where they worked. Would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks Junk King!

The three men that came arrived within the agreed on window.. They took all our junk without any damage to walls floors or pictures. They were careful and courteous and got the job done very quickly. We will use them again.

I was fortunate to reach Todd on a Saturday afternoon, when I realized that some help was needed with the clean-out job. They agreed to come this afternoon, arrived quickly, organized their plan & moved everything out to the truck. They were courteous, professional, and quick. I will use them again, and would recommend them without reservation.

Very punctual for noon appt, although called mid-morning to try to move it earlier to levelize the work schedule for the crew and customers. Unfortunately I could not accommodate the change, so stayed with original noon plan. Came right on time. I purchased the Angie's List $99 special for a small load. At the conclusion of the pickup the driver, not knowing I was Angie's List, was going to charge me their normal $89 fee for a small load. So I let them know that I had an Angie's List $99 coupon already, so I ended up paying more than their normal charge. I still would use them again, because they are very professional and responsive. I would do it direct through them rather than Angie's List.

They were on time, very friendly and very quick to load it all up and tote it away.

It went very smoothly. Everyone was courteous and professional. I did go over the prepaid volume - as advised in advance - and had to pay a little extra. No sweat. They did a great job, separated the "junk" from the recycling, were in and out very quickly, and swept up when they were done. I would happily use them again.

The estimate was great. The provider parked on the driveway and was going to hand carry all the junk - my husband had to tell him to drive on our grass to make things easier! He cleaned everything up nicely. Was in and out quickly. Definitely a keeper for future services!

Two workmen arrived on time. They were very pleasant and professional young men.They backed the truck up to my garage, and proceeded to remove designated items from my basement and garage. Some items were very heavy but the workers were very efficient and made the heavy lifting look easy. They appear to have a very good system as to classifying each item: some were broken down immediately on the truck; others , e.g. metals, were placed in a certain spot on the truck I was absolutely amazed at how quickly and efficiently the job was completed. When they finished, they swept up the basement. I felt like I got my basement back for the first time in years!

Second time we used them. My husband likes them. Very prompt, courteous and professional. I know we had alot of stuff but still think it's cheaper going to the dump. However, the service cannot be beat and my husband feels it is worth it.

See above. This is the first I have used Angie's List, I am out $99 and still have to find someone to take away a refrigerator and a backboard. Yes, I am angry and displeased!!!! I was here all day waiting for them which was not especially convenient and for them not to show certainly does not speak much for reliability.

They took old carpet away. They are very professional, prompt. Will use them whenever I need to get rid of Junk.

The junk king workers were wonderful. My family was moving and we had lots of things stored over the years that needed to be cleaned out and thrown out. The workers followed me from room to room and removed the items I asked them to. After removing the items they even swept up the storage room of the basement.

Called to make appointment yesterday and they were able to come today. Very quick service. I didn't have to do anything but show them what items to remove. They worked quickly and efficiently. I am very pleased, and plan to use them again very soon.

They added additional fees that my husband paid so I wasn't there to discuss my disappointment with the increase.

Excellent. They came on time, were very helpful and worked hard, including removing some awkward and heavy material from the basement. I am very pleased with their work.

Went very well. Junk King truck and two men showed up at exact date and time. Both men were very courteous and professional. One of the men reviewed all junk and furniture items and provided me with an estimate. A couple items required an additional fee and I was advised during his review of the additional cost. I accepted and both men carried all items outside and loaded the truck. I took advantage of a late Fall discount found on Angie's list. Fees may be higher during the summer months so I would recommend waiting until late fall (if you can) and look for discounted services.
