Description of Work: Gave us an estimate for a move fr East Greenbush to Albany. Came on time and with the number of movers we agreed to. The crew was friendly,courteous and professional. Nice people. And the move went very well. The movers were helpful, asked the right questions and made recommendations if asked. They were careful with our belongings and put stuff where we wanted it to be. |No damage or breakage. |While the move itself went better than expected, the communications between the day we got our estimate and the day of the move were a little lacking. We felt they could have reached out a little more (e.g., to confirm the move and then to let us know what time the crew would arrive). |But all in all we were very pleased, especially with the actual move and that's what mattered!

Description of Work: They moved us about 15 miles. They arrived on time, worked very hard. and were careful with our belongings. When one of the workers slammed his hand accidently against the wall he didn't utter any profanity. I was amazed.

Description of Work: One problem involved the need to use ropes off a deck to take 3 items from upstairs out of the home we were leaving. The office folks messed it up but the movers on hand saved the day and made it work.

Description of Work: Packed us ( did a great job) , stored furniture/boxes for two months (scratched furniture, wet boxes, dented boxes marked fragile) and moved us to a new location. The two men who came from Don's to move us in were good and kept us informed of arrival time. The two men who came from a relatively local firm were worthless. I had boxes marked for the kitchen that ended up on the second floor.

Description of Work: Moved my belongings and furniture from my previous apt to my new home. The crew was on time, and satifactory. They were helpful as I was not alsways sure in advance where I wanted the larger pieces of furniture placed. The entire move was over in about 3 hours. I did all the packing in advance.

Description of Work: I would recommend Don's moving to anyone. Three men were at our house on time and did not stop working all day. Some of th furniture was very heavy and had to make awkward turns, but they did all of it. We did not have far to move, but the three of them had the entire house moved in 5 1/2 hours, including their travel time.

+ -1 moreDon's Moving helped me out of a tricky situation when my original mover turned out to be sub par. I found out that they are one of the oldest companies in the area and I can't say enough about them! The whole move was very quick and very efficient, everyone had a particular job, very systemic, everything went very smooth, there was no sanding around wasting time. They are affiliated with Wheaton movers. They did everything in a very timely manor. I highly suggest them for the wonderful work they do!
